Remove drones yes.

 

Module.... um I have mastery idea/alternations to solve the module problem. You dealing M4 Dolphin can be absolutely annoying.

 

Overdrive SHOULD NOT be removed however. I can't wait to wreck anyone whoever dared to use Eagle. And anyone whoever uses DA, good night!

So somehow you are gonna wreck... everyone?

This part is not true . . . the devs have multiple accounts with average or below average equipment that they use to test.

Evidence? It can be inferred that the devs do not test the lower ranks with average equipment. I'm pretty sure the devs are at least smart enough to know that if they knew it, they would do something to fix how m0 noobs can play m2 users at sergeant... If they really do have these lower testing accounts that you claim, then they are even more stupid. They are just allowing all of the chaos that is happening at the lower ranks if what you say is true. 

 

I believe that none of use can say with full confidence that developers' actions had adverse effect on the game's popularity. Obviously their decisions were not perfect and they did make mistakes. I'm sure there are plenty of better paths they could have taken for game development in order to retain more old players and have the newcomers stick around longer. But the main thing I disagree with is that leaving the game as is and NOT releasing any of the updates we've seen in the past 4 years would have a much worse effect on the game than what we have now.

Well no kidding, sherlock, if they don't release an update in 4 years the game would die anyways. I'm saying that the because that the developers do not know their game at all, they are unable to release a good update. And bad updates do more damage to the game than nothing at all. I remember when half the playerbase left during the premium update and paint separation update..

Um, wasn't it revealed that the incoming hull overdrives (wasp, I think) will have a turn-off-all-modules-and-supplies benefit?

Now, if FrozenRailgun has a Wasp/Shaft, then he will indeed be turning off all your protections with Wasp's OD and you can indeed kiss your ass goodnight as you (and anyone else in range) won't have any protection from his Shaft.

 

That's what I think he's saying.

Make up your mind. If the game would die without updates, and (according to you) most recent updates were bad, and bad updates are worse than nothing at all, then why is the game not dead yet?

I read that the Staff and Devs (not all, I think) have accounts and play amongst themselves. They don't play very often so their ranks are low.

FrozenRailgun ironically uses Shaft.  You do realize the range of Hunters EMP (OD) is quite limited... right?

Hunter OD is not gonna do a shaft much good.

 

The point I was making was a shot at Frozen's comment about wrecking anyone that uses DA - that happens to be everyone.

People really like to kill non-buyers by buying items. That's why this game is still running. This game needs helpers only for them I guess. Most of the people who played in the past are just socializing in this forum. You call that a game ? There should be some sort of fair play. The buyers need to have access only to the 'skins' not 'turrets or buying crystals' IMO.

Ability to buy a few things that actually gives buyers an advantage is unfortunately necessary.  Not enough players will "buy" just to get some cosmetic differences.  I mean - I doubt anyone would pay $200k for a Lamborghini if it performed same as Mustang.

 

Problem is... buyers have been offered too many ways to be better.

- Drones

- Alterations

- Modules

- Early Kits in Garage

Individually most (see below) are not a huge problem. But combined - they lead to a large power-gap between buyers and non-buyers.

 

The last one can be just brutal.  The unlock rank of many kits in the shop is incredibly unfair.  Then MU that kit you just bought and you are pretty much a god until you rank up many levels.

You forgot about micro-upgrades. To me, they are the biggest P2W element at the moment. The fact that you can get a Marshal-level turret at Master Sergeant rank is just plain unacceptable and I find it hard to believe that the game cannot survive without selling such a massive advantage.

 

If only developers would restrict the level of MUs per rank (or at least make kit items impossible to MU until their actual unlock rank), then the problem would be much less serious.

I'm totally agreed with sensei_tanker's decision.

 

 

I find Club penguin to be better game compare to this.

Isn't Club Penguin dead?

Arguably my final post in forever in this section, I will try making this count. People are tired of seeing all of these threads about Tanki dying but as a leaving player, I will try offering my original views as to why I'm deciding to leave the game:

 

1. The players know  s i g n i f i c a n t l y  more than the developers about the game. The developers have no clue how screwed up the game is at low ranks, which is a slow toxin that will ultimately kill the game within a year. Developers and employees of other high admin positions don't even play the game at all. How are they able to take action on issues in the game if they have no idea what the hell is going on? The developers have never played as an m2 user playing an m4 maxed player. Although the devs have saved the stats and updates of every single thing in the game, they don't understand the most important aspect of the game at all, the gameplay. For example, devs wanted a cool drone and they thought making ones that allows you to quickly spam 30 mines would make gameplay fun. The devs definitely don't pay attention to low ranks at all right now (look at the state of it)... they will pay for that. 

 

2. They believe they know best while the playerbase knows the game better than the developers. Tying back to the first point, the developers still are under the illusion that they know the game better than the players. Since they are unopen to players' ideas, they are basically unwillingly tying the noose around their neck.  

 

3. Incompetency of the Developers. I remember when they were saying the new overdrives were coming within a week from 2018. Then they said they were done except only viking's OD was having problems and was holding them back. Now it's March and those are still not there. When I made a topic inquiring about this, Maf quickly shot it down. 

 

Developers are so into making money, designing all these new features that literally don't work and are counterproductive, that the most important aspect of the game, the GAMEPLAY, has grown all moldy. It is bland, boring, and unbalanced. 

 

The most important point is: The developers are in denial. Many moderators and admins have been saying "oh the game is dying because flash is dying". This is stupid. That is implying that no matter what the devs do, the game is meat. They have been believing this instead of realizing that they are the ones driving their game into the ground. The game was VERY ALIVE in 2013, while heavily played games such as GTA 5, COD MW3 came out as well... 

I really agree with the first point, M1's just drug, mainly Thunders, and 2 shot the Hornets. I play with Freeze mainly with Viking which slowers my tank so much. In order to kill these drugging thunders, I BUY DRUGS! But I still cannot kill them. With shaft, your aim can just easily get knocked right off, like 90 degrees away from your previous position by them Thunders. The developers need to stop "improving" the game with new items and others and focus on certain aspects of the current game.

Crystals are also a problem: when buying them 10 drugs it costs 500. Winning a battle on 5th place with ^^^ going on, 100 crystals made back with 500 spent.

I'm forced to do this since my common container rewards give me anything but double damages and I need them desperately. Even worse, it's harder to get a 250 of all supplies now.

i am a very low rank player and i am sort of new to the forum.

 

 

Why is it everyone at low ranks has a m2 or a M1 PROTECTION ?

 

i mean it is impossible to play being 1 shotted by thunders with protection and double armour. 

 

What can i do???? :(  :(

 

pls help, i feel so helpless in every match.
