HOT NEWS! Gauss Turret Released!

I also forgot to mention that the Gauss turret needs to have alterations. Right now, developers forgot to release alterations for the Gauss turret. Other needed visuals for the Gauss turret are skins. Please add an XT skin and a Prime skin to the Gauss turret. You must make those features for this newly released turret. Please don't wait too long like you did with Striker and Magnum. Players will very soon request skins and alterations for the Gauss turret. I am the first player to request these.

For extra Gauss visuals, please create shot color effects. These color shot effects will add lots of pizzazz and jazz up the look of Gauss shots. Please make shot colors available for Gauss.

First match felt really underwhelming. Past medium range you're left with a pathetic damage due to the weak damage kicking in, so your only choice is the charged shot, which gives ample time for shafts to just snipe you out. I tried it with dictator, maybe it fits better on other hulls. Of course, it was deadly when DD was active against unprotected hulls, but what isn't?

At m2 - it takes longer for sniper than expected.  And the shot is not instant.   Kinda meh so far - but thta could be in part due to the HORRIBLE LAG.  It's just brutal

Bit strange...So quickly released updates

Much good English.

Bought this turret on my alt, just because I wanted a quick test. Seems pretty damn strong, a better option to Thunder in a lot of ways (super shot more viable, you can basically snipe undetected as there's no scope) etc.

Nice update, but you could've at least changed the name to be a bit more special. I mean, it's a strategy like many games do. But 100% copy? Lol, it's nice though. Gg.

So if one game makes a gauss rifle, others are automatically not allowed to do that same?

Okay, it's really close to the damage a thunder deals with small caliber alteration, but it shoots faster too (Compared to m0 damage is nearly the same, but thunder would have 2.4s reload vs the 2s of gauss). It has the same range, turns slightly slower and it has the same impact force.

So if you're used to using thunder with the small caliber change instead of sledgehammer (Does anybody actually not use that?) gauss will feel like a direct upgrade, though the shot doesn't look (And I mean visually, it's just... A line that moves straight) like it packs a punch like thunder does.

Amazing =)

Btw  How M4 can be bought :x

It is not M4 Gauss I think it just got jumbled up since the M1 Gauss is labeled as M2 and M2 Gauss is labeled as M3

I like design, welcome Lamborghini Gauss ))  ;)

I did not notice that, lol  :)

On the first battle I played as soon as Gauss was released everyone was using it and it became overwhelming too keep getting hit by everyone and I couldn't see where they were since there is no laser. Also everyone was also using double damage and they kept one-shotting my m1 viking so I just gave up and used titan.

At m2 it seems weak - does not do enough damage.  I can't imagine how weak it will be when modules are equipped.

So... at m2, even in sniper mode-  it can't one-shot an unprotected wasp.  Yeesh...

Well if you look at the price and rank unlock, you'd notice that it is one of the "weaker" Stock M2s.

Look at Vulcan, Ricochet, Freeze and Railgun. All 3 have M1s at a high price with Ricochet being the lowest priced. And then they have M2 versions that unlock early and are cheap. This is because of it not having a large increase in statistics. I think of it like this:

You have 0 as a middle ground and -0.5 and 0.5 as the end of the spectrum. From M0-M1, some turrets have a big increase and the new ground for that turret may be around 0.2-0.5. Examples of these would be Railgun, Vulcan, Hammer, Thunder and Twins. For turrets like Smoky and Firebird, they would place around -0.3 to -0.2.

And then we have the M1 versions to the M2 versions. M2 Smoky has a high price and unlock rank as well as a large increase in statistics. It would put its rating up to around 0.4. M2 Isida and Freeze though, would be put around -0.2 to -0.3 since they had a mediocre increase in statistics from M0 to M1 but then a very small increase from M1 to M2. For Gauss, it has a mediocre increase from M0 to M1 and a small increase from M1 to M2. So a large increase in sniping damage isn't going to be expected.

And then you have what they told you about it being able to two-shot Vikings of the same modification. They kept their word since you'd be doing just that. And its unlock rank is earlier than the medium hulls' unlock ranks so it was expected (at least, by me) for it to not be able to easily one-shot its M2 medium hull counterparts from so early.

Wasn't expecting it to 1-shot a medium hull.  That's shaft...

But if you're going to create a "sniper" mode with a delay to fire, I would expect it to be able to one-shot a light hull.

It can one shot unprotected light hulls in sniper mode, if it has Double Damage activated.

Yes I know that.

And they can easily have DA activated.  It's not much of a sniper.   With that long of a warm-up it needs to be able to one-shot a light.

I figured there would be no Gauss information in the English wiki. Of course not, so I checked for the Russian wiki. Not there either. Sad.

There will be .. but the wiki editors take their time to add the new stuff and new information into wiki.

The wiki guys have to wait for official tables/figures released by the russian headquater before they are allowed to publish any data on that turret. So if you like to blame someone for not well-planning a turret's release, the wiki editors are the wrong ones.

See it positive.. when they reaased hammer, there was not even a protection module (for weeks). They learn :)
