Archipelago should have portals or tunnels.

 

awwww :(

 

If you have PRO Pass you can go to Archipelago MM in Battles List.

 

Then selfdestruct if you want to hopefully go to the other islands.

Duplet reload is now even slower, I don't know why you nerfed it twice, In a 1v1 situation all turrets can beat you I don't get why u nerf it even more....

Not going to waste 5k just to see a map. Let me wait.

There are 3 islands and 1 of them looks like the Island map we know, the other 2 are a little different.

 

You can shoot from island to island with some mid and with all long range weapons and if you die you may spawn in a new island or in the same island.

 

DM and TDM seem to be okay in this map, but CP is a little frustrating.

On Archipelago? Easy to escape the bomb - lot's of houses to hide behind. With M3 hulls no problem.

So Hunter and wasp at disadvantage as their ODs don't work through obstacles and can't help across the island gaps.

You're not supposed to need to reload.  ;)   One(two)-and-done.

Before the nerf, M4 Duplet reloaded its clip in 5.5 seconds. After the nerf, M4 Duplet reloads its clip in 5.75 seconds. I don't consider that a considerable nerf.

That wasn't the case between October 31st and January 25th. And its double-shot mechanic is what makes it so annoying and powerful. You can steel yourself and prepare for a duel from an unexpected Stock Hammer shot to your back. But if it's a Duplet Hammer, you're dead before you can even react in-game. 

 

Every Hammer in high-rank battles were Duplet, I am just yearning to figure out why that is. I couldn't be that it was just too powerful and a better choice than Stock hammer, could it?

I have a very unique idea for Archipelago map,

 

I think there should be something like a "Galactic disc" which let's you go from one island to another, once you pass that gateway you'll be able to enter on a different island. This will be more useful since bridges and tunnels can be exploited. Plus, it will bring a very interesting thing to the game dynamics.

Good idea. Teleporting Discs would be better than gateway portals or transporting tunnels.

Overall good news and fair re-balancing. Good new on the maps as well. As far as WAR, I think you guys were a bit ambitious as to when we would get to 6 million, I mean some of us are grown ups who have jobs we have to go to so we can't play 24/7. Just saying!

HUGE DOWN VOTE ON

 

Archipelago in CP mode .. all it ends up being is a one sided base cp battles . you can place blue on one side . but if its all ready overwhelmed in red you stand no chance of taking the base. also now more players are sitting on bases to rank the score and stop the other team from getting points in score..

 

the only way to play on this map , is shoot others on other Island to help team mates out if your lucky.

 

for DM sure it can work only if your not teaming up with friends / clans.

 

also finding battles MM that are less then 4 minutes to play in . happening too many times now. also fix the huge lag issues

I'm serious, it took me 5 minutes to realise, that every combo I used to play with needed 5-second booster. I'll need to learn how to play DM without booster, but in fact I love to see, that DM battles are decided by actual game and not if you have booster or don't. Thanks for the change.

Nice update at all. But why don't you consider changing Viking overdrive? Is it normal for an M2 Fire 5/10 to kill a Titan WITHOUT SHIELD which uses drugs for all the duration of the overdrive?

I'm serious, it took me 5 minutes to realise, that every combo I used to play with needed 5-second booster. I'll need to learn how to play DM without booster, but in fact I love to see, that DM battles are decided by actual game and not if you have booster or don't. Thanks for the change.

 

 

Upgraded Trooper is great in DMs. Always equip it.

That's normal, if you die, you die.

 

However, it does have a long recharge rate and at least 9 different ways to counter it.

Nah, that's not as good. It's gotta be a total respawn.

Teleporting is like respawning, you disappear in one disc and you appear in the other.

 

Two discs per island, each facing the other island.

 

And teleporting discs would enable the possibility of having CTF and RGB if devs add another island.
