Nope, I wanna fully focus on my career and enjoyment, and I don't think I will be a good parent lol. Maybe I would like to have kids when I'm like 30+, but it's too far for now, I'm just 18.

I'm too old for children, but here's my 2 cents worth, anyway.

People are getting married later in life. They are concentrating on careers to get more established and to get a good start on life and savings. Times, traditions, morals have all changed. Couples are starting families in their 30's rather than in their late teens and early 20's.

Unmarried couples are losing the stigma once attached to them. There are advantages and disadvantages to married and unmarried. Do the research for legal entitlements of unmarried couples before making that decision.

My Mom told me that when she and my Dad got married, he told her he wanted a baseball team. My Mom told him, "Over my dead body!!! You're getting 2 and that's it!"

A friend of many years (male) has 5 siblings...all girls. His Mom told him that all she and his Dad wanted was a boy and a girl. The first one was a girl, the second was a girl. His Dad wanted a son so bad, they decided to keep trying until they got a boy, but no more than 6. My friend was number 6. He said that when he was around 9 or 10 years old, his Dad started having more quality time with him by announcing to the family, "You hens can stay in the henhouse and cackle all you want. We roosters are going out to crow."

Sounds like a setting for an anime

im just gonna say for the record that about 95% of parents in this world arent even qualified to be parents

Babies don't come with an instruction manual and couples don't take a test to become qualified. Where did you get your statistics?

I checked that.  You are indeed the original author, but I'm certain you cannibalized that from another famous quote, but I can't recall it.

Kids are a pain.  I know this because everyday I log into Tanki and play against them.  They shoot at me and try to kill me and keep me from taking flags.  They're selfish and and spend way too many crystals on stuff.

Dunno if I want to generate anymore Tanki players to deal with in the future.

If I did, it was unintentional. Several years ago, I was in the local bar with a few friends. We were discussing marriage and divorce rates. The saying popped into my head. I said it out loud, the group chuckled and agreed. It's stuck with me ever since.

Kids don't come with an instruction manual. Any other product, the owner would be on the phone complaining to management.

More sleepless nights than you ever had before. Again, complaints to the management.

You're constantly "flying by the seat of your pants," except you weren't born with wings. Now who do you complain to?

You can't wait until they turn 18 so they can leave the nest or you kick them out of it. That's how other animals do it. But Humans think that's unconscionable.

Too many mixed emotions to keep up with. One minute you're laughing at their antics, next minute you're so angry at them you feel like "killing" them. Then the kid starts sulking/crying because you hollered at them. You feel guilty and saddened and apologize. Then you feel you could "love them to death."

Grandma is happy to babysit while the parents have a few hours to themselves. After a few hours has passed, Grandma is looking at the clock wondering when the parents are going to pick them up. After another hour, Grandma is wondering if the parents are ever coming back.

Having kids is an 18 year roller coaster ride.
