Separate Modification skins from the turrets

I think the idea is simply explained from the title " Separate Modification skins from the turrets "

 

How will it work ? + Advantages and Disadvantages

As you know , every modification has a different skin and if you want to use a special modification skin you need to have the modification of the turret.

Example : I like the skin of Gauss M2 . Then I need to have the m2 ..But what if i have m3 for example , i can't use the M2 Skin.

How will it work then ? The modification skins will be separated from turrets. That means that you can use gauss m2 skin equipped with gauss m3 power. And , if you have m3 , you'll have the skins of previous modifications!

What does that mean?

That means if you Have Magnum m3 , I can equip the magnum m2 or m1 or even m0 skin.

What if i have Magnum M0 ? I wont be able to equip magnum m1 or m2 or m3 skin but i'll be able to play with m0 skin.

What if i have Magnum M1 ? I will be able to equip magnum m1 and m0 skin but i won't be able to equip m2 or m3 skin

What if I have Magnum M2?I will be able to equip magnum m1, m2 and m0 skin but i won't be able to equip  m3 skin

 

That means it will be like M4, You don't know the M4 from the skin , you know it from the GS.

 

Advantages 

1. You'll be able to play with the skin you like for your turret , and you'll have the full choice of your equipement.

2. The Gear Score " GS " will have a big importance and players will need to check their enemies GS.

 

Disadvantages

1. Some players see their enemies turret and hull , Like me , to know the enemy power , but this will be useless because now there is XT and prime so anyway you'll need To know your enemy GS, so if we separate Modification Skins from the turrets like XT and Prime , players won't know their enemies Power

 

And here comes the important thing that you need to put with the idea :-

You need to put the GS next to the player name above the tank in the battle next to the protection icon so i can see the GS without pressing any key on my keyboard.

 

Wait .. Wait .. will these skins Affect my GS ? Of course they will , but just like XT or Prime so not a big difference.

I somehow doubt this will be a thing, but considering you can already equip an XT/Prime skin onto M0, they may as well make it so that any skin can be used with any M.

Great idea. It is better to separate skins from turrets. Having M0, M1, M2 and M3 skins for both XT and prime is the best from this idea. Skins are not upgradable but they should have different built-in modifications according to their looks and the look of the turret itself according to turret modification. Skins should apply the same to hull as well. You forgot to mention about hulls skins as well.

Developers confirmed that this will not happen. The idea is about using the already existing M0, M1, M2 and M3 skins and being able to switch them out and equip the one you want.

Good idea. Give every hull and turret an M0 skin, then remove all other modification skins, and give those skins in challenges or sell them.
