Ideas Section Discussion

I believe that this section is a waste of time. After investigating the Russian forums, I realized that they only had a single topic for I&S, which clearly means that no one ever gets their ideas read because they are lost in the numerous posts that players have made (just look at the ideas for turrets/hulls threads. no one's ideas ever gets read because they are lost in the hundreds of other ideas in the same thread). If the devs don't bother listening to the Russians, why would they even consider listening to us?

In here, not only do I make sure that pointless topics are removed, and valid ones get approved, but we've been regularly reporting ideas to developers (since mid-2016) in a weekly report, to make sure the best ideas are noticed.

 

Even if devs don't have time to read and evaluate player ideas, I still enjoy the process of posting them and discussing them with others, like any discussion in any other forum section.

Pointless and inappropriate. What you were describing is only seen as something offensive by those who want to see it that way. If it was officially added to the list of punishable offences, that action would put developers and the administration in a bad light, making them seem immature for punishing what is normally seen as simple tank movement. It's like if they banned all instances of the number "69" in any context just because it is often used as a sexual reference.

you know, i agree with what you said. but i suggested my idea because I thought it'd fit with what you mods love to do;banning people for doing something only seen as offensive by those who want to see it that way

 

how did I get my first warning point? becaise i mentioned a sexual organ? I clearly used it as a refernce for gender identification in my context but nooooo you just had to ban me because people could also see what i mentioned as sexual

By the way, I'm pretty sure that most of the forum audience (myself included) has no clue what you mean by that idea, so adding a simpler explanation for the mere mortals would help generate a discussion :P

Good idea, but I don't know if it's worth its own topic. I'll probably merge it into "Ideas for Interface". Also, I'd much rather have the option to select a map or vote for it.
