Declined Add a feature to add custom maps for PRO battles!

Introduction:

I recently downloaded AlternativaEditor and loved it! And I just sticked into map-making. But here's the problem that I figured.

 

Problem:

As we make maps and then test them in Tank-Testing-Tools, and finally send them to developers once maps are completed! Right? But only 1 from 1000 of maps get accepted! So there's almost no chance that it can be added in Tanki easily! Right?

Solution:

Add a feature to add our custom maps for only playable in PRO battles! Easy one! Right?

How it Works:

As we finish creating our map, we must put that file (.xml) into Tanki Online folder. After that we must open Tanki and it will load all the maps found in the folder. When we create the battle with our custom map then that map should be uploaded to the server. When someone enters the battle, the map should be downloaded to his PC so he can play the battle!

 

Pros:

• Everyone can easily make maps and then play it in Tanki
• More players will make maps.
• There would be a lot of new maps to play in.

Cons:

• Servers can be overloaded.

Solution:

Any user created map should be deleted automatically after inactivity of particular time. All user-created maps should be kept on other servers which are not in use (probably some test-servers).

Unfortunately, developers will never do this and it is one of the things that even I can guarantee that it won't happen. A similar but different idea was suggested before, you can find the link in here.

Hazel did say in the far future that he would make a new map editor and devs might start taking player made maps again... but the latter is super unlikely.

Or cluster all the spawn points in one small area or map with many players for easy and fast kills for firebird.

Viking would be more difficult to get a lock on.   First lock-on much better chance of "winning".
