Fart Pump weapon behind Hulls

No. There is no problem. Even if you drive backwards, the pump does not become a front weapon. In terms of physical motion, the pump would appear as a front weapon but in theory, it is a back weapon.

There's one problem:

What if you drive backwards?

Does it become a front facing weapon then?

If so, then those that can't drive backwards will be at a disadvantage, right?

Yeah, it would be just like Juggernaut's exhaust. When you accelerate both ways (forward and backward), it still produces exhaust.

Now that's one way to defy logic. OOF

Actually it's pretty logical to me, you just need to keep up with the best of us. ;)

Let me put it in other words, visually the exhaust pipe would in front when you're driving backwards, but in theory and practice the combustion fart would come from behind. Like what someone said about Jug.

Yes, Tanki logic.

Exactly.

The fart would be like a compressed combustion smoke, maybe we can call it Compressed Smoke by a Smoke Compressor and it can be incorporated to all tanks, its use would be like a smoke screen and there could be smoke of different colors and sound effects.

One of the sounds could be recorded with the help RIDDLER_8 and a bowl of beans' soup.

Maybe it would be more visually understood if the smoke came from a stack pointing straight up, like that on a semi. When the semi is going forward, the exhaust is blowing behind the cab. But when the semi is going backwards, the exhaust is in front of the cab.

Still sounds confusing.

Imagine a car with black exhaust coming out the back. When going forward, the exhaust is behind the car. If the car is going backwards, the exhaust is going under the car and around the car. When it gets to the front of the car, most of it has dissipated and no longer a smoke screen.

I clearly understand what you are talking about here. You mean a self rotating exhaust pipe that automatically points to the direction you're driving? Well, that would be like the auto-rotate turret from the tank in GTA San Andreas.

You're right. A compressed combustion smoke system could be fitted to all tanks, but all tanks would still need to be able to equip or unequip an exhaust pipe behind the compressed combustion smoke system.

My opinion, I don't quite like the idea. But Goodluck.

Mainly because I don't want the game screen go messy. A bunch of tanks leaving their waste, where ever they like. The game screen if laggs, I can't talk much about how much weird it would look. I don't play TX for the same reason. It has too much going on, on the screen. So many details etc, that I do not like. Personal opinion, if you are gonna implement smfin as this, add a disable option. Thanks. No offense.

If my opinion is not relevant to the discussion going on, excuse me from this because, am aazy reader sometimes igs.

Hummm...Noise pollution, toxic smoke pollution, odor pollution (methane gas...fart). We already have global pollution from these factors, even the cows have been blamed. Now you want to do the same to Tanki battlefields? Where does it all end?

No you don't understand what he means, apparently.

You have a good point, it would look weird for smoke coming from the opposite side of where the exhaust pipe is. Unlees there was 2 exhaust pipes one in front and one on the back. Maybe even not be exhaust pipes, just smoke pipes.

Oh! I get it! There's a bonfire burning inside the tank with exhaust fans pulling the smoke into the smoke pipes. Yeah, okay. I'm just pulling your leg, jabbing you in the ribs, having some fun at your expense. No harm here.  :D

Riddler's idea is very good if we remove the fart and exhaust parts.

It could just be two pumps or compressed tanks that blow smoke screens of different colors, one in front and one in back, and different sound effects.

If you don't think of it as a hull's feature, but as a secondary mode of the turret, then the turret always shot forward and the fart gun backwards.

No matter, where you point your hull to.

If it is really ment as a hulls feature, then you could manage (doable) to have your turret and your fart-gun point the same way.. which would increase the damage output onto a single target.. which would lead to shorter kill times.. which would surely interfere with the games balance..

This pump is not supposed to change or buff any attributes of turrets. Instead, it is a secondary weapon that only faces behind hulls all the time. The pump can be equipped or removed by players and can be used on any hull. The purpose of this pump is to have self-defence when being attacked from behind. Many times, I face battle situations where I get attacked and slaughtered by Isidas, Freezes and Firebird from behind and I am defenceless because I tend to mostly attack enemies in from of me. So by having a pump as a secondary weapon I could independently kill enemies on my butt as well as enemies in front of me. I would use the pump for rear attacks and a turret for front attacks.

Hummm...so this pump is more than just a smoke screen. You are suggesting toxic smoke. In the realm of virtual possibilities, how will the toxic smoke affect the enemy tank?

Yes, I am suggesting a toxic smoke pump. The effect would not be a smoke screen like you imagine because making your screen completely black is not the point. The purpose of this pump is to spray black ink in a spray jet motion like Firebird and Freeze does. The area of effect would be applicable in the range of the turret.

Excatly right, it's alredy like this with shot colors, bunch of skins and drones of course

Yeah, that's right. Shot colors can be added to make ink more cool and fascinating when firing the pump. Also, it would be a great idea to add different sound effects. However, the default sound effect must be the "fart sound". There is nothing wrong with that!

If you put it that way (a rear pump can kill), then it is OP. Maybe to balance that out, the pump is a module that takes up a slot (or even two slots).

It would not make sense to have the pump as a module. I prefer it to be a weapon which is used for back defence. The pump is not overpowered. It is fine because it does not interact with other turrets.
