Ideas for Matchmaking System!

very often I end up in a match where players are using defender|booster|*drones and they just go on play alone no sense of team at all. maps look really empty. I think increasing the number of players in medium maps, higher rank matches will make it more challenging similar to previous experiment and inspire team play.

I would like to have the "fog" graphic option back like in flash,its not a huge effect but a nice touch no doubt and on the bigger maps its pretty awesome and to add night mode in MM would be pretty sweet. Summer day and Winter day gets kinda dull toss in night mode to spice it up a little

From prior discussions, it has been made clear that deverlopers are not going to implement night-mode. On normal settings, the map appears to be too dark where entities and other structures are hard to observe, making it difficult and unpleasant for players to play in them. Plus, constant variation and rotation of light and dark maps may be disturbing for people. 
According to Maf, there's already been plenty of experiments carried out by other games/companies, which have shown that night themed maps with poor lighting are not favoured by players.

Esplanade is too big a map for MMS imo. It might be added but it’s likely that a majority of the battles which will be played there would end with the timer ending.

So, I think that the special modes with unique equipment combos is really cool, so i think  those should be more commonplace, like almost every weekend?

Tanks should stay in the battle after leaving

Hi guys, many times we see players leaving the battle when you about to kill them

This is a pretty old problem, in the past players when they about to leave they wait someone to swallow their health then leaving immediately before they died. That wasn't a big problem as it happens just once.

But now in nowadays, we see many players that just refreshing the page before you kill them, really disgusting. Especially with the easiness in HTML5 to refresh the page with keyboard shortcuts. Many players caring about their K/D with disgusting way, every time you're about to kill them, they leave. I thought they left!! but I noticed that they are back soon, they just refreshed the page.

Ok . There isn't any restriction or anything restrict them from that, it's a 100% free for them.

So I have a suggestion to punish them with a logical way. Every player after leaving the battle, the tank should be existed to the other players to kill him, so no one will get affected by his indiscretion. The kill should be counted in that player K/D. And to not affect the innocent players, this shouldn't be happen except if the player health was lesser than the 50%.

Even if my suggestion have rejected, I think they should do anything to restrict those players. But I think my idea is the best, because many players have problems in internet or PC lags, so if a punishment was by a temporary banned will hurt them. so I think making the tank exist is a logical.

Btw, lastly I have an advice for those players. Your K/D wont be a special or an indicator for your skills if you're caring about it intentionally.

Probably to get into one of those clans that require high K/Ds to join, or to break some world records lol.

The clans that require high K/Ds to join were prevalent back in 2017 and 2018, when clans were new and rare, but nowadays, there's a bunch of casual clans running around, it's not worth wasting your crystal/exp ratio just for a K/D.

The Matchmaking System should be re-evaluated by the Developers. I am seeing ranks MUCH higher than I should be when I am playing on lower accounts. 

For example. Third Lieutenant vs Field Marshal. I even posted a screenshot once as a Warrant Officer 5 finding a LEGEND in the Battle!

I don't care if Battles will start to take a little longer to load/start. But something must be done.

Currently, the Matchmaking system groups players together with similar ranks, but if there are not enough players, it expands the Rank Limit brackets. In my opinion, that completely breaks the game! It is so unuser-friendly for noobs and it is hard to progress through the middle ranks.

I'm suggesting that there should be a set maximum Rank Limit a player can face in Battles, and if the bracket extends too far, it stops looking for players out of the boundaries.

Also, with the addition of more players in the same match in Battles, it has ruined the flow of many medium maps and modes. Some Battles never have their objective completed or Battles end too fast. It feels way more chaotic than fun. MM doesn't even try to balance as it throws you in random teams.

Another thing that should be re-evaluated, is the TEAM BALANCE. It literally feels like the current MMs is just randomly throwing players into teams. I think it should check for player's GS. If a team feels weaker, throw a player with higher GS onto the team! There are so many Battles with the ridiculous amount of players in Battles that, again mentioning, some modes/maps are just completely ruined. *cough* ASL.

Many players are just leaving Battles. Suggesting that MM should be reworked with what I mentioned above.

 

If these are just MM bugs and would be fixed eventually, just ignore this topic.

I have an idea for map selection. Basically the idea is that you would be able to select the map to play in for the mode you're choosing. I know i'm not the only one who doesn't like all the maps. This would be an optional feature for people who like to play on specific maps. And if the stats show that one map is being played rarely then maybe change it? Please tell me your opinions.

Each turret-hull-alterations and maybe supplies using stats could be used for matchmaking by having their own values. The turret-hulls values could increase with its level. The total could be used for matchmaking ! Thanks for reading.

I think these times are just too long for a 7 minutes MM battle, in example in PUBG it's near a one minute waiting time but the battle lasts 30 minutes after that.

U should add more maps into MM for testing and see what the community thinks of them there's plenty on maps I would like to see in MM. But heaps of maps that are currently in MM that I hate.

Yeah, we'll get more new Maps to test on and added into the game, as developers are ready to test/release them.

For now, we are all still getting used to the current new Maps that came into the game.

The developers are also getting their data and statistics on what tankers feel about them, and how they are performing in these maps.

I honestly want the following maps to be added:

  • Fort Knox
  • Novel
  • Gravity
  • Esplanade
  • Pass

The reason why is because these maps are so nostalgic for me because the year when I finally got mega-hooked to Tanki was in 2017, and at the time, these maps were everywhere.

 

Then Matchmaking came :(
