Retrieving Terrible Accounts

If, hypothetically, one had a high-ranked account that was really really bad and had 2700 crystals, what would one do to make that account better? I'll just make a random garage as an example. Let's say, it had:

 

Hulls:

M3 1/20 Wasp

M2 1/10 Hornet

M1 1/10 Mammoth

M0 Dictator, Hunter, Titan

 

Turrets:

M2 1/10 Freeze

M2 2/10 Isida

M2 1/10 Vulcan

M2 6/10 Railgun

M2 1/10 Shaft

 

Protection:

33% Rico

27% Rail

13% Vulcan

 

Supplies:

Literally 0 of everything

 

Anything else of note:

A badge from another tanker saying that the tanker who sent the badge did not spend the crystals on the account in question. I would take this to mean that several hundreds of thousands of crystals were spent, presumably saved up for a kit (?)

A badge from GrandExecutioner, saying that he had found the answer to the V-LOG 100 quiz. This was sent in 2016.

 

As you can guess, this is a real account. My friend who I met through OMP was telling me about it. What can he do? Any chance he should try to contact Tanki support to get his crystals back?

What should his game plan be to get this account back into play? It's Fieldmarshal.

If he had Dictator M2, he could have used that for free supplies and teamwork but it's M0 for him.

 

I'd suggest using Railgun with his Wasp or Hornet in medium to big maps. 6/10 should be good enough. His Freeze can be used in smaller maps.

Here's the plan:

3. Use the money you have to spend it on the game and get a full M4 equipment

That sounds too easy. We should all just do this :P

It could be argued that the middle steps could be ignored. The cost of the computer would be enough for M4 lol

I don't have details, since he's only gone 0.4 hours on drones according to his profile.

 

Being honest, participating in contests could help his account to earn more crystals.

Playing in PRO Battles with friends (the classic Wasp+Fire battles could help as is a common way to earn crystals fast and easy)

For MM, Freeze is a good choice for CTF as he can use DD and stop enemy tanks from taking the flag. Shaft too with DD for long maps such as Brest, Highland, Highways, etc. As he plays in MM he can also earn stars that can give him supplies and crystals, including missions. As Congo said, using Railgun and Wasp is also ideal but only if you have enough skills with Railgun.

If only, if only... if it was my account I could wreck them all Wasp/Hornet+Shaft - no supplies, the usual order for me.

Well, he probably has skills if he has M2 6/10, or at least thinks he has skills.

 

I've spent 2-3 hours thinking through his plan of action xD I could do pretty well if it were mine even with no supplies and only light hulls plus M2 turret vs. M3 hulls, but it's his so... ;)

1. He's lucky he his tank back
2. Make sure he changes the locks on his tank
3. Hit him up on the side of his head with the heel of your hand for being so careless with the keys
4. The highest combo in his garage is Railgun/Wasp. Rules say you have to use the highest turret and hull in the garage. It's under Sabotage.
5. I assume he doesn't have any crystals left. Keep up with the missions. This will help with getting supplies and crystals
6. After he has earned enough crystals, buy a battle pass. With that he can get top tier and low tier awards in the challenges
7. I understand xp/bp battles can earn a nice pile of crystals if he's good with Railgun. Some players play that mode exclusively for the earning potential
8. If possible, buy Premium. You will get supplies and crystals every day for free after the restart. (It's not really free since you have to buy the Premium, but you don't have to fight for them either.)
9. Don't spend any crystals on MUs until he has a good stash of crystals to spare
10. Don't buy anything he can live without. 
11. Somewhere at this point, buy and upgrade protection modules. 
12. Don't carry the tank keys around in his "pocket". Safeguard them by putting them in the safe. Don't let anyone know the combination to the safe and make sure no one is looking over the shoulder. He obviously either let someone use his account at some point or logged on to Tanki while someone was looking at his keyboard. If his account was hacked, he would have lost his whole account, not just crystals. 
13. Does he know what the crystals were spent on? Or did they seemingly just disappear? 

That's my opinion. He basically is starting over, except for hulls and turrets. 

 

If the person that sent him the badge didn't spend the crystals, then that means more than one player was on his account. It's possible he knows who logged on to his account.  Hopefully, this is a lesson learnt.

Hornet rail or dictator rail seem to be the safest means of completing missions to rack some containers.

 

Even m0 dictator can prove useful (I successfully used m1 at 4 stars, though I did have thunder m3 with it), double damage is always a great asset. Especially if you have nothing to activate it on your own.

 

Alternatively... Shaft hornet, I guess, since it would basically oneshot vikings regardless when overdrive is active.

 

I wanted to say to defend/heal with mammoth isida, but that's not gonna work without supplies... Though there are few modules around.

How high is "high rank"?

Are you still able to by a M3 product kit?

 

 

. You need to play, ... to play a lot to get enough crystals to upgrade your combo.

. Be motivated: In your process you will lose often and get low rewards. Don't get angry if someone tell you that that your garage sucks, it is the way it is, just play.

. Decide now which combo you want to go with. Select a product kit (check if you can achieve it in time) and buy it. Then upgrade it during discount.

. Play everyday and do the easy mission, 2 per day, change them if you can for free on your mobile. 

. When you have completed 2 missions and have spar time then switch to XP/BP if you like this format, because you won't need protection module nor supplies.

. Play longer during double or triple found. 

. Save, save save. And use your crystals only on discount days.

. If you want to upgrade your protection module then stop around 40-42%. But make sure you have 3 of them at least at m3 level. If you by a product kit M3, then you will already have one.

. in battle where your rank is bottom, don't get in the way and support from the back (e.g. Isida or snipping).

. in battle where you are top rank, you can be more adventurous.

. do tanki contest, easy crystal guarantied :)

He cannot buy a kit with that rank, unfortunately, unless he shells out the real cash.

In the current state of the game an highly upgraded gun will do much better than an highly upgraded hull (Unless you're using short range stuff like firebird, that is). So I would focus on getting an m3 weapon and the optimal alteration for it, if there's one.

5. If #4 isn't possible, then make Grand's channel to go out of the box by making other type of content

I've attempted to revive two of my accounts that were not being used enough to make crystals to compete. I have successfully revived one of them, thanks to the two buffs Vulcan received and the joy of playing Dictator. I was able to save up weekly containers on that account, some regular containers and now I have close to 100k crystals on it, and even though it has less than 5 upgrades on the turret and hull, I am quite comfortable. The same can't really be said for the second account I'm trying to revive - the account of the player who introduced me to Tanki. 

 

Back in the years when we played together, along with a few others, playing with M1 equipment at wasn't something that made you useless. You still had fun and still got good scores. I used M1 equipment all the way up to back then. The player' account had M2 Isida on it and M1 Hornet (8/10). Slowly, I tried to get the crystals to get the last micro-upgrade to get it to M2 but it was hard with how weak the equipment I had was. I missed 4 sales where I could have gotten it but I ended up getting it the other week. It is now M2, but with 1/10 upgrades. The Isida is 2/10. 

 

I barely had supplies. i ahve hundreds of mines and double damages but my double armour, speed boost and repait kit counts were low, especially my RK count. it kept going down. I tried my best to utilise Isida's low HP per second healing to get points. I saved 8 weekly containers on it and wanted to open it when I ranked to , but my repair kit, double armour and double damage count was too low. I did some calculations and it wouldn't give me a lot more if I opened it at instead of , so I opened them and now I have a semi-comfortable stack of supplies, my RK count is still less than 100. 

 

A deterring factor was the weekly mission i had. Just my luck, the account received a "Place in the Top 3 in the winning team x 15" mission. I did many battles and only got 1/15. I was giving up hope that that account could be turned around. And then, Overdrives happened. The only hulls I could really use on that account is M2 Hornet and M1 Viking (with 5/10 upgrades). I decided to use Viking with Isida first to rack up the Overdrive charge,  and then change to M1 Railgun or M1 Thunder and use the Overdrive with that. It proved well and I was able to get some numbers on the Top 3 x 15 mission. 

 

Now, I use Isida with Hornet to get the Overdrive charge and then change to Thunder or Smoky and use it. I was able to get two container so far, but it let me down with 3,500 crystals (my crystals count was low so it didn't matter) and 50 batteries (anything else would have been appreciated, but no, give me batteries  <_<) I'm trying to enjoy my time on the account as much as I could. I'm on 11/15 right now and I'm looking to finish it this week with enough effort. Here are some enjoyable battles I've had with it:

This one was earlier this morning. I got 6 kills on severely wounded enemies at the start. 5 of those kills were from 2 Viking Overdrives.

I'm getting it back on track. protection modules are a slight concern but I'm more concerned about buying another turret to go with Hornet. I may go for Railgun so that I can play XP/BP when not in MM. I may buy Gauss but I'm not sure.

That account had supplies on it, and had a somewhat acceptable turret and hull combination. That account needs an M3 turret to stay competitive, and it needs supplies since it's on a light hull. Try to utilise the hulls' Overdrives to the fullest in trying to get it back. Try you luck in containers. Mine wasn't good on that account but it may get better in the future.

Stick to pro battles until you have enough to buy the 100 supply kit in the garage.  Then move to MM, and carefully manage your drugs so you use the least amount possible while still being competitive and completing missions. From there, just keep saving drugs until you've got a good stash.

 

I'd also upgrade rail/hornet to m3 during a sale, rail is insanely good with hornet's OD.

Save for Rail M3, then keep going. Join a Russian clan. Make friends in mafia. Use mafia contacts to infiltrate Tanki. Help them with “legal issues” (set up illegal money laundering ring that allows TO to double profits). Use contacts in TO head office to set up third tier for challenge, featuring free M3s. Ignore it and play XP/BP. Repeat from step 3.
