You just can't help yourself from posting condescending posts.  It's amazing how much you think of yourself.

 

You were not in the battle so you have no clue.  You pretend TO does not make mistakes, or not ever lie.

Pretty sure the paints they claimed to be exclusive can now be found in containers.

You either are completely naive or have no integrity.

 

Here's an example for you... a group logs in to play a game and gets assigned to a battle.  And no other group signs in for next 5 minutes.

Would you have us believe that group (and all other players already assigned) will sit in queue for 5 minutes?  :rolleyes:

My alt account - rank of Colonel - just left a battle where every other player was Lt. General up to F.Marshall.

 

And they wonder why we struggle to get stars...

This happens often to me. As a General it is hard work in a battle with all Legends and now and the the odd Generalissimo.

At my rank I played with commanders about 3 times...

But I mostly do play with field-marshals on a regular basis.

When you're one of the lowest ranks it's better to quit most of the times. When you quit you're leaving your spot for hopefully some higher rank to hopefully help that team. In this sense you leaving is actually good for balancing that battle, if MM decides to add a new player to that team of course.

Would be nice if MM decides to actually work and not make you the lowest rank every time

And was I wrong about "exclusive" paints making their way into containers?

 

Since you know it all - what happens when a group logs in and a reciprocating group does not log in for 4-5 minutes.

Everyone already assigned waits 5 minutes?

Or they load the battle with non-group players and start the match.

Unless you switch modes (maybe I have a mission in that mode) you stand a good chance of getting dumped back in that same battle.

Now we are looking at much longer times for getting in battles.  Not as simple as they claimed.

One complaint about MM star mechanic is that I notice that you earn 0 stars if you earn less than 100 score in a battle which isn't fair because you could be put in the battle with 3 minutes left and earn like 70 score and still get 0 stars which happened to me and it's also harder for mobile users and flag defenders etc 

 

the stars you get should be based on more factors

If you seek stars then change battle, don't be shy.

Then why drop me in that battle in the first place ? For all I know the one that replaces me could also have a lower rank.

The point I am trying to make : in a MM system that works as it should, this would not be possible.

I know, but the system has many flaws. My suggestion is for us to deal with the system while we wait for fixes.

In a MM battle that consists of the Rank Legend, why must one team always have significantly more Legends than the other?

So many battles where there are significantly more Legends on one team than the other. They said that the system looks at each player's garage and sorts them but why are you sorting M4s on one team and a mixture of M2/3/4s on the other team?

Ricosck entered the battle at the beginning, 7:52.

 

Ricosck played with effort until the score rolled to 50 to 0, which was at about the four minute point.

 

Considering the image, need I say more? MM is broken. How does it get that lopsided? How do you justify depriving me (and the entire team) of Stars?

As you can see, the match was far from balanced. Blue led almost the entire time. We somehow got lucky and pulled out the win in the last 10 seconds. 77/82 v 68/87

vollante79 has a Gear Score of 1255, M2 equipment. How do I express sympathy when most players are stuck like that too often?

I point out vollante79's plight because his activity was thorough also. S/he played hard the entire match. At such an equipment disadvantage a score half mine (Ricosck GS at the time was ~8850) is actually impressive. (Phe567, perhaps also. I cannot tell.) I often say GS is meaningless, but it gets us in the ballpark. Obviously the remaining poor sods were stuffed in a hopeless battle late after the original team members bailed. 

 

Look at the second match and consider how much difference it made that all 16 original players (apparently) played hard the entire battle. The better team was obviously Blue, who lead nearly the entire 8-minute match. Somehow, Red pulled it out. Probably by determination and stubbornness alone. Also by remembering keeping the Points is the point of CP.

 

Given how willing most players are to abandon battles for the least reasons, it is obviously impossible for MM to work. No matter how important the Devs say it is, it is broken and the most frustrating aspect of Tanki Online today.

 

BTW, "Sippin' on straight chlorine...lovin' what I'm tastin'.

Can this get any worse? I mean yes it is fun playing with higher ranks because they aren't mindless druggers... but surely this has crossed the limit.

The previous battle I entered... my team was losing 16-90 (TDM) And the ranks were from my rank all the way down to Warrant Officer Two.

I was testing out deathtrack and forgot how far apart the team spawn points are there. If any map should be added to MM, it should be deathtrack for sure.

I agree.   And Skylark too.    But Devs want lots of deaths (sandbox) so players will use up RKs. 

 

Also harder for spawn-killers as it takes them a minute or to to return to your base after you eventually kill them.

Did an experiment in MM Assault mode to figure out why I was being placed on the Blue team so much. Honestly, I like being on the Blue team because I use Isida but sometimes, I like to help the attackers by shooting into the base. 

 

I did 15 Assault battles over 3 days and in 12 of the 15, I was placed on the Blue team. All 15 battles, my combo going into the battle was Isida + Titan. This was before the Alteration sale.

 

After I bought "Launcher: Uranium" for Striker in the sale, whenever I had to do Assault for a Mission, I would want to be on the Red team so I can maximise Striker's potential there. I didn't record the exact number (it was less than 10 but more than 5 battles) but when going into the battle with the combo Striker + Titan, I was placed on the Red team more often than the Blue Team. 

 

I wanna believe this is a hidden mechanic of Matchmaking. Since the game mode is basically Attacker vs Defender, it makes sense that they sort the attackers away from the defenders. How well they do this and mix it up between the teams though, is questionable.

Also, this is what happens when you let a Duplet user, who is at the same rank as Duplet's unlockability, into a battle with them being the highest rank.

The guy had BOTH the most kills and the least deaths. Also, how demotivating it is for someone in the Warrant Officer ranks to meet someone with 34% protection against their turret?

 

Congratulations to rush8 as well for ranking and dropping 2 golds in that battle. Unfortunately, the Duplet got one. <_<

Group of campers should have teamed against that noob Duplet, it would end differently.
