Ares is a flying hull, but what would be the difference between it and a normal ground hull? Do some shots miss it because it's in the air? (I don't know, just a random guess) Will it never tip over? :o Just a few thoughts...

I think maybe the developers could make it able to change the height of it floating  :) . (Unless that's already done)

Nightmare for Shafts. Have to be ready for both Vikings and floating hulls, makes it a whole lot harder.

So wait... Wouldn't this be hands-down the best hull for Gold catching? If it's a hovertank then it would always be slightly above whatever it's driving on unless you fell onto it from a high place.

Dictator looks like it's still taller than Ares. And I thought it was off the ground by a significant amount but it's not. That may change though.

The devs said a few things about Ares in some livestream. It will be affected by mines, since it "doesn't fly really high".About rotating the hull, they said you will have to rotate your camera. Basically, your turret. And, you know when you move with one of the hulls forwards, your shots go a little up? In this hull's case, your shots will go down. Just a little, though. And when falling, it's engines "compensate" so the hull doesn't turn over. You still will be able to turn it over, but only with a lot of effort. OD! You already know it's going to be offensive. They said it has to do something with the cannon in the front. And that it will maybe be able to shoot through walls. That what I know, I hope you appreciate it :)

True, but I just meant that by function it should be able to climb very well since it doesn't have to worry about traction and such.

1) About rotating the hull, they said you will have to rotate your camera. Basically, your turret.

5) That what I know, I hope you appreciate it :)

1) So basically, the turret rotation ability is disabled? Interesting.

2) Also very interesting.

3) What do they mean by "compensate" for this hull?

4) Yeah, I wonder how it'll play out once it's completed.

5) Thanks for some new info. :)

Well, it's engines will try to "resist" turning over. It's engines work to keep your hull in a stable position. If you fall of a bridge or something, the engines will still try to keep the hull in a stable position. I believe that's what they meant. :)

Hmm, interesting. Guess we'll have to wait for the release to see it for ourselves. :)

I wish they would tell us a date more accurate that "this summer"

But then if we get past that date and the hull still hasn't been finished with development, it would look like the devs lied to us.

They were smart to tell us "this summer" because it gives them a much broader range of time to get it released.

Please give us more details about the Hover hull. I want to know more about this hull and its current development status.

No one knows the exact release date yet, in V-LOG:208 developers said that they are planning to release it in this summer and they are going to give us more details once it's closer to release date. So stay tuned and maybe it will be announce in one of the upcoming VLOG.

Is that how the physics of it actually work? Doesn't seem much different.

It's not actually how it works. The video is fake. Whoever made it simply replaced the 3d model of some hull in Tanks Testing Tool with Ares (not sure where they got it from), then overlayed the footage from TTT over the Tanki UI.

Ah ok, thanks. I was getting disappointed to be honest, the hull received its fair share of hype about this hover capability.
