vlogs kept me informed on any further updates. Nobody watches old vlogs.

Okay but if someone starts playing Tanki now-how will they know (for example) what micro upgrades are?

V-logs tell you that turret x had a buff, and turret y had a nerf. Its not telling you that upgrades don't mean new turrets-how is a new player supposed to figure it out?

So you expect someone who just found a link to a random game-to read through pages to understand it?-New players are not interested in reading a wiki to understand something they don't know is really worth it.

If you want more people to join the game it has to (start off at least) be user-friendly and likeable.

Tanki offers rewards (gold boxes) to YouTubers since they get more people to know about Tanki-they are trying to attract players this way they can't have them read the wiki or leave (since they will leave).

If a player is only gonna play a game for like, a day, and then leave, they wouldn't care to know about it. If they're interested and curious, they can scan through the wiki to update their knowledge above the basics.

Youtubers get rewards not because they teach players how to play, but because they attract potential players.

Players hear about other games, and they don't just join it-they first try it out. If a player can't figure out how to play in his first few games-and they don't know how to use new features when they unlock-it is not so simple to "scan the wiki", and they likely will leave. If they would know that it really is enjoyable once you get used to Tanki-they would read the wiki-but they don't know its worth it yet.

Also-not everyone has patience to just stop and 'wiki it' -they want to play-not read a wiki 3 times a day.

What are you talking about? Nobody searches the wiki to know how to move their tank. If you're curious to find out about a particular feature, there's the wiki. There's nothing about patience involved.

If I want to know about Overdrives, I will go to the wiki and take an overview. Hardly takes 5 to 10 minutes.

That's why you have this:

You have to press the question mark at the top right. I would assume that a question mark should indicate to a young one that it means "more information".

I was actually talking about information that might seem hard to understand, like the purpose of Modules or which hull has which Overdrive. But yeah, the controls aren't something you need to see the wiki for.
