I just like how they keep nerfing Duplet, although it isn't a considerable nerf. And as I expected, they made Adaptive Reload more appealing for the Duplet users to jump to, and with this change, [DieselPlatinum}, Adaptive Reload becomes a direct upgrade to Hammer.

Ricochet's alterations needed those buffs. The Plasma Torch buff isn't that big though. Plasma-Torch.png

The Beserk buff, however, is.

Disappointed with booster nerf. The only m4 drone i play with and they nerf it, wasn't necessary, It's not that OP anyways  <_<

Why is that one the only M4 Drone you play with? What about Defender? Or Lifeguard? Or Blaster? Why Booster specifically

Seriously, you are going to nerf my favorite turret?!?!?!?!

That is a buff.

Guess it's decided that I buy gauss m2 then, literally impossible to lose aim with a 2s grace period now  at first read I assumed they meant the reload time was doubled, but aiming recovery time is just the grace period before you lose charge.

Quite sure being able to use the insane damage 3x as often is actually a buff, even if it lasts for 3s instead of 5. What turret needs 5 full seconds to kill something under a 6x damage buff?

Agreed, Cross is not only one of the earliest maps, but also the best!

Relative to Hammer, it is highly overrated; because if you fail to kill a tank (~90% of the time), then you are Quite Royally Screwed.

Also, on a side note,

Seriously, you are going to nerf my favorite turret?!?!?!?!

Cross is too small for 16 tanks.  Same with Molotov.  DMs on those maps will be just silly.

They should have added Skylark and Deathtrack.

How you figure buffing the lock-on recovery time is a nerf?

Large Calibre Rounds Railguns and Magnums that released a 0% velocity shot.

?

They only need 1 shot to make the kill.  Reload will not come into play...

It would if they need to get another shot in. What if that first shot didn't kill them because they had protection against the turret?

It's possible for an M4 heavy hull with 50% Railgun protection and double armour to survive a max-levelled Booster Drone-powered LCR Railgun shot.

Leave freeze alone...

Idk, Freeze did feel powerful, at least, in the lower ranks. The higher ranks can stay the same but it's really frustrating the lower you go with all these M2 and M3 Freezes at - .

Interesting changes!

Gauss change is nice. Most likely won't affect its actual strength by much, but it will definitely help make the lock-on system a bit more useful, since it's so incredibly frustrating when you're about to lock-on, but lose the target and the progress resets. It's part of the reason why I've been avoiding both Striker and Gauss.

The instant reload alts for Rico and Hammer are really interesting to play with, but very difficult to use effectively. This is a nice improvement that will hopefully make them a bit more playable.

Defender drone seems kinda OP (on top of drones being OP in general), based on the description. 20 seconds is an incredibly long time, so its balance will greatly depend on how much the defence boost has been nerfed.

As for Booster... well, RIP Booster. It was fun, but honestly way too powerful, especially with rapid fire turrets. It will still be useful after this nerf, but not nearly so powerful that it would make no sense to use any other drone besides it.

Now the maps I'm really excited about. We haven't seen a brand new map since... Yorkshire or Cologne, right? So that will be fun to check out.

Molotov is one of my favourites, so that's cool. Not sure about Cross in MM though, but we'll see.

Rest of the minor changes also seem good.

But you can't just activate it repeatedly whenever you want. You have to either activate your own DD, or pick one up off the ground. In most cases you'll just activate it, use up the 3 seconds of power and then play normally until you respawn and activate it again. So the increased recharge will definitely be helpful in some situations, but it surely doesn't compensate the 40% duration nerf.

Compared to striker locking on with gauss is child's play. And the damage is still devastating enough for me to start to prefer it to striker...

I just checked, the original reload is 10 seconds, I assumed it was much more. So in the end it doesn't affect players much, but it adds a time nerf. Oh well.

Should be XxRailgun currently... I believe uranium will change things (I've used it plenty already, but I have different hulls/modules than in that other account), but for these 3 ranks gauss will be my best friend.

RIP booster? This is definitely a massive buff, now it will literally work for 3 seconds, then pause for 3 seconds and so on.

You forget the fact that it only activates when you collect or utilize a double damage... So 10s or 3s doesn't make much of a difference.

If a player can control a double damage drop zone, then they are all-powerful. They can use it manually and get a big damage boost. Then 3 seconds later, they can go over the supply drop and get another 3 seconds of boosted damage.

Pretty good changes to be honest, most of them were actually what I felt should be done and I think others could have also felt the same, I like the changes! But yeah, as always, let's also try it out before judging it's a good or bad change.

Excited to try out the new map "Archipelago" and the 2 new maps in MM, but I'm not happy with Forest no longer available in ASL mode. :/

That's a product kits problem.

And plenty other turrets that can be unlocked early and then micro-upgraded. Freeze is not the only one.

It isn't the only one, but it's the one that unlocks the earliest.

But I suppose nothing can really be done about that since I doubt they'd revert the kit unlock ranks in the shop.

It would be so much better if they went in detail about why they made each change.

As you see, some were expecting a Gauss Nerf.

One poster said 'you're nerfing my favorite turret', favorite why? because it's OP; then another player said 'Gauss needed a nerf', thinking the turret was nerfed instead of buffed.

I don't know at high ranks, but at low and mid ranks it is OP.

And Dictator OD didn't need a buff, it's actually OP if you use it well or play coordinating with a Group.
