What is this non sense? I see literally everyone wearing serbia paint and they are 98% georgian (some kids wearing random paints and spamming sheni deda shekeveci) 1% actually serbian or balkan(or ex-yu whatever) and 1% russian (upside down flag)? What the hell?

Maybe it is the only paint they got from containers and they are tired of wearing green.

I can understand someone wearing foreign flags if they are simply similar to theirs, or like Balkans, wear each other's country (because why not? we have more options for a paint). But if someone just equips random paint for completely no reason, i cannot see any sense there.

I think the solution for this is simply releasing all country paints & make them expensive like hell. And the rarity in container is exotic but you will exactly get the country chosen in settings.

also a nice way for extra money ofc

I used Peru for a while when I equipped it by mistake and couldn't be bothered to change it.

But they're all terrible because of how the texture mapping works (hull, turret, and tracks are separate) and need to be removed or replaced with versions of existing maps with flag colours or animated ones.

Well, my thought on this is simply, why?  It's Tanki, not soccer.  Who cares?  While it's a nice way as some have said to make the soccer cups exciting, but after it's all said and done, I mean, whatever, it seems foolish.

It's PAINT!! That's all just paint. Like the paint on your house, car, bike. Some are plain, some have designs. There's a 2 story house a few miles from me that has the Cookie Monster painted on the side of it, including the windows. Would you knock on the door and complain? Ask, "Why?" There's a big Harley that drives by the house once in a while. It's painted black with red, orange and yellow flames. On the back fender is a white Skull and Crossbones. Why question it? To each his own. It's paint, nothing more.

So they maximize the value they got from pulling that paint unwillingly from a container.

I would kill to have a house with Cookie Monster on the side of it. My car in GTA has flames all over it.

But no tank should really have an ugly design of some random country that is decent at football/soccer.

Oh, I almost forgot about the house just 4 blocks from here. It's 2 stories, too. The bottom floor is all cement block (I don't know why, maybe it's an above ground basement since we have a high water table) and the living quarters is upstairs. On the cement block area, he has the Grinch painted on it.

This. Cookie monster cannot be compared to some random flag.

I was using that and other examples to express the fact that it's paint, nothing more.

Okay, we'll stick to tank paints. If you like, wear it; if you don't then, don't. Why are you obsessed with flag paints? Why do players wear anything other than the basic green paint? Some players wear certain paints as a fashion statement, others to show off their wealth, still others like the camouflage effect. There's a number of reasons why players wear certain paints. As for flag paints, maybe the player has family of friends who live in that country. Who knows? None of the paints I have are from my country, USA, so I don't wear them. However, if I had a German flag paint, I might wear it because of my strong German heritage. If I had Polish paint, I might wear that because the Polish influence is even stronger than that of the German.

So if i would say [any word as hello] to a georgian kid wearing serbia paint he would reply sheni deda sheveci. I do not think sheni deda sheveci means anything in Serbian.

Also already from nickname already 80% people are called geo, dato or giorigio so they are totally not serbian

CabbageRoll, I'm done. You are way too obsessed with flag paint being worn by others not of that country. You haven't explained your concern nor why it even concerns you. You asked why people are doing it and I think that's been explained. Now, you're carrying it a bit too far. I see nothing more to say on the subject and I think from this point it would turn into a useless argument over nothing. It's paint, players put it on their tank for their own personal reasons. Get over it.
