^easiest weekly mission is the middle one - FinIsh 10 Daily Missions. Can be done in as little is 4 days if you slog through every daily mission, or just by breezing through the easiest 10 daily missions over 7 days.

Yeah - depends on synergies. 

 

If you get lucky (use overdrive 5 times, earn crystals in __ mode, collect # supplies) 3 daily can be done in 1-3 battles.

 

If you get unlucky ( 3 different finish 7 battles - same day) it can take a lot longer... I had this last week :wacko:

Agreed - I’ve been lucky for a few days and was able to do all missions in about 30 minutes.

 

But Today I got a score 1500 points in Assault battle. Took a full hour of crazy MM battles.

A new weekly mission just popped up. Score 10000xp points in battles. It appear in the first slot. Isn't that supposed to be the easiest of them?!?

I got the same mission in the alt acct I'm actually using....it is rank 10, a sergeant major...one rank below Warrant Officer1. 10000 is almost 25% of all the XP I have ever accumulated in this tanks career!  This rank 10 has almost 43000XP.  10,000 score....FOR ONE CONTAINER!  Stupid, not to mentions pointless...aren't missions supposed to be motivating?

What I don't get is Tanki numbers aren't dropping.  In fact they increased dramatically for Halloween and have been hanging in rather substantially since.  Today is about the worst so far since the end of the month but they are still at 27000.  Before Halloween it would hover around 22000.  What gives? 

 

I would have thought this update on missions would drive players away...it has certainly decreased the time I play.  I've dropped this account completely and only play a couple of lower alt accts and a brand new newbie account I just made....and I've already stopped trying to complete 20 missions per week on any acct.

 

Could it be the influx of mobie players?  Anybody have an idea why Tanki is doing better than they were last month?

A prediction from 2 years ago by me:

 

"The game is gonna die, stay like this, or have a massive player spike. Why the player spike? Because if TO gets an app (and I really hope it doesn't),  hordes of 9 year olds will tumble into the game. Instead of being good players, they will whine and complain and ask for stupid things to be implemented." 

 

It seems that my 3rd prediction came true.

For the daily mission it holds true that the one on the left is the easiest, the one on the right the hardest. As for weekly missions, the first one can be pretty hard, while the second and third one are as hard as the daily missions that you have to complete for these weekly missions combined.

Could be a number of reasons, one of them likely to be the mobile version indeed. Perhaps the season/weather also plays a role.

One reason could be that this was launched during a star week with double battle funds. Folks got hooked on it, and are now finding they have to play for twice as long to achieve the same level in crystal-target missions as they did in the first week. The longer you play, the more simultaneous players you'll see at any one time.

Just thought I would remind you developers. Thanks once again for ruining the game with your new mission,alterations and sorry ass drone updates. It is as if you done it on purpose.....

 

What fricking joke. All that is my fellow tanker is that they want to force you to stay in the mm system for little bit of peanuts.

Can anyone provide the date Vulcan was introduced in the game?

 

Can anyone provide the date the Player Profile was implemented?

 

My youngest account is Sarek_V, a dedicated Vulcan, started when Vulcan was introduced. Sarek's kills per hour are too high. Thus, not all his hours are recorded by the profile system. (Profile must have been implemented after I initiated Sarek_V.)

 

I'm looking for accounts created after Player Profiles were implemented, such that the player has all hours played accounted for in the profile stats.

 

Anybody care to volunteer? If your account is younger than the profile system, how many kills do you have? How many hours have you played? Kills per hour equals?

 

I bet not many have more than 100 or so kills per hour average, and I suspect most are closer to 65. I also think players, on average, are only getting about five MM battles per hour. 65 ÷ 5 = 13 kills per battle. A 500 kills mission is more than 30 and less than 50 battles for most players. That is a lot more playing time in a week than most players play. (If holding a steady average of 5 MM battles per hours, one hour per day for seven days is 35 battles, which I am asserting is at least as many as most players will need for a 500 kills mission. Accordingly, a 500 kills mission is a 10 to 14 day effort for typical players. Two-weeks, not one.)

 

Tanki should include the "born" date (or "first activated date") for each player account. That would be cool, and it would allow Tanki to keep track of the account's birthday and provide a small gift each anniversary. It would allow us to know for sure when we started our accounts.

Thank you. It doesn't seem that long ago. I suppose being older alters my perceptions, and I'm not taking such into account. (Nor my year off from the game.)

 

Anyway, I assume you looked it up. How did you search? Where did you find it? I only looked a couple minutes in the forum for Patch notes. I had no indications of progress.

 

My suspicion was correct that Sarek was older than player profiles. I wouldn't be surprised if I had more hours with Sarek before profiles than since. I must have if my assertion about average kills per battle is correct.

 

My point remains, 500 kills is a hard one-week mission. It will require 10 to 14 days for most players.

 

BTW, now that I know the date, I found this: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=242832 It seems discussions on Vulcan date back to at least December 2014, but that is irrelevant to the point. Even at my age, I'm susceptible to distraction. 

 

I knew I could find it, but I thought it would take too long. (It would have. Thanks again.)

I know I'm pissing in the wind, but I gotta try saying again:

 

1500 points in a specified battle mode. I got lucky and one other was the same mode, and the third was not mode specific. So, I only needed seven battles. 7 for the hard one, and the other two accomplished during those seven. Seven battles? One daily mission requiring seven battles? Of course, finish seven battles takes seven battles. Isn't that a bit much for most players? Is the objective to play favorites?

 

For weekly, 10,000 points in battle. In DM, one kill is 10 points, so 1000 kills. Wow. If my argument of a 12-kills per MM battle is valid, that would take 80 battles. Of course, in DM, kill average will be higher, but that still requires 1000 kills. In other battle modes where I can get points in addition to kills, I'm a little faster, but but the fact remains, a 10,000 points mission is going to take more than one week for all but the most dedicated players.

 

Daily missions that take two to seven battles each, and weekly missions that take 10 to 15 days. Hmm... It just ain't right.

 

Franky, most days, I do not have time to play more than three or four battles. Missions are now dreaded rather than anticipated.

well i decide, INSTEAD of quieting the game, i'm gonna just finish easiest mission only per day and get reward in 20 days,.... i don't feel like enjoying the game any more.

These missions are Too much effort for nothing

I already quit with this account, jut too much greif and everything relying on sheer dumb luck.  The game in the higher ranks (maybe not M4 land) has just turned to luck mush.  IF you get put on the winning team..IF you get a do-able mission...IF the rank brackets don't place you seven ranks below everyone else...IF the game doesn't crash...IF you don't lose 75% of your team as the game plays out....IF you are using suitable equipment for the map you are tossed into...IF you are tossed into a full game instead of the last two minutes...IF you are not pitted against Big Bickie Barry the Big Bucks Buyer...If the opposition doesn't have maniac druggers all replete with drones...IF...IF...IF.  It has turned into 50% luck 40% equipment and 10% skill.  I liked it much better when it was 70% skill, 20% equipment, and 10% luck.

 

I still play Tanki, but in lower ranks.  I have found the missions get ridiculous at rank 10.  At rank 9 and below the missions are pretty easy to do and generate enough income to stay competitive...maybe even excel if you hit a lucky container.  I just started a newbie account and will discar it at level 10...I'm trying to get better with a RailGun in my newbie acct.

After I wrote this I went back and played a couple of battles with a higher ranked acct.  I haven't played in a few days.  This game is gone.  It's not even close to fun.  I played because I was in the habit of playing.  The game is broken.  It's to ADHD oriented and too much luck.    I want to live long enough to make some sort of strategy, get to know my team and the opponents strengths and weaknesses.  Tanki will not die because of promotions, mobile, 9 year old appeal, and whatever little trick they pull out of their hat, but the game is trash now.  It's a child's game only....their is not enough time in the upper ranks to even consider waht to do in a battle, all you can do is spawn in with guns blazing. 

 

The lower ranks are still kind of fun since they are a bit slower but even those are marginal.  AND, what is the point of working with a lower rank account if it is just going to turn into crap battles eventually?    I would guess my days with Tanki are numbered...what a shame to have lost omething that used to be so much fun.
