I had played in a match with the rank gap being 11 ranks.

Don't underestimate that Sergeant. He was able to get 100 score before anyone else reached 30 score. I and a few others then proceded to pass him as the enemies had gained their footing.  :P

 

He may not have done too bad considering that. But I bet that he sure as Hell was not happy about being put in a battle where everyone had better equipment than him. :ph34r:

I'm tired of seeing that damn word in every low-rank battle. I'm tired of seeing that damn word in this game in general.

That word is literally 10 times more common than the words "tank, tanki, tanks, tankers" combined.

How can we sway the skewed opinion of the developers of Tanki to get rid of the toxic MM and to move the game from reactionary to strategy like it once was?  I don't know this and I'd sure like someone to tell me what can be done instead of my constant whining, moaning and complaining about what has been done to the game I once loved.

Sorry, but in that specific case you need to buy Alternativa - any decision is made at the top level. You can't skew the opinion of the developers because they are implementing/coding what the management has decided for the game. The other option is to wait, when they would be not enough players to support MM then you might have an opening.

 

To me MM is here to stay - its Game-industry standard, especially if TO wants to implement events ans challenges that are played fairly. So you can't "I hate MM and will play somewhere else" because you will find MM there too.

I agree with the strategy bit, unfortunately the player average ages as drop down and battle are so short, even spending time in the garage has some consequences on the balance of the game.

To conclude the game you knew is no longer available since Q3 2016 - Also Neo-Tanki is too far developed to be reversed, the point of non-return was when they implemented MM.

I think you summed up this sad state of affairs very well.  I'm not sure about the "implement events/challenges" played fairly dependent on MM, but it is a moot point since MM is, like you say, here to stay...sigh.  :(  Nothing lasts forever.  Cheers

This is getting absolutely ridiculously stupid. I entered a CP battle. I spawned and the battle was over. Didn't even have time to load any supplies. How many seconds does it take to spawn? One minute is bad enough, but barely seconds?

The developers should bring some new maps into matchmaking.

The classic maps like esplanade, deathtrack, noise, kolhoz even hill or island.

Please remove osa, red alert and bobruisk. They are so boring and seem to be more rotated than any other maps.

Agree on Esplanade and Deathtrack.  Skylark would be nice too.

 

Big fat NO on Noise.  Too unbalanced.  Would quit every time MM gives me Blue on that map.

I love matchmaking, the only thing I'd like to see is shorter waiting times while keeping balanced fresh battles. Unfortunately, the bottleneck is the decreasing player base.

But have you wondered why there is the "decreasing player base"? Perhaps it is due to the atrocious MM system, but Tanki does not want to acknowledge this fact.  Just for the heck of if, if they ever allowed again missions to be completed in Pro battles, very few fools would bother with MM.  I have been trying for the past hour to get in to finish a mission "finish 5 Assault battles" and the bar loads forever until it kicks me out "due to inactivity"! What? I haven't even got into the game yet!

The average time is a joke because I have never been in a battle even remotely close to that time! And when I do get to manage to get in I have been in  a battle that ended within 20 sec because of the terrible unbalanced teams!  They call this MatchMaking? It is mote like MisMatch than anything else? Never mind the fact that the rank range is so wide that pits 4-6 lower level ranks against Legents! There must be a masochist in Tanki who thins that we like to get one shot even with DA by a higher rank with fully upgraded M3's, while we do not even qualify for an M3!   

Let's face it, this system was rushed into production without having been thought out properly and tested properly.

 

In the meantime Tanki will keep losing players.  I just barely do any missions, and only to get enough crystals to buy a pro pass and enjoy a good battle on the map I want to play and not the one's a low IQ game designer wants me to play.

This is happening to me more often especially when it is getting closer to server restart.

Any of you know why in some battles there are 3 6 stars given to players in come battles? I saw it in Kunger CP and in ASL before

I had the same question and a Mod replied that if you have a Premium account the stars just like XP and crystals Double up. Sure enough, I paid attention to who was getting the double stars and they all had Premium accounts.

When you get such daily mission, you can swap it. Most other types of missions like collect supplies, get kills, capture points, earn xp, earn crystals or finish battles are easy.

 

The hardest mission are top 3 and capture flags. It is really hard to capture flags with my M2 Titan Smoky and I will not use M2 Hornet in MM because I would be killed instantly due to low health.

There are a lot of ridiculous missions especially at the weekly level where you CANNOT change them! For example, get 50 overdrives, Score 10,000 points, get 15 top 3 finishes.  Also, score 3 goals in Rugby? yeah right, especially when you wait 2 min to enter a battle only to end within a few seconds later because one team was 1 goal away from winning. (especially on those "balanced" MM battles where its is 8 v 4!)

Just been on a Year 2042 CTF, changed turrets with 2m26s left on the clock.  Spawned and the battle ended before I could move.

Why?

 

edit: It wasn't a lack of players - it was 7 or 8 each side.

Why?

 

edit: It wasn't a lack of players - it was 7 or 8 each side.

Victory condition were lowered when battles reduced from 8 min to 7 min.

Those victory conditions are now easier to meet  - So many battles are ending in 5 min or less.

Cp battles are now ridiculous. If five or more points change to one color, then the battle will just end in less than four minutes.

 

Barely enough time to activate one overdrive without the nuclear box and teammate shared over drives.

This seems to be a very new thing.  Just been in a few battles and they're all endng stupidly early.  Even other players are complaining in battle chat, so it's not just me.

 

Probably THE worst thing Tanki has done, even worse than MM and that's saying something.

 

Curse the day they brought in mobile, because that's clearly what it's aimed at.

 

If Alternativa really wanted to get rid of all its pc players, this is it.

I noticed a weird pattern. Maybe it's just coincidence but I don't know. I played a lot of battles yesterday and this morning. 

 

Yesterday, I pressed Quick battle and it sent me to a CP battle. No biggie (CP is my least favourite mode). But after finishing every battle, Quick Battle loaded me into a CP battle 9 times in a row. Now, I would have had a serious problem with this if I wasn't using Shaft. Using Shaft was the only thing that made CP fun on that account. 

 

This morning now, The same spell happened where Quick Battle put me in 6 CP battles in a row. Again, I was using Shaft but it was annoying to be put into my least favourite game mode more than 2 times in a row. 

 

 

It's hard to say that it was all a coincidence but may it wasn't. Who knows?

Sometimes I feel as if I spend more time in que waiting for a battle than I do in the actual battle itself.

This is why I barely play team battle in MM. When my team gets dominated.... it's guaranteed defeat. Only do solo mode. And it's great for build my K/D back up.

 

Like Diesel said, when all points get conquered by one team.... there is no way you push them back in time.

 

Alternativa literally stated the MM scenarios. Sometime your team gets to dominate the enemy team. And I feel bad for the loser team.

 

Other time when you are unlucky, get dominated.... And yes, both of these scenarios DID happened to me.

 

If only few individuals repetitively dominated battle after battle, this creates massive unfairness and may result quitting the game.

 

I remember that when MM was introduced, one player ranted "WTH Alternativa! My overall K/D plummeted within a day all because of this MM garbage!" Yes it did happened.

 

Others were...."Oh why Alternativa why?! I won't play in my favorite map anymore!" "That's it I'm quitting the game!" With other complaints.

 

The battles that are ending early again, because of getting dominated. Which that absolutely annoys the hell of me too. At least though, not always.

WTH? 6 CP in a row?! I got into Highway 2 times in a row when I play DM.

 

The purpose of Quick Battle is to put players into a battle whether there is a spotor two left. When no.... sitting duck and no battle. So only those CP battles have spots left.
