So what have Devs done to Team balancing?  It is broken.

 

Battles are starting off uneven and the losing team is not gaining recruits.  8 vs 4 for first 2-3 minutes of battle.   :o

I was doing a DM mission and none of the battles were fun. I was either put into battle full of players 5 or more ranks higher than mine or put in battles where I was constantly being spawn killed before I even had a chance to react.

 

I can't help but feel that it's all because of the star week we just got out of.

Joined a DM just now because I have to (mission). Me and 1 other guy were the only non-legends in the game.

What strikes me is that all these legend-guys are constantly drugging as much as they can, even to kill a Lieutenant General like myself.

Is that what it takes to become a legend ?

It's all about Stars.

 

You're best bet is to wait until this "event" is over, then start playing again.  Might be a bit better then.

Hey guys ! In my past 27 battles joined (I didn't play all), I captured the players list at the beginning of each battle. I spent hours to check all these players stats, drug used, equipment, ranks, etc etc on these lists. What I found that shocks me. Long story short, it is not Match Making; it is MATCH FIXING ! and 18 out of 27 (2/3) battles I was put on the statistically absolute weaker team, 5 out of 27 was in the even teams situation and the rest, only 4 battles (15%), I was sent to the statistically stronger team.

 

I haven't reached the rank that allows me to buy pro pass yet. I now play more other games, which I also play in regular basis, on the internet. I believe I will put a pause on this game and come back months later, after the X'mas event I believe, to see if things getting better like the MM is much fair, much reasonable missions, better rewards, better items in containers. What is happening here at this moment highly frustrates me.

 

P.S. I opened a couple of containers (6 or 7, I don't remember well) recently, they are all junks like supplies (I already have too much), paints (I don't really care) and one container opening even freeze my browser (Chrome). I even didn't know what I got or did I get nothing from it.

       Well... I'm an MM hater now. I had high hopes for it before it came out, but after 5 months after being released I have seen very little improvement from day one. Same blowouts, same 2 minute battles, same noob teams. Frankly, I don't know why the devs bothered to release drones, when you have an MM system to fix and a firebird, thunder, and a smoky to nerf.

All estimated waiting times are a lie.

Pretty sure the EWT do not take into account aborted attempts when calculating average.

 

First try... EWT is 19 seconds, but 55 seconds go by and no battle assigned - so - hit exit.

Second try... (as we all know works faster) and you get assigned a battle in 8 seconds.

 

Instead of 55 seconds + 8 seconds the system uses just the 8 seconds when calculating EWT.

The system throws away that 55 seconds because it never resulted in a battle placement.

 

No proof - but this is what I suspect is happening.

I get that aswell, but quite often the first both second exceed the estimated time. Second try is better.

sometimes the client stops responding in the first try; do you get that too?

Equip Titan/Ricco and places me into Brest.  Play that out with moderate score now that ricco sucks at distance.

 

Next battle places me into TDM on highways.  Same combo.  No thanks.  Exit.

 

Next MM places me into a (TDM) battle with 2+ minutes left and my team losing 38-5, while being spawn-killed.  Quick exit.

 

4th battle - Rio - 3 minutes left and my team losing 31-8, getting spawn killed in base.

 

Match-Maker is a piece-of-crap.

I don't know about you folks, but playing some Assault battles today made me realize how unbalanced Assault mode can be.  For maps like Massacre and Barda, Blue team can just camp on the point and keep killing Red team. 

 

Why not move the point closer to the middle of the map!?  Have Blue actually fight its way to the point as opposed to just strolling to the point seconds from spawning.  Come on!

 

Edit: But back to Matchmaking...I don't like how we don't get to choose which team on ASL we get to be on.  Sure, it's good to be well-versed in battle types, I guess.  But I really don't want to re-queue for ASL because I keep being put on Red team on Massacre, Barda, or any maps where the ASL point is bizarrely near Blue's spawn.

MM is broken, as usual.

 

First battle, I get dumped into a CP battle on Bridges. My combo is Rico/Titan and the score is 0-3. Changed to long range alt, and began to claim some of the points for my team. Within a minute we are spawncamp fodder and are being destroyed by a bunch of crazy drugged up russians. I spawn, and I'm already hit by a sniping thunder. I stayed because "I have a complete 5 CP battles" mission

 

Results of the battle:

Second battle, I get thrown into an Osa CP with mostly Warrant Officers, in which one of them was a WO2! We cap all the points and start spawncamping them. I get a good score, but get a paltry reward.

      My third and final battle was the most infuriating. I get thrown into a sandbox CP. "Nice, a map that suits my turret!" I think. I discover that my team is camping in our base and there is a Vulcan on the other team with the fire alt demolishing everyone. What was weird was that the C point hadn't been capped yet! I go to cap, and nearly die from a Twins/Wasp. The other team is far in the lead, with the fat vulcan trolling us. A gold drops, and I troll him by killing him so he can't take the gold. I'm also capping A, which brings us not too far behind the other team. Alas the trolling vulcan keeps demolishing us once again, and they get double the points than we do. Needless to say, we lost.

Conclusion: MM does not regard the map, nor alterations, nor ranks, when selecting a map. It's been 6 months now, come on devs! Stop putting me where I'm either Godmode_ON or a mult! There's a reason why I'm not spending my money on your trashed up game!

Legend 8 minute battles are way too short.

 

1) You get lucky and join when battle is just starting.

2) After spawning you realize, that this turret and hull combo does not fit into this map, go to garage change, respawn - 7 minutes left.

3) Play 2 minutes to see which is popular turret being used for enemies.

4) Again, go to garage to change protection modules, after respawning 4.10 left on timer.

5) After that, it's already 0-3 for enemy in CTF(damn those early game WASP's with their speed and insaine flag capping power), now since you are wearing correct gear and prots, time to make back some score. 

6) And game ends at 2-3 loss for us due to game being too short. Total decent gameplay 4 minutes. TOTALLY NOT ENOUGH.

 

Since many legends have basically full m4 garages, they don't use only 1 specific MU-d turret/hull combo for all maps, but change accordingly. This makes 8 minutes too short.

Maybe the forum needs like a support group for some of us that stay in bad battles until the end... sometimes. Unlike many, even noobs, buyers, and so called pros, whom quit battle as soon as they see they are going to lose or that it's harder than they wanted.

 

I believe we have problem, we know the game balance is bad, we know that a comeback is very hard, yet we stay. Why?

One reason to stay (besides being a masochist) is to complete a daily mission like "finish # battles in (mode)".

 

Which is why they should add "finish top-2 losing team" to that crazy top-3 x15 weekly mission.  Might have a few more players finish even bad battles if they can gain another step on that mission.
