What positive things do you want to see in Tanki Online?

Yeah, we need new maps in mm but personally I like archipelago.

For 2021...I would like to see.....

  • A major rework of the game's balance.
    • Nerf overpowered Alterations (examples include Gauss' EMP Salvo, Hammer's High Capacity Ammo, Magnum's Mortar)
    • Nerf Hull Augments / Remove them entirely / Make them easy to obtain for all players
    • Nerf Gauss 
    • Nerf Hopper
    • Buff Freeze
    • If Hull Augments are staying, buff Firebird
    • Isida rework (perhaps revert it to the 2018 version and turn the current version into an Alteration that increases damage but reduces healing)
      • The turret lacks utility nowadays unless you buy the support nanorobots alteration....in which you lack offensive power.
    • Titan's Overdrive nerf / rework
  • A new Turret(s)
    • Tesla :D
  • Clan improvements
    • Make a 40 dollar clan actually worth its 40 dollar cost
    • Make it fairly easier for players to join their desired clan
  • New Game Mode
  • Quality of life changes to the HTML5 interface
  • Optimization of the Android version so that I can actually play it on my phone without a lag spike happening every 3 seconds.
  • Pro Battle Improvements
  • Quality of life changes to daily and weekly missions

Agree with a lot ... but...

- don't know what you mean by 2018 Isida

- nerf Titan OD?  wow.  It's countered by 6 ODs plus the AP turret augment.  What more do you want?

He probably means that it had both good damage and good healing per second, agreeing with him, unfortunately support nanobots makes the turret absolutely useless in the attacking mode.

The healing mode still sucks, unless you use Double Damage, 200/tick is still pathetic and most of the times your teammate will die under huge DPS weapons or guns that deal 5000 in a single shot.

10 seconds of energy is also very poor, i often find myself without ammo way too quickly, without having done anything at all

I'd suggest to buff the support nanobots augment however, something like +200% healing and -25% damage, that should do it.

I meant the Isida that had a higher healing than current Isida.....and it's damage wasn't as high as current Isida....like @simofigooo said.

I was thinking of more like a rework for Siege mode.


In Siege, Titan determines which team wins or loses. The team with more Titans is much more likely to win.

Of course, this doesn't happen in the lower ranks, as in those ranks, people tend to camp rather than attack the point....

But around Brigadier-Legend, it's basically just shield-spamming. Most of the time, the team with more shields will win.

This is 1 map.

Titans overdrive should only be countered by 1 specific hull/overdrive. (Which would be fair)

Does not matter which hull it is, it should be the only one. Now that would need good tactics by at least a couple of players to get the better of the titan.

Titan is a heavy slow hull, it's only defence is it's HP, which in today's TO counts for nothing. EMP gauss/ AP alts spring to mind, along with the inevitable couple of flying hacks.

What is the point of having a shield that can be undone by any amount of counters, stops becoming a shield really and more a big target sign. 

When i see a few titans (in siege) protecting each other with their shields, and maybe backed up by a isida, i call that smart playing. Does not matter if i am on the other team (yes it's annoying) for the enemy, and unless we pull together, those titans will indeed dominate that siege battle.

All in all poor titan is just a lumbering piece of metal, and unless that particular player is camping and in a good team, not much use at all compared to most hulls and all the OP combos that can take it out quite easily.

We all no what needs to be done to improve TO. The devs have got to start acting on player feedback, are this forum and all the various topics, and hundreds of posts will be a complete waste of time.

Where are the Hunters?

I think part of the problem is that so many players use Viking - and I don't understand why?  Many players are so stubborn and just stick with viking - then complain they can't kill the Titan.  Or don't even try and just kill players on the outside - not even those trying to cap.

I am a Hunter.
And it's hard to survive the firepower of 5 enemies shooting at you altogether.

Only when I'm backed up by at least 2 or 3 other teammates, or if the map allows me to dive-bomb into the point from above, do I get the chance to easily disable the shields. 

But you're right. There's barely any Hunters in Siege.

What do you expect if it's 5 vs 1?

Of course you need help - just like the Titan is getting help from 4 other tanks in your example.

 

I alternate between Hunter and Titan when I play Siege.  Not my fav mode so I only play it when I have a mission for that.

AP turret Augments, I agree with you it ruined the Titan's dome very much, really disgusting. But tbh, it terminated Hornet OD completely more than that it ruined the Titan's Dome.

And about strategy in Siege, Yes it requires a good strategy, and it's a nice strategy by Titan players, but wait wait!! is there any OD can do like this in Siege mode? Can I do the same with my Hunter OD?? Nope, the only Titan who can do that, so it's an OP here. It's such a thing we see with our eyes that Titan dominated such a mode, just you trying to wrap it into a sweet word by saying "strategy".

Titan has been underpowered in regards to HP for a long time now, what with all these new fangled OP alts/augments doing the rounds in battles.

Having only 1 hull being able to counter it will force players to combine their efforts to take it out, if they do not then they will die repeatedly, it's their choice to work together are not.

Whatever happens i'm sure the devs will make the right call.

Hopper isn't in our decision, many many times I criticized the Hopper and until now I criticize, no hull have before this OP of Hopper. While Titan, approximately I haven't criticized it before. So it's not a logical to put Hopper in our conversation while I'm not a Hopper user, and not defending about it.

Titan has been underpowered?? It seems you mean in 2012? before the Re-balance?? from 2013 until now Titan have approximately the HP of Mammoth, and as I remember in 2015 or 2016 it was the strongest tank in pushing others, that made it directly the most used hull in my old account https://imgur.com/DtUVFIB. Also with a HP of Mammoth, and faster in speed. Also before a while it has a healing character in the dome, so your recall that it was UP for a long time is something illogical

To be honest, Titan OD is something UP, as it have 6 counters. But it's a really OP if it haven't those counters, and the OD counters for Titan are also OD, that means it also have the right to fight the Dome. In fact every OD have a counter/s, Hunter can stun Viking while he use the OD, can also stun Hornet or Mammoth, true that didn't vanish the OD directly like Titan's dome, but the stunning took a huge time from the OD and mostly vanished it, also for Dictator, Hunter directly vanish the OD. Btw, I think also Hornet now is UP not just Titan, Viking is also something UP, Mammoth OD is such a useless most of the time, Ages crossed I haven't died from Mammoth OD.

And for last sentence, I hope you will see what's you wish

I think it could be or it should be because @Thiedes said he wants it as well.

Helpers also find this strange because they have still not added these into the game yet. 

So I'm guessing they have it as a top priority. (Or they should have it on the list!)
