A set amount of rewards that are completely and utterly trivial.

Only 10 batteries from one container? That's only just enough to cover 1 battle...

 

I don't even bother opening the weekly containers I get.

Yeah I'm actually saving my weekly containers so that I can open them at higher ranks to get a higher reward, especially on my lower ranked accounts.450 cry per week is almost nothing when I can make that much in 4 battles or by completing one simple daily mission. (this is for the lower ranked account)

support nanobots gets a major buff for what it does to help your team. shock freeze is useful but very hard to get points and get 1st in battles because you freeze anyone but its very hard to get kills, and thus points. whenever you use this alteration you get very little points in team battles, so they should add somehting like a point system that support nanobots has, and do it for every enemy fully frozen. or they can also just slightly increase damage, but i like the first option better.

This is just plain stupid and contradicting.

 

When you guys introduced the new mission chains, you said we would be getting MORE CONTAINERS (Not weekly ones), which you used an example saying legends get 4 containers (Back when mission chains was a thing) to 6 containers.

 

I don't see why is the containers getting lower by HALVE to 3, lesser by 1 as compared to the old mission chain.

 

Come on, it's not as if your containers have a EXCELLENT rate of pulling Hyper rare (Red) and even super rare (Purple). I opened 80 containers from the ones i saved and not a single red, and only 5 purples.

Also, the "balance" update on striker, isida, hammer and magnum is bull

Magnum was strong in the past, so you guys nerf it. Now with faster reload its going to be the same as it was from the start.

For hammer, why reload is the same now as 3 shot turret? I can kill a guy with 3 shots without alterations but can't kill a guy with 2 shots with the duplet alteration using the same duration? What a joke. Looks like 2019 is the end.

making highways a smaller map is bad, because it is only encourgaing the use of medium hulls over light hulls, and we know how underbalanced light hulls are in the current meta of tanki. you hardly see anyone using wasp in ctf anymore, its all viking isida, viking this, viking that...

Hmm!  Coming out of 2 weeks of hiatus, and Tanki lands this bombshell of a missions update.  Hehehe.  Looks like the 6 loot boxes won after completing all missions was the dev's experiment on all of us to get us hooked to them. 

 

All the clamor is folks relapsing from the allure of loot boxes.  They're probably panicking like "NUUUUUU MUH 25k Crystals Containers!  MUH Paints Containers!  MUH 250 Supplies Containers! NUUUUUUUUU!"

 

As for the buffs and nerfs...well I dunno.  I'm glad Duplet was nerfed, though stock Isida is gonna be...interesting to play around with.  At least Support Nanobots means something now, but I can imagine all the healer-first Isidas are recoiling to the changes.

Support Nanobots didn't get a major buff. Compared to the old Isida with Support Nanobots, it only gives 377 more HP for a fully depleted bar.

 

In technicality, it's a buff. In practicality, it's a nerf.

Actually, this week in every CTF I've played in it's been Wasps that have been snatching the flags.

Which is good, because with the Accelerator twins alt, they don't keep the flag for long. :P

That's it, I'm done with missions.  Rewards no longer worth the effort.

Keep your containers, Tanki.  You obviously need them more than we do.

Sp now the ONLY truly long range map is being nerfed.  The only map where Shafts and Vulcan's reign supreme is getting ruined.

 

Seriously Tanki?

 

Every other map favors short to mid range players, even the bigger ones (this is the longest of course, but in terms of playable area, there are others), the flow of movement and spawn does not allow long range units to capitalize on their strengths.

 

STOP HOMOGENIZING ALL THE MAPS!  Soon there will be no point in different maps if this keeps up.  What's next?  No maps with vertical changes beyond the smallest horizontal aiming angle of any turret?  Those players might complain that map is too hard.  What about those darn props, like building, that people take cover behind, might want to nerf those too you know?

 

Point is, again, anything that remotely resembles variety or difference in gameplay is slowly being removed.  Enough already.  Let Shafts be, especially Shafts, as Vulcans already kind of rule in plenty of other environments too.  Hell, the standard Highways map is where even Magnum should have, SHOULD HAVE, been most powerful.  Why take away the characteristics that allow for varied game play?  It makes no sense.

I mostly agree, particularly regarding anything that allows variety and specialization. Tanki keeps making everything different more and more alike.

 

Those complaining about the advantages of the long-range turrets on Highways are missing the point.

 

I use plasma, Twins for OKDad70 and Ricochet for Ricosck. I have no problem on Highways, not in any mode. Sure, it is a bit annoying at times, but it is MUCH better than Massacre and all the invisible walls. That map is the only one I think should have been retired. Massacre should have been retired long ago.

I don't get what he's complaining about - the nerf to Highways has brought the enemy closer for Shafts.  On top of that, Shaft's reload time has been reduced.

If anything, he should be rejoicing.

Well Tanki, you could have AT LEAST made this missions update for NEW missions, not existing ones.. Actually I agree with some opinions that container awards have been made cheaper since New Year, so that it would be easier to accept this update.. No motivation to do missions at all.

I don't care much about this update because I am caring less and less about Tanki.  I haven't used this acct for anything other than the forum in months because the missions became too much of a tedious grind.   Tanki has become a time killer time of game like solitaire not a game to invest money or even time in.  Now there is very little motivation to play even an alt account.

 

I may wait a week or so, create a new account, and start from zero again.  At least there will be less fully MUed M0s and M1s.  It remains to be seen if I will bother to play Tanki much anymore or not.  What a sad sad waste of a previously wonderful game.

Trying to embrace the suck, the Hammer users seem to realize they did not get nerfed. The Isida uses are gleefully aware they have been buffed back to dominance. Only two battles, but mostly Hammers, Isida, and Freeze. Oh, and Thunder, deadly as ever.

 

The Devs thought, oh, hat medic turret; some complain its healing is too week, and some complain it is too strong in attack, so, of course, they nerf the healing and buff the attack. Good grief.

They ruined Isida's healing mechanic. Equipping Support Nanobots now is less efficient than equipping Support Nanobots before the nerf. 

 

I find that it's very bad that you have to sacrifice damage just to get more healing but is still less than the old Stock Isida's healing. I feel very uncomfortable playing Isida now. I feel like I'm trapped.

There is no more Clip Reload decrease. Duplet Hammer will reload its clip in the same time it takes Unaltered Hammer to reload its clip.

I honestly don't think duplet was nerfed.

Right now if you use duplet, you get two benefits: two rapid-fire shots and a faster reload between them. They're changing it so that you keep the rapid-fire, but the reload is the same as with 3 shots so you choose between having 3 shots or having the ability to shoot twice quickly.
