I'm getting the feeling that Halloween this year is cancelled because this Star Week has been extremely close to Halloween, meaning it wouldn't make much sense if they were back-to-back events. They haven't given us any information on Halloween yet, which is odd.

I know it's a longshot, but for the last 7-8 years TO has never been spamming events like these before.

They come up with the new ideas - Easy to make few bucks such as purchasing the Easy Star Pass. They give us fun/trashy event, we give them money, that's how it works in Tanki these days. It's basically 50/50 with them.

So far this year has been non stop of events about 2 per months. There is no reason for worrying about Halloween. Halloween has been done since the start of TO and it is a big part of it. Regarding communication, they do it on purpose to make you worry, it seems to work on you. As usual they  will announce it the day before it starts. IMO it will starts on Thursday next week a before the V-log. Last year it lasted 13 days (with the decoration) and 10 days with the holiday map and included 2 weekends.

Dude, even without the star weeks, there are no new players coming.

Tanki is a game full of lags, full of hackers, full of mults, full of druggers. Bad graphics, bad Match Making Systeam. Only the players who knew the old Tanki stay here.

If I was new, I would play a few days and then leave.

Players are abandoning battles much earlier because they feel they wont have a chance at 3 stars. They dont want to waste their time on 1 or 2 (or even NO) stars - they leave and hope for a new battle where there's a 50% chance they are on winning team.

It is way more of a problem this week than previous weeks.

I'm glad this event is ending...

·Players are forced into hours or even days of Hell just to get the prizes and that's the amount of time out of their lives that they're not getting back.

·The rewards aren't even worth it.

Well you see, if you make the rewards easier to get it would literally just devalue the big events even more.

I really don't think that's how it works. Only the sales from star week, devalues the sales of the big events.

They've mentioned Halloween and their plans for Halloween in several of the latest V-LOGs, you needn't worry. ;)

But our reaction won't be as exciting as it once was before all the star week events happened.

We used to have crazy weekends which were fine. They would last only 2 or 3 days tops, which was perfect. And we were still excited for the big events.

Now with star week, all the big events like Halloween, New year's, tanki's b-day, and tankers day have lost the special touch that they once had. They're now nothing more than a routine like sensei said.

In 2014, I think, we had random sales every other week, yet players were looking forward to the special events nonetheless. Mainly because of special maps, decorations, special gold boxes and such that weren't around during random sales. I think part of the reason you don't get as excited anymore over special events is because you've been here for years, you've seen it all and at some point the novelties have worn off a bit (or a lot). Of course, the more 'special' events there are, the sooner you'll get used to them, so in that sense a bit less of these random events wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Ok I admit, completely removing the star week won't be the best thing to do. But the star week is too long and happens too often. Something needs to give. Either they need to cut down the duration to a few days max or make it happen only a few times a year.

I personally think they would be best as gap fillers. Like the period of time between TOs birthday and tankers day could use a couple of them. And between Halloween and new years could use one.

Star week is ruining the game. You're just playing drugs battles, without any fun. 9 out of 10 times, it's one team who completely dominates the battle. If I'm on the losing team, I either leave the battle asap, or (if I've reached 90 points = 1 star), just camp and wait unitl the battle is over. I won't do any effort in these kind of battles anymore.
