Which turret do you hate being killed by the most?

ooooh look at this guy. not going for thunder and hammer just bcs he uses those himself -___-

Well, yeah :D

I like these turrets and I respect opponents who use them. Also, Thunder and Hammer are actually OK to fight against when using Wasp. But with Rico and Twins it's just a massive pain because of their knockback, while Isida is just a lame turret that requires little to no skill.

Isida by far. Once it latches onto you, there's little chance of surviving. Firebird is far easier to defeat in my experience.

Isida is my go to, for most battles, I have used it by far longer than others with exception of shaft. 

 

 

I do not like Magnum, it is literally a 1 shot cannon that kills you instantly if they are close enough. Other than magnum twins are annoying

These days, I hate being randomly one-shotted by an LCR Railgun when I have 39% protection on. I also hate that my medium hull can be randomly one-shotted by a Supercumulative Smoky's critical hit.

Yeah, in the M1/2 ranks though. Coming up to M3 and 4, it can't one-shot them. In the lower tiers, an M0 Smoky can one-shot an M0 heavy hull with that. 

 

If your Smoky is M1 10/10 at a very low rank, then with a drone, you can increase that number slowly and be able to one-shot medium hulls efficiently.

My Smokies (all M1/10) will do almost 2300 damage with Supercumulative + DD, will one-shot unprotected M1 medium hulls unless they are fully MU'd

 

Gauss is less annoying now that I've got some (18%) protection against it

 

But I still think there's a special place in Hell for Rails. The skilled ones just don't miss.

Since this topic suddenly came back to life, I realized it's better to update the chart again.

 

  • Gauss is now included.
  • Votes for Hammer have leveled off, most likely because of the duplet nerfs.
  • Railgun is being chosen more often, and I can see why; Hornet's overdrive works in synergy with Railgun's higher damage alterations like LCR and RD.

After two years of being in the game, Magnum still remains an annoying turret.  

 

Shaft's sniper shots, in my opinion, have always been more irritating than the arcade shots. The RFM alteration just made me hate encountering them up-close.

 

Hulls too :mellow:

You mean the overdrives right? That's a good idea.

 

I think it's better if that could be left for a separate topic, so as to keep this one a little less general and more limited to a certain aspect of the game.

They sold them to Hazel. He uses them to stay young.

Shafts, taking out 95% of my hp even with a 35%+ module on.

LOL same even I am one myself. But hey, want to team with me?

 

The best way 4 me to counter Shaft is being one yourself or/and wear Eagle module. 

 

Circle strafe and spam arcade shots did help me win Shaft vs Shaft effectively. But that strong drift from Hornet sometime makes me miss a shot. This will make a difference of live or death.

 

TBH camper Shafts who use Heavy Capacitor is actually easier to deal if you can outrun his/her sniper rotation speed.

 

I am upgrading my Eagle. In a speed of a slow turtle. But right now, it provides 43% defence. Good enough.

Why did you cut out the rails part from my post? I don't have eagle m3 (yet)... :( I mostly get ohko'd except for the rare times they forget they ran out of DD and are in cooldown.

I like Rail, that's why. You will get M3 Eagle eventually though.  :)

 

And let's hunt down Shafts :ph34r:. No double-crossing me plz. 

 

I remember one time when I slapped a Shaft was like....

 

That dude (did not have Eagle) :"Dude why ya killed me?! We have the same turrets!" :angry:

 

Me: "Um.... it's called survival of the fittest within a group." :rolleyes:

I honestly love when I move around the rear of the other team with Shaft, sniping their carriers and stuff. If you see me in battle, look back, not forward :)
