Important changes to the game

Vulcan & Isida are not GOD.

1. When this combo is going, the enemy is out two tanks just so one can fire.

You mean 1 tank don't you, the isida. But the vulcan is basically 2 tanks with that incendiary alt. Think about it.

2. Try to be creative. Striker could kill this combo with one volley of missiles.

Good luck locking on. You haven't got all day.

3. IF this is too much for people, then make it so Vulcan over heats faster

Brings me back to my original post in this topic. "Nothing for Vulcan"

The nature of the players in this game should also speak volumes to the changes they seek.   When everyone abandons a close game because of a worthless gold box, you know the shallowness of majority of people on here.     Shallow motives and shallow strategy and now a worthless Isida. Sums up this generation

There is very little strategy now.  13 turrets, mines, drones & alts make it virtually impossible to play effectively enough when you only have 3 protections to choose from and are restricted in how many times you can do that. Then there is matchmaking with only 3 in a group.

Dear Administrators, since the beginning of the year, when the containers are opened, only bad rewards are coming! Like three boxes of mines! Not to mention that more than 3,500 diamonds are not earned. Please, please!

Then the change from 3 to 6 weekly containers is a positive one for you. Weekly containers contain a set amount of rewards, unlike normal containers.

Let's do the math.

You also lose 3 normal containers each week, or 156 normal containers over the course of a year.

An average normal container contains 2888 crystals and 99 supplies (and about 7% of a paint, etc, but let's not go there)

Over a year this is 450,528 crystals and 15,444 supplies you no longer receive.

So it looks like at 3rd lieutenant, you will gain overall in supplies, but significantly lose in crystals.

And as most folks at 3rd Lieutenant have thousands of supplies in their garage they can't use, there's no real gain in that either.

This update is designed to reduce the number of crystals in the game.

You're forgetting one thing though. 3rd Lieutentants that complete 20 missions a week will not stay on that rank for long. As they rank, the rewards in weekly containers increase, whereas the rewards in normal containers are the same for all ranks.

In Tanki, what you buy has nothing to do with what you will end up owning

And that right there is what's causing a lot of misconceptions, both about the EULA itself and the balance updates TO is rolling out from time to time. As players, we're users of the game, not owners. If we make a purchase with money, we pay for the experience, we pay to use a certain item or items. I don't mean to disregard your feedback about the balance changes though, just wanted clear this up.

Isida sacrificing it's scoring (stars) and ability to accomplish missions?

The win is more important when these combos are active.

Scoring went from 10 to 15 for a gain of 50%

But now it takes 2x as long to heal that tank.

So a net loss of 50%.

It'll still be easy. I've done my fair share of healing vulcans and it's boring. You spend most of your time keeping them 100% health.

The math does not add up for the majority of Isidas to do this regularly.

We'll see won't we. Did you intentionally leave out the nanobots alt?

Not intentionally no.

Does that come with a damage nerf?

As you said - sitting there healing can become boring.  You won't be doing anything else with that alteration equipped.

Just like you don't mention the buff of an extra 20% to pool of attack energy.

Depending on map, it's more profitable for Isida to destroy tanks than heal.

Can now destroy 2 medium hulls on a pool of energy.

They decided to pretty much screw everything again? not a suprise

like weekly missions were good enough bcs of 6 containers and 3 weekly containers and now u saying its gonna be opposite...its because u were not getting enough money from containers. And we gonna see another excuse saying we need to pay our devs but them rebelling few weeks ago proves that thats not the case

Buffing Magnum is just straight up dumb...i think everyone knows why so no need to explain

Buffing Duplet Alteration...pretty much same as buffing Magnum just dumb

Just came back to Tanki few days ago hoping it was going somewhere but ofc they always prove me that it can go worse

Changes on turrets who really cares, everything is out of whack as it stands which includes the protection modules and other such things.

There is no incentive to complete weekly missions anymore so why bother. They take longer because they are harder and more time consuming than normal missions but really the reward isn't worth it thanks to the new changes.

In a nut shell this game is very quickly losing my interest because there is no incentive to play and when there is they make it P2P.

Tanki Online you get no more of my money.

Mostly looks good, glad Duplet is getting nerfed, but...

Weekly missions

Change in the distribution of weekly mission rewards. Previously, completing all 3 tasks awarded 6 regular containers and 3 weekly ones. This has now been reversed — 6 weekly containers and 3 regular ones.

Seriously, we were doing so well with all the F2P, but now its regressing again.

You're quite right, and I hadn't forgotten it - I just wanted to keep the answer simple. The update will affect lower-ranked tanks more, as you say. There may be a point at higher ranks where it makes no difference, or is even advantageous. I'll do some number crunching.

Then the change from 3 to 6 weekly containers is a positive one for you. Weekly containers contain a set amount of rewards, unlike normal containers.

A set amount of rewards that are completely and utterly trivial.

Only 10 batteries from one container? That's only just enough to cover 1 battle...

I don't even bother opening the weekly containers I get.

ok, at my estimate of a Normal Container having an average crystal equivalent of 2,881, this update becomes advantageous at Generalissimo and Legend ranks only.

For a more conservative estimate of 2,500 crystals per Normal container, it becomes advantageous from Marshall rank upwards.

And if you're as unlucky as Wolverine and get a measly 2,000 crystals per container, then this update becomes advantageous at Colonel upwards.

Two other considerations:

1. You don't have to use Weekly Containers - you can bank them and use them at higher ranks for a higher reward - a plus point for the upgrade.

2. You are less likely to pick up the big game-changing crystal rewards, and you are less likely to get other desirable non-crystal stuff (paints, shot effects, XT) if you like that sort of thing. This is a minus point for the upgrade.

Really bad update.

Why even do these difficult missions in blow out battles. I had RBG mission I did earlier and had to quit before a single shot, I was last rank of a 9 rank bracket battle. CTF battles were a little better.

+1.

Even with the 6x Weekly Containers in this update for me it's 58 RKs.

I can go through 100 RKs a day doing the Missions.  The rewards are not worth the effort, frankly.

I had reduced my time on TO to just doing the Missions.  Now those aren't worth doing now imo.

Nice..P2W again :)

Yesterday i was thinging about buying the next battle pass and 90days premium, but now i realiezed:

I'll rather to spend 1000€ on fortnite skins than spending 0.01€ for this P2W game!! (i have about 20 skins, but always playing without skin,so skins are useless for me)

Looks like a 90%-crap update to me. Maybe I will like the 10% of good stuff, or maybe it will just make everything worse.

Why do Devs love Isida so much? Isida stink.

changes to the game balance are good (except isida i'm still skeptical let's test and see).

changes to daily mission reward are okay but only if you take out drugs out of the regular price (except the bundle of course)

This makes Isida less of a healer and more like Fire and Freeze, until they buy the alteration.

1. Yes striker alt was epic, but the nerf wasn't needed.

2. Thank god the thunder alt is slightly less OP

3. Highways been ruined, i bought shaft literally 2 weeks ago, and now this. -_-

4. Who was the dev that wanted to switch out conts? literally ONLY reason to try to play this game some every day, my weak nonbuyer hands wanted to grasp a nice shot color, but NO now 1/2 the chances.

5. Please fire who ever thought magnum and shaft needed FASTER reload times!

Lastly, why did magnoob weapon get XT before Striker? Also, any1 talking about how OP and annoying the magnoob alt where it lays mines is? I mean, it might be just me, but when i spawn in MMS, i don't think i should need to use mine prots...

Highway Map (Matchmaking)

Reduced the length of the map to make it more balanced for mid-range players.

Sp now the ONLY truly long range map is being nerfed.  The only map where Shafts and Vulcan's reign supreme is getting ruined.

Seriously Tanki?

Every other map favors short to mid range players, even the bigger ones (this is the longest of course, but in terms of playable area, there are others), the flow of movement and spawn does not allow long range units to capitalize on their strengths.

STOP HOMOGENIZING ALL THE MAPS!  Soon there will be no point in different maps if this keeps up.  What's next?  No maps with vertical changes beyond the smallest horizontal aiming angle of any turret?  Those players might complain that map is too hard.  What about those darn props, like building, that people take cover behind, might want to nerf those too you know?

Point is, again, anything that remotely resembles variety or difference in gameplay is slowly being removed.  Enough already.  Let Shafts be, especially Shafts, as Vulcans already kind of rule in plenty of other environments too.  Hell, the standard Highways map is where even Magnum should have, SHOULD HAVE, been most powerful.  Why take away the characteristics that allow for varied game play?  It makes no sense.

This makes Isida less of a healer and more like Fire and Freeze, until they buy the alteration.

Most of the "updates" they do now are to encourage us to spend even more crystals.

Example... cut Isida healing in half.  At same time make the nanobot alteration +100% healing.

Voila - back to where you started for 55k crystals.

Oh wait - there's a 50% damage nerf.     No thanks.
