So if we took away some of your XTs or maybe that Frost paint you had, and made you pay for it again just because we are introducing a next line of "Frost" paints, you would be completely fine?

 

XTs and paints are different, because I specifically bought them in order to change my tank's texture. When I bought a new turret modification, the new shot colour was just a nice side effect, so I don't care if it gets changed or removed.

For you yes, but not for many of your company's players. In addition, the shot color came with modification so that's what we payed for when we bought the modification. Just like you pay for color when buy the paint, we payed for upgrades + color when we bought the modification. Therefore, we should keep the color.

I'm not saying the update is pointless. I'm saying it's absurd that players are making such a big deal out of their M3 colours being removed when they're just a cosmetic feature.

Developers could have handle this perfectly by adding extra shot effects to the shop and containers, and leave the old ones as free by upgrading the modification levels for turrets. Everyone gonna be happy. 

 

Their greed will be back with opposite results, as many players feel like cheated by taking away their shot effects and force them to either play with M0 shot effects or buy containers to get them back.

well that's what they did to shaft... 

 

used to be yellow for m0-m2 and red was only for m3 but now it's red for all... 

 

and tbh i hate it. every time i shoot an enemy, for a split second, i mistakenly think that i killed him... because I'm used to using the red damage indicators to mark a kill... so when i shoot an approaching firebird I see red and stop backing away... and then i realize that he's still alive and have to start acceleratingf again.

It just makes me cringe seeing the blue shot color from railgun at m2 ranks and higher.

 

Twins green balls, shafts red shots, and I think isidas green and red beams are now devalued since all modifications have them.

 

Rico's orange balls got devalued at m0 ranks and just lame at m2 ranks and higher.

It is also worth to question/wonder about the financial balance of the company. How much money are they collecting. How the revenue has evolved since the creation of the company. How much does cost the maintenance of servers. How is the revenue divided, distributed, and used. 

 

I have been thinking that this whole system that incite people to pay money for purchasing different levels of hulls, turrets, paints; supplies, (and micro upgrades since a few years) was already letting the company to generate a huge amount of money.

 

Indeed, I have not made any concrete research, neither discussed about this theme with a person who worked in that place. However it seems logic from my point of view, that at first, we should adopt a stance of questioning, whenever they make a decision that goes into the orientation of increasing revenue. 

Do they really need an increase of revenue ? Couldn't they have introduced new "cosmetic" and pay attention to avoid making an absurd situation, at the same time ?

This is unacceptable. I have been playing since 2012 and I can confirm that railgun's, twin's, and isida's (My favorite 3 m3s) value was increased by the smooth golden color, green balls and bright red beam. I expect TO to give us back our old colors because this feature is pure BS

3. if not, pls go to the shop and purchase as many containers as you please, until you receive the drivers license!

I don't know how you all are going crazy for some stupid SHOT COLORS.

Cus cosmetics matter. And you don't have a problem with the shaft color because that's an upgrade lol.
