Why would they tell everyone to decide very hard which team they will choose, obviously everyone is going to join the team of their own gender.
 

It is unlikely to happens, and if it happens, Boys being gentleman they will forfeit to the Girls. :P

If their faction loses or they are below the average number of Stars in the winning faction, they don't win one of the animated paints and their 5k crystals will be for nothing.

 

But because they'will also be participating in the March Challenge, they'll win prizes for the Tieers.

 

I think everyone that does at least 400 Stars in challenges will be above average; which team will win? who knows!

I wish I had known about the average and getting equal to the stars to get a paint. I haven't been on this game for a long time. (PTW). But I just waisted my crystals. Is there a way to drop out of the competition and get them back. I would love that because I don't waste my money on games that are PTW.

unfortunately you cannot drop out. I can suggest you too spend more time the next time you wish to spend crystals, it is applicable to all type of game F2P and P2W.

So what?  Don't you ever read the rules before entering a contest? Please do before buying the paint, so you know what you signed for.

 

100% of the winner bought a ticket, not all the people who bought a ticket will win the prize.

While the original announcement doesn't explicitly clarify whether you can drop out of the Gender War, based on statements like the "buying a ticket" statement, the implied answer is no (you can check out the relevant info in the below spoiler). 

 

 

 

As soon as you purchase one paint, the other will become unavailable for you to purchase. Choose carefully, because your choice CANNOT be changed.

At the end of the Gender WAR at 02:00 UTC on March 29, the Lady and Gentleman paints will be removed from all garages.

No. When you buy the paint, it’s like buying a ticket to participate in the "Gender War." If your side wins, you’ll be getting an extra prize on top of your Challenge rewards. If your team isn’t triumphant... well... you might want to try harder next time.
