Everyone is going for max stars. If early in the game they see that they can't get it, they leave. I'm content only completing Tier 2 myself.

What if, now hear me out here, what if...Tanki decreased the number of containers we could earn from missions just so we would have a lesser chance of obtaining premium from the containers to complete the challenge easier?

I agree with you on the part that non-buyers are able to receive the shot colours by completing the challenges BUT I paid the money for it whilst non-buying & buying players can get it for free.

To be honest, my favorite challenge day is the very first day.. where its a race to get the first new paint. After that, its not worth wasting time playing in one sided battles. Im waiting for the day when Tanki sees that even being on the winning team in a one sided battle is no fun. Its not enjoyable just clobbering a team 5-0 in CTF within the first 4-5 mins.

Perhaps someone has already defined this, but 70 score is the minimum for Stars now, with the changes. 70+ get stars, 69 or less, no soup for you.

He should leave those battles. We shouldn't try to balance a broken game by trying harder and harder.

That's what I said long ago. but devs don't seem to understand why it's really bad for the game, and it will get worse and worse as time goes by.

 

There could have been other methods of them making those with full garage spend more without putting the game on track to it's demise.

Just like supplies.  You can take the high road and not use them - but - not the smart way to go since most of your enemies will be using them and pounding you into dust.  You won't last long versus many turrets now once they equip DD.

 

I caved and bought a couple of the cheaper drones, since I have accumulated > 2000 batteries. That's equivalent of 600k crystals according to the over-priced valuation - can't have that gaining dust.  So I equip the Trooper drone for DM missions - keeps you alive long enough to spawn and get oriented.  I get decent results in DM with Titan-Ricco and the drone equipped.
