New Maps in MM, Turret Balance, New XT

Not only is there a unique way of developing video games in Tanki Universe, now there is a new system of math too!

 

M0 micro-upgrades were just changed from ten levels to twenty levels, right?  In the normal universe it would be a very simple conversion...just double the value of any existing upgrade...an old MU4 converts to a new MU8...very straight forward.

 

In Tanki Universe this may or may not be the case based on some criterion known only to Tanki devs.  MU6 might become MU11 or maybe it will become MU12...possibly depending on how the moon casts a shadow on a borscht stained balalaika.

 

This is a Viking M0-MU6 that became a Viking M0-MU11.    ???

Here's a Viking M0-MU9 that converted to a Viking M0-MU17.    At least it didn't convert to a Wasp...maybe next update.

they did the conversion based on the amount you spent on the old MUs and used it to determine how many MUs you can buy in the new system with that same amount

I have learned that dealing with tech support and especially customer service is an exercise in futility.  You fill out forms and NOTHING is effected...your problem is still your problem, compounded with frustration and a waste of time.  Thanks, but I will pass on tech support or customer dis-service.

 

I would have been happy if this could have stayed a topic unto itself so I could at least garner some commiseration for my slight MU loss, but merged away into obscurity.  Ya just can't win with Tanki.

Oohh i saw new overdrives!!! Their effects are!!! Wasp overdrive effect look like a nuclear bomb!! wth is that!! World war?

 

Also it ideas are REALLY BAD.

 

Those ideas are better

 

 

WASP = Disables enemies turrets recoil and makes u inmune to freez and burn effects.

HORNET = Your attacks removes overdrives effects and removes drugs effects.

HUNTER = Allow you and near allies to see tankers behind walls and show you their HP bar,

VIKING = Attacks ignores protections and disables your turret own recoil.

DICTADOR = Current one.

TITAN = Push tanks away and gives u a full pushing power.

MAMMOTH = Makes you inmortal.

the fact that you added Cologne to MM, and Parma is good to me, but magistral and bobruisk me so good to push in does not come. As far as rico XT is concerned, it is really terrible compared to freezing, and it is mainly in appearance. I also mind the fact that the length of the maps has been reduced again, even though I normally wait about 40 seconds for the map and it is not generally beneficial.

Really having Legend 14 battling with legends 3 or lower . there is no chance to even try to get a battle going.

 

They need to consider every 4 Legend ranks as a different rank qualifying for battles...

 

L20 = 5 ranks higher than Gismo. Etc.

 

No more L10 vs Generals...  :blink:

I agree , but since this GS system has been added it changed the battles , so now it don't matter what rank you are as a legend its now based on what items your using from your garage. they all now have a point system . so the only way to get around it to battle with my own ranks or lower is to change my paints to the lowest GS score . also remove XT skins and drones turn off . this way my GS score is so low that once in battle I can change it up to using the highest paints and turn items back on . giving me advantageous over the weaker players . in other words getting high scores in battles. There is always a way to get around the system without breaking rules.

ok just to show you the proof that when you remove items such as drones XT skins and lower paints you score drops and you end up in lower rank battles.

It will take you to lower ranks or same ranks but with no drugs being used / or less in some cases.

I really like the Magnum and Ricochet update. Magnum reloads faster when charged to 100% and Ricochet fires an amazing 39 shots. This update is great so please keep these two turrets as they are now.

They decided that they were gonna be smart and nerf Magnum after months.

 

Instead, they just buffed Magnum "accidently". How the hell is that even possible??!

 

How hard is it to just straight-up just decrease the area damage, reload time WITHOUT NEEDING TO BUFF IT? 

In order to nerf it's short range capabilities, they intended to buff full power (long range) reload power. Devs are so dumb that they forgot that you can still play Magnum while using full power, and most players already do that. Now, Magnum is an extremely OP railgun. The devs could have simply prevented Magnum from firing from 0 to 20 degrees and 60-90 degrees. 

 

I tried keeping this as concise as possible.

ahahahahah.. it's so fun to see magnum haters celebrating at the start of this topic and their reactions after they realise the deep poop they're actually in

from what i noticed, people are actually learning to use magnum hammer-style much quicker than I expected. when magnum was first released everyone felt it was weak, only after at least 2 month people realised what a divine turret it was... but now people are taking less then 2 weeks to use this "nerf" to their advantage

what do you mean? it's not the devs who are dumb enough to forget that... it's you! . you were the one who started celebrating about the magnum nerf (that never was) all over the forums.

 

next time, read properly before you spam and later realize what a fool you were

Since "we" are not the ones implementing the changes I don't see how you can say that.

 

They rarely, if ever make the item adjustment we actually want. 

 

See Vulcan for example.  It overheats too quickly and too much because of a change they made to another turret.

So instead of just fixing the overheat bug, they completely change the turret to make it helpless on all smaller maps.

How is this "our fault"?
