Why are Legends still allowed to play with Gissimos and under? still astounds me cause they could be Legend 1 or Legend 50, and legends usually have mk8s whilst majority of players under legend havent had the time/experience to amass mk8s, unless they were very focused on only a few equipment combinations. 

I'm sure there are plenty enough legend players for it not to be an issue of wait times, since almost all the battles I join I'm the only non-legend on my team

To be fair, there are legitimately good Gissimos, Field Marshals, etc. that know what they're doing in battle even if their Garages aren't as good as those of Legends.  On the flip side, there are also Legend players who easily get lost and/or pwned in battle due to bad matchups, bad mood, etc.

As for why the Matchmaker places Legends and Gissimos together, well...I guess it's a deliberate design by Tanki's devs to expose Gissimos, Field Marshals, etc. to the heights of Legends.  I dunno for sure, but that's what I think.

in terms of rank its not unbalanced. its obvious other team where either much better organised are just had better equipment/or both. unbalanced is 5/6 ranks above you as a legend you should have practically  a full garage and if not then its your fault for ranking to quickly and not being able to keep up with your ranking in regards to your upgrades//combos etc.

the matchmaking does not work, and it would take considerable effort to put it right hence your stuck with it

Oh yeah, and we lost and our team got called stupid. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ We did our best. 

Called stupid by a monks player, i wouldn't worry about it hes useless as his score indicates and he couldn't hack it.he's one of bauxyz bought players the old man has about 10 clans all dedicated  for one purpose cheat /hack / and win by any means possible. i notice your rank is very low but you seemed to do ok.

Oh don't get me wrong.  The Matchmaking system has made battles a joke.  Blowouts every now and then.  Bad gameplay scattered throughout.  And the battles that are balanced and feature skilled play are few and far between.  You're more likely to be on the dominating team or be dominated yourself than to grind out a closely drawn match.

More battles where fast-loading players are basically capping a flag in under 30 seconds as I'm just spawning.

FIX this issue or I will continue to exit these battles.  And many others will too.  I know this because they are hitting exit before I do.

If you can't reliably send me into a different match after I've left the current map, could you just get on with making the battle list? New gear is cool and all, but I'd kind of like to enjoy the game in it's current state instead of hope for more meta-shaking junk thrown into the pile in the hopes maybe it'll be less of a gigantic refuse dump. Adding five Chevelle bodies to your yard doesn't make you look cool, it makes you a redneck.

      I am one of them. For a couple of other reasons. One being hunters overdrive. There is no skill in making a team mate drop a flag that he or she has captured and within a second or 2 just about to cap. There is no skill in this what so ever.......

Hornet OD can do that just as fast - from farther away.

i've been playing my main last couple of days because it's maxed out, and these xtra funds don't mean nothing at my rank.There are 2 main issues at legend rank that make it really hard to get anywhere in battle, 1 HORNET(OBVIOUS CHOICE) the other is gauss and it's EMP. This is what happens when a HORNET/MAGNUM ACTIVATES IT'S OVERDRIVE, your reduced to WO1 and wiped out with the greatest of ease. SO HAZEL how about explaining why HORNET is still allowed to be so dominant, when you readily nerf other far less overpowering turrets/hulls/drones and overdrives, which gives HORNET an even BIGGER advantage than it already has.It would be refreshing to get an answer from YOU personally why you allow this to go on.Just post it here so everyone can see your reasoning behind HORNET being allowed to dominate the way it does..25/7/2020 No answer as of yet from hazel,must be on a extended tea break, let's check back at a later date. Update 28/7/2020 Hazel must have a huge tea-pot still no reply, let's wait a bit longer. patience is a virtue. 31/07/2020  Well just watched another v-log and no mention about MURDER HORNETS OVERDRIVE. HAZEL must have his own tea plantation to take this long, let's give him more time shall we, he is after all a very busy dev with lots of priorities to consider, like does a watched kettle actually ever come to the boil,2 sugars are 1, stir tea to the right or mabey to the left, all in all a very busy dev. 03/08/2020...Well still not a peep from uncle hazel, must admit getting worried about our illustrious chief dev now, i do hope he hasn't strayed too far from TO HQ, there are a lot of MURDER HORNETS lurking in the shadows and those evil killers take no prisoners CHIEF DEV ARE NOT, makes no difference to them, a kill is a kill.

I agree.

And then there's the opposite.

Hornet as a light hull has lots of speed.  But it can also equip a very high damage turret without any penalty.  And TO has given it the trifecta via drones like Defender - extra heavy armor - again with no penalty.

They've made heavy hulls obsolete - especially ones like Titan that have so many counters.

I only used titan once in the half dozen battles i could muster the will to play on my main. I was hunter but we were winning, so i thought best if i defend now and go for the win, that's not gonna happen again.

How many times have i been called a hacker: players that whine in battle and constantly chat are just a waste of space, and should no when they are being outclassed and stop ? and just accept their defeat by the no>1 HORNET KILLER.  Noob like rats the lot of them ?

    They keeping the wasp/hornet family happy. These 2 hulls are in so many events, the parkour family, you name it. Along with a big chunk of little income is still coming.

Ok there are a few factors to doing well in a MM battle. 1 your equipment...hull/turret/modules, are they strong enough at your rank and at least 2/3 ranks above that. 2 The team of randoms you get put with....are they decent players or complete noobs. 3 Overdrives....does the one you use help out in most of the battles you go into, are is it pants because of murder hornets. 4  Drones....does yours give you a big enough advantage (boost) in battle to make a difference to your overall score,and does it help the team in general. 5 THE BIG ONE....does your spending capacity enhance your garage, or is the lack of cash a reason that your garage is somewhat weaker than you would like. 6  Ranking....are you one of the many that is affected by the boosted funds, and are ranking to quick to meet the demands of your ever diminishing (weaker) garage, therefore being at a big disadvantage when MM throws you in with ranks way above your standing (legends excluded)  7 Are you confident in your own ability to do well in battles, does your garage give you confidence, your skills, or a combination of both. 8 Can you play any map, are or you dependant on a select few to do well in battles. 9 Do you have enough supplies to use them at will in battle, are do you have to go easy on them. 10 Does playing in a group help you are or you better off in battles on your own... All these factors merge into one when entering a battle, and depending on how many apply to you (in my opinion) goes a long way to how well you do in the majority of battles.... no.2 is of course a 50/50.

2b .... Is MM placing you in battles with players much higher rank than you?

This trumps the other 10.  If you are always lowest rank (by a fair margin) you will almost always do poorly compared to rest of players.  In TO - it's all how you do compared to everyone else.

Check out my pic in tanki pic of the day, gotta admit i'm pleased on how well i did, we had a good solid team in defence and i blocked off 1 of the ways they usually try and get our flag. So a lot of the factors that i wrote about came into effect in that battle,at least for me.
