Time to discuss a trend in the MM system for me. 

 

Cologne: I don't like this map on any of my accounts. While I don't like it, it is sometimes tolerable (Unlike Massacre). 

 

What I noticed is that I'm getting this map every other game (1 in 2-3 battles) and it's irritating. Whether on the same node or different mode, I'm getting this map too frequently for my liking. 

 

There was a time where I got it 3 times in a row and I wanted to leave when it dropped me in that map on the third time but I had a Score 2,000 points mission and points anywhere I could get it would matter and be desirable. 

 

I feel very frustrated when I see I get that map as the perceived atmosphere of the map is "cramped and dull". If this were to happen with a map like Desert, I would feel much better as it is a map I love to play in but I would get fed up of playing the same map over and over eventually. Sadly, it's happening with a map that I don't like.

I've been dealing with the same thing except the map is bobruisk which I absolutely hate. It's just too Damn small for 8 v 8.

Lets get bigger more open maps. Kunger and barda, while not huge are great in offering variance

Kunger is actually pretty big.  I would consider it a "large" map.

 

Skylark should be added.

Gosh, these kinds of battles are so rare these days. The comeback battles.

We were down 3-0 but we came back and won 4-3. 'Twas a really fun battle, but looking at it now, I'm not sure if the teams were balanced correctly in terms of rank. 

 

Also, a 9 v8 that happened yesterday. Apparently this is still a thing. We had 6-7 players for almost the entire battle and lost 30-3.

 But like I said before, for the low,low price of $19.99 you can buy 1,500 in supplies.  Nothing only about the money going on here.

You forgot to menton that the 1,500 drug kit used to be in the garage. Devs moved it to shop for profit, Hazel said so in a livestream himself.

I thought Match Maker was supposed to make battles more even?

 

If that's the case, why is there a SIX RANK spread in this game?

 

When you hit an enemy 3 times with double damage and they just shrug it off, seems to me that Matchmaker isn't working.  How about getting rid of it?  Things were a lot better before Match Maker.

I have experienced this a few times recently.  Some battles had become 6v7, but the system added a new player to the team with more people instead of the lesser one.

The concept of a matchmaking system is a good idea, how it was implemented into the game however, was the problem.

What the hell is going on?

 

Its taking half an hour to find a game. 

It thinks I'm superman putting a Brig in battles with Field Marshal + ALL THE TIME.

It throws you into battles that are DEAD already.  One side is 25 and the other has NO hope.

I'm frustrated with MM on TheCongoSpider. It keeps putting me in Legend battle.

 

We lost 5-0 This is happening too often and it's not enjoyable to play battles on that account anymore. It's such a grind that ultimately results in almost nothing. 

I made a post for better distribution of funds... and a reverse mission that works for the losers... precisely because of this kind of rubbish going on. Match Making is so ABSURDLY broken its stupid.

In the second one, you can see that Savage Draco left which made it 8 v8. I made sure to keep pressing the TAB button to make sure that the panel returned to the size it should have been. It did. Until HOPMAHH joined a few seconds after I did that. So it was a 9 v 8, then an 8 v 8 like it should have been, and then it turned into a 9 v 8 again. So it seems as if that is how those battles are seen to the system - it's seen as one team having one more spot than the maximum number on the other team so it would continue to send players as long as that space is available.

Either this guy is hacking or else there is a bug...  (top guy)

 

 

Where's the bug?

It's the leaderboard bug.  Sometimes system was unable to reset the numbers back to zero, so you would see the scores from previous battle.

Hello, I am here to discuss the assets of overdrives!

 

Wasp: It's a bomb, it kills.

So the bomber should die to it's own bomb, it's a 3-second timer, surely a wasp can zoom out of the area.

 

Hunter: I think Hunter should also get a healing effect when using the overdrive.

And, when I equip Double Damage and my teammate next to me also does, when 2v1ing the Hunter. I activate my Dictator OverDrive while the Hunter uses their overdrive, it wastes my overdrive.

 

Match Making:

Upon Self-Destruction, the kill should go to the nearest tanker or the tanker who applied most damage to the suicidal.

When I find a tanker flipped over, I use my railgun but because of the charge-up time, they Self-Destruct before my 2nd shot.

This is the problem, everyone practically contributed the same and got the same score as the opponent (unlikely in a battle).

However, despite contributing the same, they don't all get the same reward.

You see Michael [bLUE], on the winning side got 364 score but received more crystals than ABCDE who got the same score.

He may have won but he probably got more kills to get that score not capturing flags/points/touchdowns.

I am really starting to miss those small maps in Matchmaking. Island, Hill, Wave and so on. I think that was one of the interesting things about Tanki's map - that you could end up in so many different environments that weren't just 10v10 or 8v8.

I would have posted this in the "Stupidest sight in Tanki today" thread but that thread is falling apart again. I'll post it here. 

 

This is the stupidest thing I've seen in MM so far:

And it was done by one of the INEFABLE's (they both were in the battle). They are a strange duo to be honest. Is there any history on them or something? I had taken this screenshot back in April of them holding down the fort with Shock Freezes there:

I frequently saw them during the 20x Gold boxes in December and they were using Lifeguard Drones or at least one of them was. 

 

We were losing 1-0 and they had our flag while we had theirs. The Freeze Viking that had the enemy flag told me to return (I had my Overdrive ready). I went there and found a path that wasn't mined (There was a max-levelled Saboteur Drone user on each team). I go behind the container thinking that they were trying to escape around the side of it only to see the first image above. 

 

About a minute later, I initiate a second push and saw that he had been killed and was using his mammoth teammate to climb back up. I zapped them and in that time, our flag had returned and we capped. We then proceeded to cap their flag over and over until we won 1-5.

One thing I notice is that the INEFIBLE's leave the battle right before the time finishes and the end-screen comes up and it would show that they weren't in the battle at the end. I found that strange every time I saw that.

I like the new update from yesterday (Last day of MAY), they are going to add new, fresh & upgraded maps.

But the things I mentioned in my last post should be easy to add in?

I am still not happy that I receive less crystals than and enemy with the same score on the winning side.

and stop ****ing self-destructing when your flipped over just let me kill you.

1. Wasp should self-destruct on their overdrive

a. They are fast.

 

2. Dictator should have immunity or something to Wasp's Bomb, they are slow to move out the area of damage.

a. reduce the area of damage to the area the bomb explodes.

 

3. GoldBox Beam, I can't find goldbox even when i'm right next to it, i drive away to other areas to find it.

a. Increase the goldbox spawntime

b. add a beam

c. make sure nothing can cover the goldbox drop-zone.

 

4. Self-destruction, the kill goes to another player or the player who applied most damage.

a. they explode when flipped i have flag and easy kill but distraction.

 

5. Balance rewards for MM.

a. i contribute the same as the enemy aka the winner  who/whom gets a better reward 

 

6. more crystals

a. i still have m1's at the my current rank (the 2 diamonds on eachother)

b. remove the paints from kits because those are expensive.

b(a). they should even be kits, they should be combo offers like Hammer + Viking, Freeze + Viking, Magnum and Mammoth.

b( B). add alterations if u aint gonna remove paints. ADD IT FOR FREE.

 

7. purchase shot effects

a. thunder shot effect should be when exploding/hitting the other player, it has a colour like purple or red etc.

b. 10k crystals to 20k

b(a). but that could ruin your shop because crystals are cheaper than containers.

b( B). why are paints so expensive in the shop idc they are paints for tanks, THEY ARE PAINTS FOR TANKS NO ONE IS GOING TO NOTICE IT UNLESS THEY'RE A PAINT COLLECTER.

 

8. forums is tooooooo organised, infact its too organised that i couldnt even find Gold-Box-Drop-Zones on my own.

8a. Suggestions > Gameplay > Pro Battles

      Suggestions > Gameplay > MatchMaking

       Suggestions > Power-Ups > Overdrives

       Suggestions > Power-Ups > Drones

8b. Make it FORUMS not FORUM just triggers me.

8c. infact dont even split overdrives and matchmaking because im not clicking and waiting for my stupid wifi to load every click.

9. Stars should be like

70-150 score = 1 star

151-250score = 2 star

250-299 score = 3 star

300+ = 4 star
