| Random | New Battle format/Game mode

This new battle format I'm thinking of can also be a whole new game mode. and so this battle format goes like this:

 

Called | Random | well, based on what it will do to the player when he/she joins this format, it will completely equip them with random equipment to play inside the map which they already have in the garage.

 

we know that every player in tanki is able to change his equipment before joining any battle or even inside the battle, but that can be disabled(the ability to change your equipment inside the battle)

and in this battle format, you will play with an equipment from your own garage and equipment you already have, but the system chooses what equipment for you to play in the battle. And obviously, if I wasn't clear enough... you won't be able to change your equipment in the battle, it will be just like the way | Parkour | works(when you choose the parkour format, it will immediately disable the smart supplies) and if you enable the smart supplies, the battle format will go back to | Without Format | so it's like the system wants you to just play by the rules :)

 

 

For example, I created a battle with this format and simply just joined the battle, and the system has chosen for me a random equipment to play with, which is: Hornet + Hammer(Random alteration of what you own) + Meteor shower(Paint) + 3 Random protection modules of what you own.

And I was having this equipment before I join the battle.KmvXyhf.png

And if you leave the battle, you will have the equipment you were using before joining the battle. So the hornet and hammer were just equipped randomly by the system to play with, and when leaving the battle you will go back to the equipment of what you have chosen. (That's how it works) That's how Mafia works xD

 

if you don't like the equipment the system equipped for you, you can just leave the map and join it again with a new randomly picked equipment. This will be a great battle format for players who like to just play with any equipment and fight player! and for players who think they are lucky enough to have very strong equipment after joining the map.



 

So here is all the information about my idea, I hope you like it! it would be great for me if you just leave a comment about what do you think about this battle format/game mode.

Good idea but there is 1 issue with it in my opinion and it is the drones...will players have drones in this game mode or not? Personally, I would say drones should be disabled as well. Here is why, not many tankers have drones and their batteries are very expensive as most of us know. Another point is that if some of the tankers who joined the battle HAVE drones with them and others don't? That won't be a fair game at all so drones should be eliminated from this game mode in order to make things balanced.

I think the drones should be disabled as well because it will fair like that yeah.

it won't be an issue if it was implemented with drones, remember that you can always disable a feature in the battle before creating it.

One more thing that can be done is to set the Gear Score range or something like that so you don't get M0s in a battle of M3s.

You can control the bar where it says, from which rank to what rank you want the battle to be.

But if you have a few M0s in your garage and join a battle of legends, there should be a system to assign only M3s or the highest modification you have. The option to leave the battle and join again should be used to its minimum.

Overall fun idea, but I think that equipment selected for you should not depend on your garage, that way there is more variety. Perhaps it would be interesting to have equipment change randomly on every respawn for maximum chaos.

Idea of the Century!!

If you get a bad combo, you will of course get killed sooner or later and would probably respawn with a better combo. Would love that OP Dictator-Thunder guy to respawn with a Mammoth-Freeze. :lol:

This would be a Pro-Battle selection?  Can't see it working for Match-Maker...

 

This could only work for non-team battles (basically another DM) as players will drop out often if they have a terrible combo.

Yes, this is a suggestion for format battles and, according to my suggestion, those who join the battle would only get the best of what they have and wouldn't have to keep leaving and rejoining.

Indeed, it is as Given said. First, I would think it is more suited to be a pro battle feature and secondly...only your highest and best equipment should be picked and since the rank brackets in pro battles aren't that big...it might work slightly better.

special mode

 

A game mode that is like Deathmatch,team deathmatch,assault,etc,.  But it not like other  modes.

It has a special mode that is the turrent and hulls is selected randomly but m1 m2 m3 is not taken from garage which had players garage.

But alterations,colour, xt skins is based on players garage(which player selected in garage).and turrent and hulls is selected is based on players Rank and selected combo is Tanki online game server.

To be honest it's Archipelago MM all over again - and believe me, it's the most detested map because of it's randomness and balance issues.

LOL how does Archipelago MM come in, you ask? 

Well, this has happened to me many time that I spawn onto an island filled with enemy Firebirds, and I obviously die, and I respawn on the very same island once or twice more. Another island remains calm and tranquil, with Shafts of one team pleasantly roaming about, sniping off enemy tanks on other islands at will. No enemy tank spawns on that island for a significant amount of time.

I'm trying to say that when you make randomness a major factor, it brings some serious side effects. 

One could end up in any one of the three islands while respawning, and the island which one has just left is not ruled out for respawning. 

 

I am against the idea of players getting different random equipment when the join the battle. It could mean that 5 players of one team got Isida-Mammoth and 2 got Shaft-Wasp (say), while the enemy team got a suitable mixture of all combos. Totally possible. Or it could mean that every player got a combo suited for large maps while they are playing in small maps. Imagine being Striker-Viking with a bunch of Smoky-Wasps dodging your rockets and knocking off your aim, while Freeze-Hornets slow you down with ease, and you have no way to fight back.

Granted that you want players to leave the battle and join again till they get a desired combo. But that has problems again! It's like how containers work - there's a very high chance that you get common items (analogous to desired combo) for ages at a time. 

 

I'd like to tweak your idea a bit: When a battle is made in the Random mode, a certain combo(s) is (are) decided at that moment.

Then whoever spawns in that battle gets that decided combo. Now that combo is decided at random. So essentially, everyone in the battle gets the same combo, though it may or may not be different from what you have equipped.

Or, 2-3 combos can be decided by the system, and every tank alternates between those combos in a fixed pattern after every death.

For example, Firebird-Mammoth and Magnum-Viking are the chosen combos. In team Red we have A, B, C tanks, and in team Blue we have X, Y, Z tanks. Now, let the order of the combos be Fire-Mammy then Mag-Vik. So when all tanks first spawn, they will all have Fire-Mammy. Let's say A, X and Z get killed. When they spawn next, they will have Mag-Vik as their combo. B, C and Y will still have Fire-Mammy. Then tanks will keep switching between these combos in the decided pattern.

 

Another tweak could be that the battle will be divided in terms of certain time-periods or objective-periods. Whichever tank spawns in a given time/objective period gets a certain combo chosen at random for that time/objective period.

Say during 32:59 to 32:00, all tanks will spawn as Gauss-Titans. Then during 31:59 to 31:00 all tanks will spawn as Vulcan-Hoppers. This is the example of "time-period".

For "objective-period" consider: During 2 flags captured to 3 flags captured (in total, considering flags capped by both teams), all tanks will spawn as Railgun-Ares. Then from 3 flags to 4 flags, all tanks will spawn as Smoky-Mammoths. Or, during 30 DM score to 35 DM score, all tanks will spawn as Smoky-Mammoths, etc.

Now the beauty of this is that whoever survives a time-period or objective-period, gets to retain their combo until they die. Once they die, they'll spawn according to the combo for the current time/objective period. 

 

EDIT: There is a serious drawback... in case one doesn't own all turrets and hulls, it'll be nearly impossible to play a battle in this mode. I guess that's why you suggested totally random equipment from whatever one owns, Goges...
