Are there any uses of dictator currently?

• Slow and hard to maneuver well
• Easy target (enemies prioritize you)
• Bumps into everyone and everything
• Worst of the medium hulls
• Can't even hit things ramming the side
• Overdrive is a disappointment

Pros

• Good for golds I guess
• ??????????????????

 

If there are any pros please tell me, because I have dictator m2 right now and am debating between using that or viking m1, because viking is faster and health difference is minimal.

to me it seems nearly impossible to knock off its aim whereas my hunter gets thrown around often.

Dictator has the stability advantage over Viking, which is huge. Which means it's very good with the likes of thunder, railgun, shaft, smoky, hammer, striker, and magnum. Basically any turret that deals a good amount of burst damage quickly.

 

Dictator is also the tallest hull in the game which means it can shoot over non dictator teammates.

 

It can also rock, allowing you to practically increase your vertical auto aim in that moment.

 

 

If you ask me, Viking is the worst medium hull in the game. It's low, it's unstable, and it can't rock as well.

Dictator has very nice power to weight ratio . Its slowest of the medium hulls yes , but hes a very good pusher  and stays on target . Less versatile like hunter , but rock solid .

Turret is mounted on the rear, which makes it a good peek-a-boo hull as long as you don't forget which way to go to duck under cover. I have Shaft/Dictator on one of my other accounts. When I'm playing peek-a-boo and want to duck behind cover, I forget to drive forwards and drive backwards instead, resulting in me getting blown to smithereens.

 

On this account I have Viking M2 which I use with Firebird. Viking is very maneuverable and better balanced, which means less chance of flipping when jumping from high places and running off the side of ramps. Sometimes when I'm in a hurry, I miss half the ramp leaving only one tread on solid ground, but because of Vikings balance, it doesn't flip on its side.

Viking is the lowest and fastest medium hull and that makes it great with turrets like Fire, Freeze, Isida, Twins, Rico and Vulcan. Hull-swinging with these turrets is pointless and contraproductive.

 

Hunter is the jack of all trades. It is fast enough to be used with Twins, Rico and Hammer and high enough to hull-swing with Thunder and Smoky. Its height is perfect.

 

Dictator is too high and too slow for close and medium range combat. The only advantage of Dictator is the turret position which makes it great for skilled snipers. Rail is the ideal turret for Dictator. Do NOT use it with Fire, Freeze and Isida.

The thing is the ugliest cluster of pixels I've ever seen in this game. But the higher turret placement is nice for Striker. I will buy this hull this christmas, even though I have to resist the possible puke reflexes.

Pros:

 

Silky smooth handling

No drifting

Can rock back and forth giving greater reach with railgun

Has the power to push mammoth and titan out of the way

Large surface area displays paints better than other tanks

Height means you can shoot twins above the level of other tanks

Dictator is stable in the fact that it is hard to knock off its aim. Viking just spins all over the place.

Well the test server experience was quite promising, I could sail missiles over team mates.

 

Indeed it's not fast though and not nimble either. I don't have any other reason to buy it other than golds and for Striker.

Dunno, Viking used to be and still is the best choice for any type of player, it's got the speed, hp and maneuverability.

This is a Shaft/Dictator combo. Since this is a non-buyers account, I've put most of my crystals into it. Shaft doesn't break a fall.

It could be used as a scarecrow maybe cause of its large and intimidating size, or as a towing truck cause it's heavy, or as a ride in an amusement park because why not.

People only use it now if they are gold hunting or it's the highest M Tier hull they have, I know that's what I did when I git the Voltage kit and then Hunter M2
