Declined Purchase of shot effects

Many dedicated players like myself would like something so they can stand out from the crowd. One of the best ways for this is shot effects. Although the rewards for Challenges give a fair amount of shot effects, the droprate of shot effects from containers is horrible. I've opened several hundred containers, and I only got two shot effects from them. I've seen YouTubers opening thousands of containers and not getting a single one, either.

 

So here's a solution that might just work.

 

Instead of making us try our luck over and over again, why can't you let us skip all of that and get to it straight away? You did this with stars, XTs, and paints, and I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to buy shot effects from the Shop. I'd be willing to pay a bit if that meant I could have some of the best shot effects in the game.

 

Although there's always the option of buying shot effects in packs, like the "Cryo" and "Bumblebee" bundles over the last couple of months, I'd like it if there were kits for all shot effects of a particular turret.

 

And there's an even better solution than that. What if we could pick out specifically the shot effects that we want? Nobody wants all the shot effects for Shaft. I only want 4 - Blood, Blue, Magma, and Void.

 

What I'm proposing is a mix-and-match system. You take three or four shot effects you want from turrets, and you pay around 10-20 USD for them.

 

It seems simple enough to implement, and I really don't want to spend hundreds of dollars investing into containers.

 

I do hope this suggestion gets considered, as I've seen suggestions like buying stars get implemented, and I'd love it if people agree with me.

Might be added eventually, but no point having a topic about it. Obviously developers considered adding shot effects as an item that's purchasable separately, but it seems that having them in containers only brings in more revenue. It's solely up to them to manage the economics of this feature.

All right, I can understand that. I just hope that they increase the drop rates or something as I really can't get anything good nowadays.
