Special Gold Mechanics

 

If you enjoyed April Fools’ last year, the surprise Gold Boxes are back to wreak havoc in all regular, non-PRO battles in Tanki!

 

To make the celebration truly epic, from 02:00 UTC on April 1st until 02:00 UTC April 8th, Gold Boxes will drop 10 times more often, and inside each you will find one of the following surprises:

 

• Two additional Gold Boxes

• 1, 2 or even 3 days of Premium!

• A neat package of 1 000, 5 000, 10 000 or 50 000 crystals;

• A bomb that destroys all tanks near the drop zone (kills are credited to the catcher)

• 60 seconds of true immortality (will not drop in Juggernaut mode). The effect remains if you self-destruct, but ends if you change equipment.

It's always the same every year :/ Would've been better if tanki added something new for example, golds should drop as a meteorite, spawn instantly or drop with parachute, nobody will know what's going to fall out of these 3 and that would've been  much more fun

I think the days of April Fools Celebration has been increased. Last year or 2 years back it ended on 2:00 UTC in the day of my birthday 3rd April.

I feel like I remember Tanki pulling something about 30% turning into 50% day of the sale a few years back.. is my mind failing me or does anyone else remember that? I doubt it'll happen again, but just out of curiosity

It was 2016 Halloween, 31% off on Turrets and Hulls was changed to 50%!

I have a question about the immortality prize.

 

Will we know if someone has got it/is using it?  Will there be any visual clue?

Or do we only find out when we're sat there taking pot shots at him/her?

 

I'd sort of rather prefer a visual clue so I can at least not try to take them on but try to avoid being in their 60-second meat grinder.
