Anyone else getting into battles where your team just instantly loses?

In my opinion, I think it's the 1st minute of the game which determines the final result most of the time.

Not all players take the same time to join the battle due to different connection speeds. So, in the very beginning of the battle there are players who are ready for the battle while other still joining and others are doing some other stuff and others may be changing some equipment in the garage. The players who are ready for the battle take this chance and go to cap a flag e.g. which will be very easy. When the players who still joining join to the battle and the other players pay attention to the game game they find it 1-0 - which is a bad result to start a battle with- so they leave. This give the other team another chance to cap another flag easily. which will make more players to leave. All that happens in less than 1.5 minutes. The losing team now is out-numbered so the MMS will send any new player to this team. That's why you often find yourself in the losing side with 2 flags ahead while the game is still in the beginning.

I believe the MMS should have at least 30 seconds in the beginning for preparing. During those 30 seconds nothing like kills, cap points or flags will count.

It should definitely be more transparent if a group is in the battle. Some kind of tag - like clans have.

This is implemented in War Thunder (realistic tank/plane simulator). You can see which players are in battle groups. Players who are in battle groups usually coordinate their action via voice chat (Skype, Discord...)

Since battle chat is so difficult now, I can imagine there are more and more groups with communication abilities playing together and coordinating their moves.

I've just quit 2 games in a row which prompted me to log into the forum and complain. The game was over within a minute. To add insult to injury I'm then being spawn filled by a freeze with a fancy paint and full drugs. Seriously, think I'm done with this game. Games are suppost to be fun.

It's very annoying spawning into a battle and instantly getting killed by a drugged duplet or freeze, like a spit in the face from the game.

Yeah, one minute battles seems to be happening a lot lately...reduced from 2 minute battles. The problem is that the losing team is losing so badly, players quit, so, MM tries to fill those battles first (contrary to popular belief). When there is half or less on the losing team and the score gap is ridiculous with 1 minute remaining, MM seems to think that if it tries to fill the team, that somehow the losing team will be able to turn the game around and either win or tie the game. When MM was programmed they left out logic.

I rage quit a lot, lately, and go to another game that makes more sense.

That definitely has happened to me more times than I can count.

May be there should be a wait time for everyone to load into the game before it starts? Like 30 seconds or a minute? And everyone can get a chance to change their equipment during this time as well, so they don't get put into highways with a close or short range weapon that just does not work. I believe Tanki X has something like this now, where there is a prep time, and then the battle begins, TO should have something like that too.

The WIKI said that there was a waiting period where kills and objectives didn't count. At the top of the screen it said Preparing for Battle. I questioned that and made a link to that part of the rules. A Mod said that they was so positive that this was going to be implemented at the next update it was put into the WIKI. But for some reason it wasn't implemented and they forgot to take it out of the WIKI.

This is weird. That should be in the game 100%!

At this point, I think it's best if people just buy the PRO battle pass and play without supplies. Not so much even battles, but you can rely on your skill to at least give you okay score if your team is being annihilated. Playing without supplies is just so much more calm and rewarding, with the exception of missions and challenges being completed.

Actually - if your team is being wrecked in Pro-battles, you won't get a very good reward from battle fund.

Pro-battle division of battle funds was not updated like match-maker battles were.

Having said that - the battles are more fun.

Playing Pro battles with just the dropping supplies active is about the closest you can get to the earlier days of Tanki when it was a Non-Buyers game. Back then, it was more F2P with the option to buy. Now, it's F2P with the option not to buy.

You are right wolv. The battle fund division is still 70/30. Meaning winning team gets 70% of the battle fund, while 30% to the loser.

Making the Pro-Battle earning crystals huge risk-huge reward. B2W (bet to win)

I am posting because this is exactly what i have been noticing for the last few months. I have been feeling it is something with me, but if other people notice then maybe there is something wrong.

I first thought it was groups joinging the other side, but they say it is not so. ok.

So wierd that it appears at the diverse ranks. Maybe i could see it for Legends, since new legends like myself play against legend 10's and 20's.

But, I am surprised the details match. The other side ALL comes out fully drugged and seemingly coordinated. They move fast and hard. And if I go off all of a sudden it seems I have no teammates anywhere around and find 4 enemy tanks.

How does MM allocate based on our ratings? Can they pick lower rated equip at beginning and change when they enter the battle?

I used to always be in the top 3 of every battle, now I am at the bottom every time. Now, this seems to have changed some after they redid the criteria for pts in battles.

It's not you, it's the game. It's broken.

Some of us were complaining even before the damaging updates, hoping that somehow devs would understand what they were doing was wrong. But they didn't listen or didn't care.

We even complained in the Complaint Book, until they decided to move or remove complaint posts from there.

Some changes can help, but just a little. And big changes would be really hard and maybe really damaging as well.

And matchmaking will get worse and worse because there are fewer and fewer players.

I'm posting this so we can start to accept reality. Meanwhile you can quit battles that are one sided and those where you're one of the lowest ranks.

I submitted idea for "group" tag to be attached to players if they enter a battle as a group.

It was moved and is now buried 6-feet-under somewhere...

now that the challenges are in ,some people tend to purposely throw the game so the battle can end faster, if they aren't winning instantly.

You mean playing TDM on every battle mode? They do that anyway.

Do you mean multing? They do that anyway.

Nothing new here.

If they're not fighting back, they're multing. If they are fighting back, but not paying attention to the objective, they're playing TDM. Seems normal to me.
