Containers first appeared in the game back during the Black Friday Celebrations in 2017. The same year, on December 24th it was announced that it will remain in the game forever.

 

Since then, the first question that whizzes through our mind while opening our Containers is "Should I open my Containers one by one?", "You get the best rewards if you open 15 containers at once?" or sometimes, "is opening all my Containers at once worth it?"; Even though the wiki clearly says that the percentage chance for a high tier item doesn't change with how the Containers are opened.

 

This has risen my curiosity - and of course I'm sure that you may also have had this at one time or the other - as to how other players open their Containers, like, what are their beliefs and which one of the 3 options is most trusted or popular among players (and blah, blah, blah  :ph34r:).

 

So for the sake of that, here in this topic I have set a poll where you can vote on how you open your Containers or which one of the three options you think is the best way to open the containers that you think may give out the best reward(s). This can help you get a clear information at a glimpse on what option is most used by players (if enough players vote *coughs*).

 

Moreover, you may also share your personal Beliefs & Myths that you follow while opening your Container(s) below. :rolleyes:  

 

If you ask me, I don't open my containers immediately when I receive it, I wait for some hours & then I open them 1 by 1, you may call this as my Belief or Myth for opening Containers as I feel I get the best item when I do so. (most of the times)

I've tried all the options mate, and believe me :) I got supplies only.

Edit: I got my first skin from containers 1 year ago, I used the 1st option, and from what I can see in YTubers videos, they get the rare itmes when they open 1 by 1.

I think opening 15 only prevents getting same item more than 5 times (so instead of 15 speed boost packs i am usually getting 5 speed boosts and 5 mine packs)

And its literally the only difference. If that is fake i should have already gotten 50k speed boosts by now

I just open them as I get them. Usually, I get Uncommon stuff.

15 at a time. The earlier you get a green glow (like before the 8th container in a series of 15), there is a good chance you will get an epic as the final container.

I always do 1, I'm not patient enough to keep a possible reward that doesn't change as I rank. The only time I did a pair of 5x was when I got battle pass in june at tier 35 so I got a bunch of containers.

Personally, I think opening one by one is a bad idea, because we mostly get supplies when we do that.

Here is a better question:

 

If I opened the game at 10:00 am, open a container at 11:00 am and got 3,500 Crystals, go back in time, open the game at the same time, but open the container at 10:30, would I still get 3,500 Crystals?

 

If I were to open the game at 6:00 pm, open a container at 6:30 pm and get 100,000 Crystals, go back in time, open the game at 5:00 pm and and opened the container at 6:00 pm, would I still get 100,000 Crystals?

I open them one by one (and have always done) because I don't think saving them up makes any difference. I think there's a lot of confirmation bias with containers.

I don't get Containers quick enough to open them more often than one by one. However, the one time I bought the Battle Pass, I immediately earned 15 Containers. I opened them one by one, and I got one mor Common than Uncommon, and got my first Legendary.

 

I've never opened 5 or 15 in one go, so idk.

I don't think I've ever opened 15 at once before, but I've seen videos about it and by the looks of it, it's almost like a guarantee that you'll get an epic, legendary, or exotic at the end.

 

I've opened 5 at once, and it's still a better chance than just one that you'll get something good, I've gotten 6 or 7 rates, 2 legendaries, and an exotic total on all of my accounts.

 

I almost never get anything good, just essential stuff like supplies or crystals mainly when opening one at a time.

True, I have given some thought on your Suggestion and I think it's a good one and a great supplementary to this Topic but the only thing that stops me from doing it is, there are a lot of Tanki YouTube Channels with numerous Container opening videos so it's practically impossible for me to collect all of that data and place it in one topic (or maybe I can do it if i spend all my time in doing it). But anyways I might find a way to implement that in the near future, Thank you!    ^_^
