Petition to let us keep our shot colors

So now I'm required to spend money on the game to get back the feature of having a golden railgun. That's stupid. 

 

 

We should all retain the original colors, but we have to earn the newest colors.

I agree, or better yet, when we obtain a turret at a certain modification, we get to keep that shot color forever. Like for example, if I bought m0 railgun, then m1, then m2, and finally m3, then I should have the choice of: blue, light blue, purple, and gold to choose from. Same with the other turrets.

I just want a feature that I have rightfully earned. I would rather take a firebird nerf at this point tbh.

Well, if the developers think that selling "stupid" shot colors is important enough to make a huge update about it, I think it's justified that we go crazy over it.

That's because the complaint book is ignored by mods (except when merging topics into it) and especially devs (they don't care about their players)

I wouldn't say that we "earned" them. More like they were just given to us. If it would have always been like this and we'd never know any better, then there wouldn't be any problems or complaints. Honestly, it's just a change of colour for your turrets - no need to turn it into such a big deal.

It's a big deal for those who played for a long time. Besides it's hard for example to tell the difference between an m1 railgun and an m2 railgun especially when they have the metallic paint on. The damage difference between the two are small, so is the textures.

 

 

Also, the green balls of twins are now the default color, devaluing them when before they were available at m3.

 

Different colors for different modifications of a turret made the player who's been playing for a while stand out.

Haven't you figured out that the complaint book itself is a stupid idea? The admins don't take the complaint book seriously, complaints are never dealt with, and if you do actually post a complaint, in 2 hours, your complaint will be lost, never to be found again through the thousands of complaints.

Part of the excitement of upgrading into a new modification was the color change that indicated your turret is progressing into a more dangerous device or something.

 

Now that is taken away... what's next? Taking away the appearance of an M3 turret and giving everyone an M0 turret appearance while adding the M3 ones into containers just like everything else......why not just add this whole game into containers.

I'm just glad that devs are expanding the game's cosmetics to generate revenue from them, rather than adding more P2W features. In the end if's just a shot colour, so I really don't care what it looks like as long as the tank still functions the same.

But it IS a big deal for players, and people are complaining (this is not a question about should or shouldn't). The update was an obvious push for money making reasons, and if it isn't a big deal for players, then what's the point of the update? Are the developers expecting to make money off of a feature that players don't care about?

But no, this is just my personal opinion. While I would obviously prefer to have the new colours get unlocked with new modifications, I fully understand and support the reasoning for this update.
