New Maps in MM, Turret Balance, New XT

Great! Just bought a Magnum M3 because it was so annoying in the game and i got killed by it all the time. I thought: If I can't beat them, join them…And now… they gonna spoil these parameters too  :huh: … Freeze out of balance, Firebird out of balance, Magnum out of balance… Maybe the designers can tweak Thunder too and make it too powerful. Then at least I get some pay-off on all the micro upgrades I put in :P...

Now magnum M4 fires every 7 seconds, independently of the charge level.

 

Compared to previous rate of 5 - 8.5 seconds (based on charge level) it is a 30% nerf at close range DPS and a 20% buff at long range DPS.

100% charge can be used at any range as long as you adjust the angle correctly. and you can charge it to 100% starting from the moment you spawn.

 

basicaly they increased the burst damage of magnum but slightly decreased the overall dps... but we can hide while charging up, just like how we can hide while reloading our hammer drum before emptying 5 rounds of terror and then hide and repeat again.

Better leave instead of dying due to matchmaking wait time

Thats a bit of an exaggeration. I'm in a game 90% of the time within 40-60 seconds at any of my alternate accounts ranks.

The reducing battle-times to reduce waiting times is a farce. 

 

I'm still waiting > 2x the "average waiting time" and when I do finally get in a battle it is max 9 minutes instead of 10.  And since we don't know map or team make-up in advance we need to waste more time in garage.  Time in battles is more like 7-8 minutes max.

 

Poor update.

 

Has anyone got to play on Cologne, Parma, or Magistral yet since yesterday? I've been getting a few Bobruisk battles, but no sign yet of the other 3. 

Just Bobruisk - a few times.  Have not seen the other 3.  Very odd.

This is my personal belief of why everyone hates Magnum: They view at as a vey powewful weapon that destroys them with no effort, go purchase it, and are disappointed when they can't get miracle results immediately. It happens in every game, in WOWS I was getting recite by carriers, so I bought one to rain death and #skycancer on the enemy…Yeah, with only 4 games under my belt I've lost 75% of them. In WOT I was sick of getting circle strafed by AMX light tanks, so I ground the the French light tech tree to get one… I rarely harm anyone in it, just get tons of Scout medals.

 

Perfect practice makes perfect. It took me 3 months to master magnum, 6 months to master rico, 1 month for Shaft and Thunder, 3 months for Isida (and I still haven't got it, after 2.3 years).

So we have to wait 1 or 2 minutes to play 9 minutes on a random map with random ranks. Great.

That's why many of us are playing so few since MM. I want to choose maps, I want to replay a battle with same people, as it was before. The best moments were 4-5 consecutive battles played with mostly the same guys on each side, it was really funny and I made friends that way.

I wonder if the dev's collect statistic date about how many friend requests are sent in average after battles.

In MM battles the ppl press continue and leave within seconds, so there is no talk about the battle, no chance to try it again on the same map, and no time to think about whom to send a friend request during the display of the battle statistics.

 

Friends are an important part of the game.. obviously for the players, but also for the company (as friends keep players bound to the game). MM closed down the chance to talk about the good moments in battles, closed down the puns given to the other team and so closed down the high rate of friend requests that was exchanged in the past.

 

The game in MM is pretty anonymous and single minded now. It's truly time to change that..

My point is not to master a gun. I can aim after playing > 4 years ;-)

 

Problem is that the game doesn't get better with the updates over the years. I don't know who is responsible for the game balancing, but he or she probably needs better understanding of mathematics. But it is a repetitieve problem in Tanki over the last few years. It doesn't matter if it are the tank parameters, game balancing or other things that need proper calculations before implementation.

 

For example: it doesn't help to shorten the game length to 9 minutes if the balancing isn't right. I always end up in a much stronger team or a much weaker team. On the few hundred so called "balanced" games i played, i can count the number of real balanced games on one hand (and don't need all fingers :P). I often leave games before 9 minutes of game play with any turret :rolleyes:...

Pitiful attempt.

 

if you were skilled you wouldn't need to prove it. Now if you had any talent or self-respect you wouldn't use Magnum as an example of ability. If you have to abuse a broken turret to feel powerful, something is wrong with you.

yeah i use firebird always but i dont say how pro and awesome i am

Wow, not even 9K players online. 8991...Not a surprise I wait 2 minutes to join a CP battle...

Yeah, I don't understand. I read not long ago, when a player asked why it took so long to join a battle, that the System may be looking for battles on empty servers. Well, if there are empty servers, why reduce the battle time to 9 minutes? Just put players waiting in the queue to an empty server, regardless of where it is and reduce waiting time. 

 

Usually, I have to wait over a minute (closer to 1 minute 30 seconds). If there are that many players in the queue, then there is enough to open a server.

Oohh i saw new overdrives!!! Their effects are!!! Wasp overdrive effect look like a nuclear bomb!! wth is that!! World war?

 

Also it ideas are REALLY BAD.

 

Those ideas are better

 

 

WASP = Disables enemies turrets recoil and makes u inmune to freez and burn effects, also gives a free double speed boost.

HORNET = Your attacks removes overdrives effects and removes drugs effects.

HUNTER = Allow you and near allies to see tankers behind walls,

VIKING = Attacks ignores protections and disables your turret own recoil.

DICTADOR = Current one.

TITAN = Push tanks away and gives u a full pushing power.

MAMMOTH = Makes you inmortal.
