New alterations coming October 31st

You need to rank up higher to unlock the other alts. Alts are no longer limited by modification of the equipment, but now by rank.

Well i have tried it but center green box is locked anf i dont know why......................... maybe i need M1 but on wiki is written that for minus field i need rank so i dont know

Hi! Do you already have the alteration? And make sure you have Rico equipped when you press the green box :)

Why i cant use alteration on M0 ricochet? I have rank for it.

It still is locked on equipment rank . Im 100% sure since im high enough to be able to purchase all equipment possible . However , for ex smoky in my garage is m0 and i cannot choose any alt for it .

They should put it in the wiki also , this rank and this Mx grade it unlocks .

And it's Tanki's fault the enemy is using their brains?

Rest of the team?  Chasing gold boxes as they normally do.

It is Tanki's fault to present OP turrets, alts and what ever which ruin the balance of the game.

Yep. my strategy was to leave the battle. It worked well, No waste of time there. Agree on that.

You expected to win a 2v1 with Smoky/wasp.... seriously? I'm questioning your logic.

I had the battle with my Commander account.  Often most of the other players are legends1 - legends30.

Most of the time I'm on top 3.

The problem wasn't the turrets.  The problem was your team.  You did the correct action (exit) but for the incorrect stated reason.

Isida+Vulcan is a tough challenge. Almost as tough as Isida+Isida, the dreaded ‘Isida train’.

 

If you are the only attacker, you’re not going to win. Your only hope is to avoid detection and attack from the rear, killing the Isida, then killing the supported tank before either of them can turn around and respond.

 

Doesn’t always work, but it can. Alternately, you can act as a decoy, drawing the attention of the enemy group while a team mate sneaks in and disables the Isida. But the point stands, you have to take care of the rear Isida first.

 

Back to the decoy point for a moment. Tanki players are notoriously short sighted and easily distracted. Give them a target and they will shoot at it. When you have one of those Finish on a Winning Team missions, start chatting with your team mates. Agree that a few of you run decoy routes, taking enemy fire off of flag bearers, ball-holders, point cappers, etc. You’d be surprised how well it works.

I agree with 99% of it.

problem is... you are also competing with team-mates when you have finish Top-3... since there's 5 others who won't qualify.

 

I can just see it...

 

Tom - you run as decoy (and get no kill and get destroyed) while I sneak around and take them out (getting score for kills)

Bill - Heck no!  You run as decoy and I'll get the kill

 

Some of these missions just don't promote team co-operation...

My mistake, i meant decrease supply activation time by 2 seconds every time one pellet is fired so these drugging kids never die.

Duplet is too weak.

I thought about that as I was typing my earlier post. The Finish Top 3 mission is a good idea, but if too many players in a battle have the same mission, the result is chaos and squabbling in team battles. Since that’s one of the choices for the Weekly Floater mission, that chaos has become reality.

 

For the Decoy approach to work, there definitely has to be a gentlemen’s agreement between the players that the decoy role is to be swapped. I haven’t tried this in battle yet, but it might be worth a go to suggest swapping in team chat and see who agrees. As the suggester, I would volunteer to be the decoy first.

 

But the Decoy does not necessarily get no score. Decoy should also be attacking, potentially getting more kills than the ball/flag carrier since the latter will spend their time slogging to the capture point and maybe not making it. I can definitely attest to getting very good score and rewards, maybe not first place but still in the top three, just by being an aggressive offensive attacker while not capping or scoring goals.

 

And am I misremembering or does Tanki give more score to kills made close to the flag or point?

There is a mistake in the crystal costs of Hammer's "Dragon Breath" and "High capacity ammo clip" alterations. 

 

Dragon Breath's cost on the Wiki says it's 100k but it is actually 35k in game. 

 

High Capacity Ammo Clip's cost on the Wiki says it's 35k but it's actually 60k.

It's a good idea - but I have strong doubts about co-operation when it comes to random players - half of whom don't speak same language.

 

I don't recall anything about more score for kills based on map location.  Seen some suggestions in Ideas section, but never heard there was anything implemented.

whenever i use high pressure pump for firebird i cannot cause burning... is this a bug or a new feature they didn't announce?

Does this still happen? And does it happen all the time or on certain occasions?

Once again developers/t.o.     thanks alot for ruining this game with these damn alts. Smokey should be just that. Not fire/freeze. I mu modules for alot of turrets. Looks like it was a waste of time. Wish I could attend just one of your get togethers. Tell you to your face what a load of crap..............

The plasmagun alteration for ricochet needs a huge buff, like changing the projectile speed from -75% to -50% or -25%. as of now with ricochet m3 it is literally impossible to hit anyone who is moving laterally.  If you're going to nerf the damage for this alteration, then you shouldn't nerf the projectile speed too.  This alteration is nearly unplayable and certainly not worth 120k, so please fix it.

I partially disagree. When you use that alt, you have to completely change your gameplay style due to the projectile speed. Save your shots and don't waste them on targets that are moving fast or are far away. Get right up to the enemy tank and quickly shoot them at zero range. You have to remember that to be effective you have to operate at a close range than even Firebird or Freeze.

 

However, I do agree that it needs some improvement. I don't find the projectile speed to be a problem - that's an intended disadvantage. What's far worse is that after one or two kills you are already out of energy, so you either have to die and respawn, or sit behind cover for 30 seconds, waiting for the fuel tank to refill. And that's really frustrating and counter-intuitive to the game's fast dynamic. A faster reload would be nice.

 

As for the price - alterations are priced not by how powerful they are (because they're not meant to make the turret more powerful), but by how interesting their mechanics are and how much they alter (pun intended) the turret's gameplay. IMHO, this alteration is very interesting and definitely worth the 120k.

IF SMOKY AND HAMMER HAVE FREEZE effect and fire effect...WHY dont add smoky and hammer efecct to freeze….

 

i think if you buy smoky you have to have smoky atl...

 

only say that….very upset about thar….sorry
