Trade in 1000 crystals for 1 gold box

Recommended Posts

1 gold box = 1000 crystals.

We should be able to spend 1000 crystals to receive 1 gold box supply.

Although the ability to drop the 1000 crystals for other players potentially makes the gold box supply worth somewhat more than 1000 crystals, the fact that there is an extremely low chance that you will end up catching the gold box you dropped should cancel that out and bring the value to a final 1000 crystals.

If you think that people will begin abusing this feature to increase their gold box stat on their profile, you really shouldn't care because the gold box stat is already meaningless and people are already doing this (using real money for now of course) to boost their gold count. Anyways, if you are extremely butthurt about this, you can simply make another update where gold boxes caught count only increases in MMS (this will probably be unpopular amongst the players though)

Declined

Sorry, but as you noted yourself, gold boxes have a much higher value then just 1000 crystals. It is something a player can drop, do something good to others, receive a lot of "wow"s and "thanks"s from many participants.

Besides this would open up the chance to transfer free earned ingame goods from one account to the other without spending money.. and this is like a coffin nail for the games economy, and would most likely also mean a reduction of future discounts. Not even starting about the beggars, who will pop out like mushrooms after the rain..

Stupid enough so that for an entire day last year on Black Friday, black boxes falling every second in MMS battles went undetected and was finally noticed about 20 minutes before the server update and corrected.

Actually it lasted for only about two hours and was corrected after around four hours of maintenance - along with the reverting of everyone's garages to their pre-goldbox rain state. Programming errors are generally not a result of stupidity.
