The category topics exist for less important ideas, which are not worth having in separate topics. Things like new turrets, new maps and new supplies are pointless to report to developers because they have their own list of potential features that they can work with.

For the most part, only new topics get listed in the weekly reports.

Zero damage - generally a very bad idea, but here is an improvement:

if the re-spawning tank has immunity from hostile fire, then make it impossible for that tank to pickup a flag or a football until damage can be suffered.

I swear to god Defender drone really needs a nerf, man I play with thunder m4 and I barely do 120 damage cs ppl own that drone and think themselves pro. And if I ask for it, you might say it is little weak bcs it uses 3 DA per time. Its not the nerf, reduce the protection level of the drone. https://prnt.sc/tkghe1 Says ez and most of them were drone warriors. I swear I had better score than him tho I wasn't using drone. Also,,

man for me what should be reevaluated would be the overdrive of (drone) because it is almost impossible to kill him when he is using the over

It has been nerfed over time.

Benefit used to be +50% --> +200%.    Now it is +25% --> +100%.

Interesting that you're not a fan of drones - you have 20 hrs use on them combined.  I'm L7 and have < 5 hrs total on drones.

It got a buff, then two nerfs. Remember how the very first iteration gave like 400% bonus armour but only for 5 seconds? No one used that and preferred Booster instead, for obvious reasons.

But then it was changed to like 200% for 20 seconds, then reduced to 15 seconds, and recently bumped to 30 seconds with a nerf to defence.

Filter isn't working properly now for some reason and doesn't show them all, but there's at least 53 topics there.

What players want and what can actually be done are two completely different things. Sure, it would be great to just please the audience and give them what they ask for, but don't forget that there's also:

  • Economic balance, which cannot allow players to geet too much free stuff
  • Different types of players — a thing that one player wants may be something another player would hate.
  • Technological limitations
  • Limited finance and human (developers') work hours

You might be right, but to me it's still a fun place to discuss potential ideas.

First time i have been in this section of the forum. So here is a valid and not to difficult idea to implement, taken into account they have done this sort of thing to just about everything else. How about NERFING HORNETS overdrive are better still scrap overdrives altogether. There we go not that hard to implement and should not impact on human resources to much are the economic balance of the game. And when have the devs ever cared what players like or don't like, we just post this stuff to pass the time away because MM is totally broken along with the ridiculous boosting of battle funds, so it makes sense for the lower ranked players not to play as much because we can't keep up with the upgrades to our garage when we rank far to quickly because of this idiotic  boost to xp the devs have introduced. Same old same old from the devs, they never ever listen to our ideas to make the game more balanced. Because they no best....YEAH RIGHT.

Yeah - the original version was useless mostly - 5 seconds - enemies could easily wait that out.

The 200% was just ridiculous.

+100% is still very powerful.  But even over 30 seconds that is weaker than +200% over 20.

Upgrading mine as we speak... ?

Guide for posting Ideas has been revised.

What's changed: 

  • List of Category topics Updated:
  • Visualizations/ Dead links/ Outdated topic Titles fixed.
  • Tags missing from the "List of tags" added.
  • Efficient way to use the Search function updated as per the current forum engine. 
  • Rules:
    • Rule concerning "bringing back crystal boxes" has been revoked however we still do not accept Ideas regarding bringing Crystals Boxes back for the higher ranks but are open to other suggestions.

I was just sorting through files on an old hard drive and found this gem of a word document from 2011 — a text I prepared for an idea I wanted to post on the RU ideas site (which is now long gone). Ended up being partially implemented as Striker and Magnum ?

I have an idea of a new turret - a "rocket launcher": it is a box on a tank with twenty holes, but I haven't thought of the design yet. 

PROS: long range - can fly through the entire stadium map; power - M0 with a direct hit kills mammoth M1; explosion - in case of an indirect hit, it takes away half of the hp in the blast zone; homing - M2 and M3 master heat detectors so that the rocket can slightly change its trajectory towards the tank; rate of fire - rocket every three seconds; ballistic trajectory - you can shoot over buildings 

CONS: aiming - you need to choose the angles and force of the shot yourself, but this will be easier since the choice is manual with the arrow keys; reloading - after 20 shots, be sure to wait 20 seconds until the missiles are loaded; self-damage - you can inflict damage to yourself up to half HP; immobilisation - it is impossible to shoot and move at the same time; 

Cost - M0 - M2 is cheaper than the corresponding costs of shaft, but M3 is about 30,000 crystals or more. Upgrades - with each improvement, the range, power and maximum tilt angle increase. Weapon is exclusively for campers

I say Tanki should make updates that make tanki fun for everyone, not just buyers. Fix bugs, make HTML5 faster for lousy computers, ect. Allow format battles available for low rank. Maybe allow poeple to choose the MK of equipment.

Why would someone want to create a map without spawn protection?

Spawn protection is there for a reason.  Give us a better reason for it to not be available.

I suppose.

Then that's another setting I need to look for when joining battles - like that stupid friendly fire one.  So frustrating to end up in battles with that enabled.

I have an idea to set 10 posts per day limit for hiding posts

Hi guys, today I came with idea that maybe something wanted...

My idea is to set 10 hiding posts limit for a certain moderator to a certain member in the same day

so when a moderator trying to hide the 11th post for the same player in the same day, he will got an attention window to remember him "hey you have passed the daily limit... go to another one care about your life more"

and yeah...

This limitation makes no sense and only makes our job more difficult. If a post needs to be hidden, it must be hidden. If a single player spams dozens of useless posts, they must all be hidden and it doesn't matter which moderator does it. If you disagree about your post being removed, please message myself or @ControlledChaos via forum PM.
