Just bad luck i guess, although we did have 1 battle where we were on the same side,and we won, so not all bad i suppose over the last month.

My second encounter with the 20% legal cheat brigade, on this occasion i actually killed him without the assist of a overdrive. Devs must have gave me special MURDER HORNET abilities by mistake for a couple of mins in that battle. 

More like you over estimate the ability of the Hornet and of the spectrum B.

Can't see how i could do that when i see countless battles being dominated by the combination of hornet / magnum in particular. And as for the B module they seem to survive way longer than any 20% should allow.

Half there team left after going 2-0 down. The low rankers that stayed didn't have a clue, and were massively outgunned.

I do so hate cowards. Even if you lose if you topscore you get decent rewards and usually three stars for Challenges. Besides that, stay for your missions and get those done. The only reason I find it acceptable to leave is if there's someone using a cheating software on either side.

This was a joke i only stayed because we were losing and enemy team were all over them. got overdrived once and ganged up on in there base..good win all the same.

Seriously?

You can't think of at least one other reason to leave an ongoing battle?

Yes. Cowardice is a flaw of character, and a door into the realm of uselessness. Surely you know that now the matchmaking is flawed, so are you really going to put further stress on their precious toaster oven by making it find the "perfect" battle? Rise above, make every loss a learning experience.

Some losses are genuinely out of my control. What can I learn from being steamrolled every time I spawn by 5 players at once because my teammates are either AFK, have much weaker equipment than their rank lets on or have significantly organisation than the enemy? There is only so much one player can do before team effort is required for a win or even a draw. 

 

Also I see no reason to participate in a Stadium CTF or TDM with a light hull and a melee turret if I'm just going to be killed by a Shaft, Gauss, Railgun or Magnum every time I go to the middle or try to enter their base. Sure there are a lot of stuff that I "could've done better" when I die but at best that would have let me liv3 for at most a few more seconds than I actually did.

Sorry gotta disagree with you, if MM puts you in a battle with say 2 mins already gone and it's a full on legend fight and enemy have already capped, then i leave and go to next battle. Same if i get killed within 20 secs of joining by MURDER HORNET MAGNUM and there is more than 1 of them and they are laying siege to our base,i leave and try next battle that is more balanced when i join. There are quite a few mitigating factors to leave a battle, but i would not leave just because we went down a couple of flags.

"hornet / magnum" combo is the new "Viking / Thunder. You see many of them because they like to kill the EZ way and worship the K/D god, no other combo can provide this. If they were interested by capping flags and other defensive objectives they would have chosen another adequate combo. You know that every kids wants to be the attacker player in football and be the guy that scores, same here, except that it's not about capping but killing, so in a funny way the "murder" tag is appropriate. 

Module B provides what it says on the tin 20% against all turrets - no more no less, however, in noobs hand this module is wasted, but in pro hands it is definitely not. Please remind me which players get this special module? ... Here you go, now you understand why they survive longer.

Even a powerful tool can be wasted or exploited to its fullest, it is all depends on who is steering the wheel.

Of course MM is flawed - and I won't endorse it by staying in battles under the following conditions...

- opposing team loads first and caps before other team can defend.
- Rank difference of 8 or more
- All Legend battle and 1 (or more) teammates have GS < 5000
- Enter battle and other team already winning by 2 or more
- Enter battle and other team is spawn-killing in base
- Get placed in battle with < 5 minutes remaining
- 2 minutes elapsed and I see multiple tanks on my team not participating

I don't give a crap about stars.  I play the game for fun.  It's nice to win.  But losing a close battle can be fun as well. Acting as padding for enemy teams scoring does not fall under my definition of fun.

 

Devs could fix many of the issues detailed above.  But instead of correcting a core piece of their game they continue to add bells and whistles that in no way improve the quality of the game.  So I will not waste my time and will continue to bail on crappy battles.

mmmm right and wrong, agree with the B module in the hands of a pro, but it is only 20 how can they kill me when i got 50 against them, and i am more than capable of taking them on . viking/thunder is nowhere near as OP as MURDER HORNET MAGNUM. And 9/10 they attack the base with overdrive on and usually cap after killing at least 2-3 while making their escape. HORNET players need a serious nerf, then lets see them attack the way they do now in battle. The balance of TO is a shambles, the devs no this but do nothing to try and correct their monumental, haphazard mistake they introduced called MM. Add to that overdrives especially MURDER HORNET, and the balance went out the window at high speed and carried on until it eventually fell off and over the highest cliff in history. And it's still falling everyday they do nothing to re-balance a very unfair update that only had the interests of a certain player in mind, the P2W variety. This is not about how good you are or how noob some players are,this is about 2 things that were brought into the game, MM and OVERDRIVES and the adverse effect it has had on gameplay since they were introduced. Forget about drones and the terrible MK system (that left many players with a weakened garage) and the sky high shop prices that favour a very select few, MM and OVERDRIVES have shifted the balance of the game to a new all time low.Add the ultra containers to the mix and it's quite clear that only serious buyers have any chance to gain from all of this. This is my opinion of TO in it's present state. It's broken or fixed, depending on how much cash you have. This is why TO is very unfair and terribly biased, not only towards a certain type of player (buyer) but also towards those players that use a certain type of hull (MURDER HORNET). Until those two main problems are fixed TO will remain UNBALANCED, and for a lot of players unfair and very frustrating when entering battles way beyond their rank, and also their ability to spend the amount of cash needed to compete, even at ranks comparable to their own. 

Apart from the above statement >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ⬆️ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>⬆️<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< ⬆️ <<<<<<<<<<<<<<< i think the devs have got it spot on.

People have different reasons of leaving the battle. Not everyone will agree to them.

 

For example, I'll leave if:

· The enemy teams average GS is 1000 or more than my teams average GS.

· My team is being spawn camped.

· The battle is full of legend ranked players.

· I feel like the battle im in isn't helping the progress of my missions very much.

Ok here is a screen of 2 well known players, the first is a grinder and earns his funds in a normal honest way.

So does anyone have any idea how this player can increase his cry by over 200.000 without his xp moving at all. I believe you can only get on the ratings board by completing MM battles only, if this is not the case then again is there anyone who can explain how this player is doing this. I have a word for this type of player.

It's possible that they're using Dictator and the Mechanic drone to achieve high scores in the battle and as a result earn more crystals. Battle score gained from Dictator's Overdrive and support drones does not contribute to EXP earned. You will find them in ASL on the blue team.

Not a single xp earned at all for a 200.000 cry increase, i respect you congo but that is impossible in MM battles. Not 1 single xp nah, doesn't wash with me.

These people are likely to travel in organised groups for maximum efficiency. Sometimes they use Isida, sometimes they use a different turret on the Dictator. 

 

For gaining score, you could have a group of Isidas like this. As you can see in the top picture, one of them is using the Mechanic drone.

Using Isida with Dictator would decrease the ratio of EXP to crystals since healing gives EXP. It may not be much EXP but with premium it is multiplied by 9, so you'd want to not use Isida and rather use another turret and not shoot. 

 

Here's one where Monster.Energi and yrap_cool used Dictator and Mechanic.

Does Dictator OD or mechanic drone effect boost the Dictators OD?  If not, they won't be getting OD often enough to generate a high score without doing something else.  All those players being boosted by the dictator will far outscore it in a normal MM battle.

 

And you still get exp when healing with Isida.

They are breaking the rules of that i am confident, i detest cheating in any form and these plebs imo are doing just that.
