Hardly surprising. With over 1000 ideas currently under review, it's difficult to come up with a new, original idea that is useful, but also isn't ridiculous or game-breaking. In fact, most new ideas actually get merged into existing topics, since someone else posted it before.

 

Even then, I don't see how you came to the conclusion that "almost all" ideas get declined. In the past year we declined and locked 850 idea topics, but the number of valid ideas which got merged or put "under review" is over 1200.

Here's My Idea: There Should Be A Feature which allows you to invite everyone online in friendlist and We Should have the ability to set up a battle by writing the equipment which is allowed and disallowed.

Merge tag was added so people can discuss about the suggestion before it gets merge to another topic but lordmostafa have merged my post without adding the merge tag and letting other players discuss about it. My post was merged into V-log topic. But it should be here in I&S Section with merge tag for few days.

When it comes to ideas about recent updates, we merge them directly, since it keeps all discussion in one topic and helps developers collect feedback more efficiently.

That doesn't mean that all your wishes will be granted. Your feedback will be taken into consideration, but I can't guarantee that it will be acted upon.

Why do you reject ideas of going back to the past, when maybe, if you opened your eyes wider, and wider, and wider. You would see that maybe, even if you were not the smartest person unless you are like Roger, it should be quite obvious. Some old updates made this game thrive, made this game more enjoyable, made this game playable. You waste time accepting useless ideas or thinking about this, but you decline old ideas. (example)

 

No attack to @Maf or @Hate or any moderator, but the point of ideas and suggestions is to improve the game. A lot of administrators/developers (however you would like to call them), do not read the majority of the comments, nor take it in. As a former helper, I knew this as well, and a member of staff's opinion is heard with more "value" (I guess). This is my opinion on this, but I really would like to see this game improve.

 

Tanki 'ripped' us off a lot, and they made funny methods of "compensation" to overcome this fact. They removed features which this game was built on, they ignored how players felt when there were uproars even in the forum.

 

My idea: I would like for things to change, and hope Tanki would be more optimistic/open to ideas of the past or listening more intently to players' opinions.

 

I hope you can forward this to someone. Maybe you have a different opinion to me, maybe a similar, but it's just an idea. I still support Tanki at the end of the day, even if I am not playing.

The rule exists not because we hate ideas for bringing back removed things, but because such ideas are pointless. I&S exists so that players can share ideas that developers potentially haven't thought of before, so that they (devs) might think "oh, that's a cool idea, we should add that!". But if you're simply suggesting to bring back something that they decided to remove, you're not providing them with any original thoughts.

 

Obviously developers are aware of the features they removed and the reasons why they removed them, so bringing back something they removed is solely their own decision. Discussing those ideas is also rather pointless, since all the discussion already happened in the news topic that announced removal of that item/feature. posting about it again would result in the same replies and arguments.

I know how you feel and I want the same thing, but unfortunately developers' methods for planning the project's progress seem to differ a lot from what we actually want. I would love to see them occasionally (once a month or so) take a few days to just implement some small ideas that a lot of players have been asking for. That way they would make lots of players happy and, more importantly, regain some trust by showing that they listen to players' opinions. But it seems like this can't happen.
