Idea: x20 Golds Improvement

To be honest

Overdrives have really made other tankers mad during those x20 golds

I think during the duration of x20 or x10 Gold Box Rate, Special Overdrives should be "suspended" until the event is over

Overdrives should be put back to their normality like before, all supplies for teammates under a certain distance

Its a good idea im just saying :D

I personally disagree. The new overdrives make gold catching a lot more exciting, and the problem with Mammoths taking all golds easily should be better now that their overdrive lasts just 5 seconds instead of 10.

I think they should mix all of the mechanics they had for 20x golds. 

 

When a gold box is going to be dropped, it would either fall like how it is now, come down in a meteorite or spawn on the spot. If you could implement chances into that, you can put:

 

Falling: 60%

 

Meteorite: 35%

 

Spawn: 5%

And Wasp's Overdrive recharges faster and earns more charge per kill than the other hulls (sans Dictator). As well as Hunter effectively rendering Mammoth's Overdrive almost ineffective.

Also remove the gold box drop zones, because all it did was create massive pile ups and such a distraction from the actual battle.

 

If we removed the drop zone, it'd be like trying to find the Easter egg again, and that was what really made gold catching fun, plus you could still play the battle objectives.

I fell like this change would make a big impact, definitely more fun

Status changed to Declined

 

Overdrives won't be suspended, but I think I remember Hazel mentioning that something else will be done to balance ODs during golds.
