Ideas for Matchmaking System!

In this topic, you can post ideas for any minor changes you wish to see in the MMS. Particularly ideas on how the MMS could be improved, what changes you need to see in there, etc. It will also be easier to report all ideas regarding the MMS to the developers since we have all the ideas related to them in 1 place.

Have the game rotate between maps on the official list

 

The creating a battle requiring a PRO battle pass update was supposed to bring less-used maps back into rotation as opposed to the meta and popularity dictating the map choices, but all it did was make them change hands. Now instead of Noise, Polygon, and Monte Carlo it's Silence, Year 2042, and Industrial Zone. What changed here? Sure, those are maps that weren't being played much, but it's the same as before but now it's restricted. So my solution? Have an official bi-weekly map rotation! Not only would this spice things up, but it would allow everyone to play on their favorite maps without having to buy a PRO battle pass and make a battle in them, then hope that people join.

Don't really see the point. Maps are all created with equal probability (and there's about 30 of them). Some maps simply stay longer because players like them and they join them more often than others.

I still find it stupid that the PRO pass is required to join the maps I like that are being played. It can be added to the list of solutions to things people complained about, along with supplies and parkouring in regular battles, I guess. 

The PRO battle pass shouldn't be the final solution to this. If I want to play a game of Monte Carlo and the TI-30 calculator in charge of creating battles doesn't agree with me, tough luck. A few thousand crystals a month every month and it's increasing in price. Enjoying myself in this game is becoming expensive.

Don't really see the point. Maps are all created with equal probability (and there's about 30 of them). Some maps simply stay longer because players like them and they join them more often than others.

There are 70 maps in total though, right?

How come I never see any of the following maps?

 

Subway

Chernobyl

Esplanade

Magistral

Probably removed from standard battles due to poor gameplay. Bit of a shame, really. All 4 of those are in my top 10 favourite maps list.

Honestly, I am tired of seeing the same battles over and over again. I was in a ping-pong CTF pro battle, very popular, but never see them outside of pro

Because people only play the current maps and the game keeps recycling them.

Non pro battle frequency

 

I feel there is a need to reduce rank brackets, to avoid instances of being fed into battles where you're 5 ranks below everyone else in the battle.  The bracket is a great idea in theory, but generally I think it is a failure.  Feed whoever you like into those battles, the lower ranks keep filtering out, they become a battle for maybe the top 2-3 ranks in that group and that's it.

 

I understand there a some who won't agree with this, but I think they'll be the noisy minority.

I think the server needs to open more battles, if the existing ones are reasonably full 75%+ for arguments sake, and the tank being slotted in is not a good match to the battle.  If you're being fed into battles that you're wildly outranked for you just become depressed cannon fodder.  So rather feeding you into this kind of scenario consistently, the server ought to open a new battle centred more around the players rank.

I merged your two ideas together as they both have a very similar final goal. Also, both ideas will most likely become completed/invalid once Matchmaking is fully released, since, as I'm sure you know, the battles will be created with a minimal rank bracket and expanded only if there aren't enough players to fill it quickly.

Group chat

 

 

A Group chat should be available when you start a Group. The Group chat should only be available for Group members. And close when you decide to leave the Group. Think of it like clan chat. I just wanted a place where me and the group could chat on tactics without having to flood the normal chat with messages.

As you can see in the screen up, when you press on "Share The Group" There will be a link that you copy and put in chat or other places such as discord, skype etc.

 

That will add more fun to groups and more fair in battles.

Option to choose multiple game modes

Most of you will ask why I removed the six modes them. Also, how the players have to go into specific modes?

 

In that picture, I've removed the six modes in order to make them in one place.

Also, I have added six options in the place of playing in regular battles

And they are DM, TDM, CTF, CP, ASL and RGB modes.

 

You can play in the modes you want by clicking on them

 

?But what is the advantages and disadvantages of this idea

 

.Advantages: You can save time while doing your mission

 For Example: You have 2 missions, 1 of them is to play in RGB mode and the other one is to play in CTF mode, so you will choose CTF + RGB

 

By this update you can chose both of them then play and the matchmaking system will make you enter CTF and when you finish the battle you will join RGB

 

Also, The matchmaking system will make you enter the mode that contains more battles first in order to save time will doing your missons

 

 

 

Disadvantages: For now, There is no Disadvantages
