A lot of times, the moderator who approves the idea, only put the status as a reply, and nothing else, and if the idea has the "merge" status, sometime they won't even reply. 

So, my idea is that the moderators should always write reply, no matter what status the idea has, and it should include either a personal opinion, or general facts that could be seen somewhere previously (like here). 

I know you, mods are busy with background work too, but we, who suggest ideas also spend some time on it (and don't even get rewards for it ? ), and it would be good to have at least a reply in exchange. I've been recently commenting on all ideas (or if not, then I reacted to a post that inlcude the info i could say, or just reacted to the idea becuase i like it), and it's not that hard, and doesn't take up a lot of time.

Also, in case of "merged", at least you could get notified when it becomes that.

The reason we don't always reply is because we don't always have an opinion regarding a certain idea. It's pointless to write something extremely generic just for the sake of adding a note. Things like "I guess it could work" or "somewhat interesting idea", etc. are completely pointless. Declined and invalid ideas always get an explanation stating why they got the status.

Meanwhile, the reason we always reply with a status message on Under Review and Valid ideas is so that anyone opening the topic can instantly see the idea status updates (and any potential future comments that we may add) right there in the first reply. It's pretty much a post reservation.  

For ideas getting the "merge" tags we don't need to make a post like that since the topic will get merged elsewhere anyway, and our reply would need to be removed or edited.

This is greatly appreciated. I love to see when frequent users actively encourage discussion in topics by leaving constrictive replies.

Understandable, but in most of the cases, replies like "Probably it won't/will be made, because devs mentioned in the...that they are thinking about it, so the status is...". We don't need text walls (that's the task of reporters :laugh:), but a short reply, as you said if possible, would be nice. (just saw that Spy did reply in the recent ideas, and that's nice)

That's exatly why merged ideas need a reply. Few months ago, i suggested some ideas, both were hidden for some days, and were already placed at the 3rd page when they became merged, and it wasn't comfortable to check it every time if they got a new status or not (when they were still hidden). Also, no one will check such topics mentioned above, because if you don't even know that there's a new idea in the 3rd page, you won't go there, and then it will be merged and forgetten in a category topic. Even "merged." reply is better than nothing.

This is indeed a problem, and we aim to solve it by approving such topics as fast as possible.

No, in fact he'd prefer not to add them at all unless necessary, as it's just a cheap and simple way to introduce more content (and more things for people to spend money on) without really improving gameplay all that much.

I didn't see a lot of suggestions related to status effects, nor i don't think that devs are planning to add a lot more if it isn't needed, so i don't think we need a category topic for it.

Similar thing has been happening to damage indicators for me lately. Which is why when I use a splash turret, I make it a habit to get close to a wall and shoot at it. If I damage myself, then the battle is working properly for me. If I don't damage myself, then most likely I won't be able to damage enemy tanks, so gotta leave the battle at that point.

I blame the YT comment that suggest that EMP salvo augment for gauss be added. That augment kicked off the release of all these turret augments with status effects built into them.

?  I am concentrating on MU my Driver too.  They ruined Trickster and now Driver.  Why can't they leave us alone?  Should have gone for Brutus!

i have a suggestion
in the upcoming arm race allow us to play with terminator also
like with tesla ig you have to do 15 kills or smthng
so reduce it and maybe add terminator

Actually Im soo happy driver got nerfed hard. And I dont really care if some of you guys hate this comment. Lets be real, the driver drone is one of the factors that made vikings OD extremely toxic with its previous ridiculous output it gave.

Actually Im soo angry that driver got nerfed hard. And I dont really care if some of you guys hate this comment. Lets be real, true, the driver drone can make vikings OD extremely toxic with its previous ridiculous output it gave. However, stuff like Booster also does nearly the same thing by boosting the turret's damage output but you can use it on any hull you want, and it works every 30 seconds. So why did Driver get nerfed but not Booster? Why is Booster still allowed to make turrets deal 4x damage?

I honestly thought Driver was fine before lol. It wasn't as broken as an near-unkillable Defender or a extra-life-hack-anti-death Lifeguard Drone.

Also, remember, Driver only works when you kill enemies. And with a lot of players using Defenders and Crisis, it's hard to kill them using Driver, especially since Driver doesn't provide any damage boosts, unlike drones like Booster and Crisis. And Driver doesn't provide any defense buffs either, so it's easier for enemies to kill you than if you were using a Defender, and prevent you from destroying enemies to charge the OD. Of course, Driver is good in a well-balanced match, especially in the lower ranks where the drones we unlock are more balanced with each other. But as we know, the drones as a whole.....aren't balanced at all. Driver really does suck against Defender and Booster, and from Marshal-Legend, those two drones are really the main drones being used among players, alongside rarer stuff like Mechanic for casual score-farming, Brutus for the poor people, and Crisis for the buyers and ultra lucky players.


It was Viking that was the problem. It's overdrive was the one that needed the nerf, not Driver. Or instead of a nerf, Viking's OD needed a rework - make the overdrive itself charge faster, but greatly reduce the power boosts given to the turret. A good change to start with is making Viking's OD no longer increase base damage per shot.

 

Another change I would suggest, is that instead of reducing most turrets' reload speeds to 0.5 seconds when using Viking's OD, instead, the OD now reduces reloads by a base decrease of like, 50%.

 

So now, stuff like Railguns no longer shoot every 0.5 seconds. they now shoot every 2 or 3 seconds because their base reload speed is halved. A sizeable nerf, but the faster OD charge rate I suggested would compensate.

Hit the nail on the head. Ever since the release of ODs, I have always complained about this particular OD, but people would dismiss this because they were too busy exploiting it themselves. I'm glad to see that people are gradually starting to wake up and see just how huge of an issue this thing is.

Booster is only limited to 3 seconds of extra damage which is very short. And can be countered by the lifeguard drone. Also booster consumes three supplies which people are loosing about 27-30 boosted damages a match. And minimal of 9-12 a match if used effectivly.

This would be another viable option I also have always complained about this od as well but always get people always supporting this hull. I even suggested a viking nerf but i knew I was walking into fire. XD 

Speaking of lifeguard, Im actually gonna invest in it as my next main drone. You know why I see more sniping turrets, Medium rage turrets, and short range turrets with booster.
