Yeah - The XT's is only a cosmetic feature, it does not give you an advantage in-game in any way, it is only for looks.

Nope, now it is a skin that fit any M level.

As a cosmetic skin it doesn't affect the parameter of your equipment.

I think for those who don't want to no life this game for the challenges, but still play MM just to complete missions, the double funds should stay until the challenges are over.

If you think about it - We had challenges to make 1000 stars for a special paint, such as barbed wire paint or synth-pop and people were not complaining at all but it was only for the paint? Why are people fussing about this challenge? The rewards are great and definitely worth it. I have never went for those 1000 stars just to get a paint whereas will end up in the container and I did get Radioacative Jelly paint in the container whilst people were playing non-stop to get it.

You need 1400 Stars

 

If you'd only earn 3 Stars in battles, you'd need 467 battles. This means 20 battles a day. About 2.6 hours every day.

if you'd only earn 2 Stars in battles, you'd need 700 battles. This means 30 battles a day. About 4 hours every day.

If you'd only earn 1 Star in battles, you'd need 1400 battles. This means 59 battles a day. About 7.9 hours every day.

 

I don't know how good you are in battles, but I'm thinking 5 to 6 hours everyday.

 

I was wrong when I said Battle Pass could help you, no, it's Premium account that doubles the numbers of Stars. Battle Pass would give you the Hunter XT, for Tier 50, and more rewards.

I don't know what everyone else's reasons are. But I've been criticizing even star week events from day one. And that one reason is that it messes up the game balance, and here's why:

 

Yes, it does bring in more players, but most of these extra players are either exploiters or even hackers.

 

Hackers aren't much of a problem, because they can be easily caught. Exploiters on the other hand will just be dismissed by the battle mods as "not doing anything wrong". These exploiters can be found in team battles.

Your post at #413 is exactly why Diesel & I dislike these "star events" - regardless of how long they last or what is offered.

 

I play mostly to have a good time and I won't be "no-lifing" it ever. 

So the players like you that just come into CP & CTF and end up playing TDM kind of makes a mockery of the mode.

It explains why I start a CTF battle and 4-5 of my team are campers that don't leave the base.  0-0 is final score. <_<

 

How many containers have you acquired from all the Tiers?  Getting that paint from the # of containers you garnered is pure luck.

Someone doing exact same thing you did could easily have a useless Soccer paint or another 125 SB to add onto the 12,500 already acquired.

Playing all team modes as TDM is like grinding, and it frustrates other players that want to play these modes as these were intended to be played. But I don't blame these players, I blame Tanki for encourging this with how Challenge is setup and with Finish Top 3 missions.

Once again, the fraudulant Stars Threshold. Ricosck just completed a full flag battle, but the other team got so far ahead Ricosck and four other players on our team received no Stars. None! It was a good faith effort and we were cheated! Get a better system.

Assuming the deceptively named "activity" requirement is actually 90 points, Ricosck missed by 5. No Stars for you and the other four under 90!

 

It was a good faith effort. I was active. Ask the two Strikers who were obviously a team. Ask their Shaft overwatch and the Isidas.

 

X-O, the Freeze and I were all that stopped them from getting all 7 flags. If I'd have hung back and not took so many Striker rockets, with my 42% protection from them, I might have gotten my Stars, and the battle might have been over in half the time. Good deal? No. It is not.

Premium allow you to earn stars twice as fast (just like the Easy Stars Pass used to do). Let's assume you have reach top of the score board at the end of the battle, then you would have earned 3 stars as a normal player, plus 3 additional stars with the premium, totalling 6 stars. The 6 stars will be shown on the scoreboard (not 3). The 6 stars would be then added to the overall start counter on the top bar.

The Battle Pass doesnt boost the number of stars earned, so you would only get 6.

It doesn't matter because the Battle pass does not increase the number of stars you earn in a battle. Only Premium does that. 

 

So in the scenario you described above, you would still get up to 6 stars each battle.

The premium influences the amount of star you get from battles.

The increasing number of stars unlock new tiers.

The battle pass influences the rewards you get per tiers. No pass = standard rewards. Battle pass = additional rewards.

If you bought the battle pass first and then Premium - You would still get 6 stars each battle if you became first/second place. If you're playing without premium but have battle pass - you'd get better rewards but receive less stars - 3/2 stars each battle.
