Tankoins in weekly containers

Alright, perhaps they may have undershot it. I'm looking at this with the same mindset as this:

If this is the correct amount they've decided on, then I can assume that they have plans for accumulating Tankoins in many other areas in the game in small increments. We don't have much information further they being available in Challenges, so I expected backlash like this if the number seemed too low. 

 

All I can say is play the waiting game and try not to think too much about the weekly containers. Like Drones. Implement them and then leave them for a year. After a year, you see drone usage increased as well as many more max-levelled drones on the battlefield.

ok give this post a like if you feel tanki should just revert the game back to exactly how it was in 2015, where the newest gun was Vulcan, paints had protection (you didn't have to pay for alterations), XP/BP was popular as hell, and Daily Missions allowing you to gain crystals at a "reasonable" pace....

 

i mean buyers were a thing back then, but i mean now, even the buyers are complaining

What is the definition of "quite a bit of effort"?

- 2 weeks?

- 1 month?

- 1 QTR year?

- 6 months?

Anything more than 1 month surpasses "quite a bit of effort" in my books. 

It is true that the specific mechanics of how Tankoins would be distributed and how often were left ambiguous here, but I talking about the general purpose and design of Tankoins. In Cedric's post, there was some vague mumbo-jumbo about how they would make things fairer and bring balance to the game - with little concrete information on what their role was or what the developers' intentions behind them were. In the v-log, as well as the original Tankoins post, it was pretty clear to me that Tankoins were not going to be something that free players would have ready access to, even if the specific number free players could regularly get was not reported. It was even said in the v-log that weekly containers would give you a small amount of Tankoins, and that is how it has turned out.

 

Challenging?

 

The Difficulty Level in Tanki goes like this : Normal-->Hard-->Challenging-->No-Lifer-->Mental issues-->Tankoins

I think it's a bit early to judge. I think that the main way for free players to obtain any substantial amount of Tankoins will be through events - whether challenges, or contests, or tournaments. I have played several other games with a premium currency like Tankoins, and in all of them, regular play would give you a minuscule amount, while taking part in aforementioned events would give you more reasonable quantities.

a bit unrelated, but did the devs ever say anything about having containers give tankoins as well?

No, as I remember, but there's higher chance that devs adding Tankoins to containers  :D

Right, but Cedric said they would try to “strike a good balance” between free and buyer players. THREE TANKOINS is a complete JOKE if you do the math, it’s like free pennies on the street every week,

Don't forget about tankoins that will be dropped in contests , events and challenges ( don't imagine that the weekly container because they are easy then they will give u high number " they need to put more tankoins in something that is time consuming .. and what do u think is the time consuming these days in the game ? Challenges.

Worst Update! :(

Add more 10 or 12 TANKOINS  in weekly container and we will get 13 or 15 TANKOINS per Container or only we wil get 10 tankoint per container. It's hard - earn tankoins from  weekly containers and buy something in the Shop... I'm talking about this! WORST UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!

Make it easier or u will lose players.

1- Better than 0 tankoins in weekly containers

2- if they put more ... then say rip to the economy of the game 

3- You can get tankoins from events and contests and challenges ( in the free tier .. time consuming yeah .. but possible )

They know that u can take 2 hours or less to finish missions everyday and they want you to play more so they put more tankoins in challenges escpecially because tankoins have a high value now in the game .. so if they make it easier , you'll get bored fast and leave because it will be easy to get everything.

Think well about it again before you decide.

If you want to have a lot of tankoins and have cool stuff you have two ways :

1- Play 

or

2- Pay

I seriously think containers should include more Tankoins. With every weekly container only containing a terrible 3 Tankoins, it will take a lifetime of playing in order to get 50 containers, let alone 100. I feel like they should make it something around 10-15 Tankoins per weekly container, and a chance to receive more, but this chance will be rare (Like getting an animated paint from normal containers). 

 

Anyways, can't give away any ideas, I will make a new Tanki News Show, and report on this in-depth  :ph34r:

As far as I understand, Tankoins are just a replacement for the shop currency, along with which they have made a possibility for free-to-play to also earn them. If you want Tankoins, you must purchase them, meanwhile, you could also earn a few Tankoins for free from Weekly Containers, etc on the run.

At low ranks any player can easily complete two Weekly Missions (10 and 20) in a week. That's 15 Toins per Week. If they give 10 Toins, players would be able to get 50 Toins in a week. If they give 15 Toins, players would be able to get 75 Toins in a week. And that would be too much, many would be able to get rename pass in less than a year or a good kit, I think 5 would be more reasonable.

You get a MAX of 6 container per week.  Many accumulate less than that because of 1st weekly mission and because of the 20-mission weekly mission.

 

You think accumulating weekly containers is not time consuming?

i don't really understand what these no brainers are complaining about... 

increasing shop prices means buyers will get less stuff for spending the same amout of money... which also means the game becomes less P2W

yet some people equate this excuse to increase shop prices  as making the game more P2W

I found the answer myself  :D

They include Tankoins 

Following are the definitions of OLD & NEW weekly containers 

 

Old weekly containers - Unopened weekly containers that you've claimed before server restart of 9th August. i. e. The unopened weekly containers that were in your garage before 9th August 

 

New weekly containers - Weekly containers that you claimed (by clicking the Claim button) after server restart of 9th August 

 

Also the new weekly containers have color effects for items, like in regular containers  :)
