Silliest Thing You've Done in Tanki

As a complementary topic to the "Stupidest Sight in Tanki Today" thread, here you can list not something that someone else did, but something that you did.

 

I'll start.

I saved up enough for Harvester on my low Vulcan account ( Master Sergeant) and so I decided to wait till it came to the garage. After a couple weeks, it finally came out this week. I went on to check, and saw it there. But then I noticed - I only had 18K crystals instead of 31K! I thought I'd been hacked, and since there was only one day left I didn't see a way to get all the crystals. About five minutes of frantic thinking later, I realized I had signed into the wrong account... so just before I had a heart attack, I realized my mistake, signed on the right account, and, er, proceeded to claim the kit, with a slightly lower opinion of my intelligence.

 

Anyone else?

a mod banned someone forever

at that time i didnt really know that much about rules or moderation

 

i ended up using some of the most absurd words in EN16 (yes i remember the server it was on)

 

i joined a battle

i got an incredible kill with my new rail m1

i was about to type something like "OMG WHAT A SHOT"

only to see:

"you have been disconnected from chat, you will be on air in 167 hours and 54 minutes."

 

probably never gonna try that again

and that was my ONLY ever 1 week ban i got

I forgot that I was on the blue team and attempted to take the blue flag over and over again for about 2 mins. I got reported for multing.

There's been a few times I've forgotten which team I was on and tried to shoot my teammates. I was wondering why my shots were going right through them. The solution hit me that I must be lagging really bad....until I looked at my life bar and realized the ones I was shooting at had life bars, too. 

 

I know, sounds stupid. But when you play several battles back to back and are put on the same color team back to back, then suddenly get changed to the other color, it gets a little difficult to keep up.

Buying too many M1 kits, in fact, so many, that I don't have enough crystals to micro-upgrade.

 

Honorable mentions: Shooting a Shaft in sniping mode with my railgun (yesterday)

Yeah... don't overclock your computer. And if you are using Window computer (especially laptop), do not change the Power Plan to High Performance. Your device will perform better at the start, but after a while, you will start to experience FPS lag because of higher CPU utilization to cool down the device.

I have it on battery saver all the time. But when it's charging, it's on high performance. I'm going to change it.

Won't Flash just be abandoned on Chrome? Speaking of which, can I point out that after December 2020 (when Chrome completely disables Flash) I won't be able to play GTanks... sad :(

That's right. Change the power plan, don't let that annoying FPS ruin your battle performance.

 

Me have Flash Client as well. That's where I took all of my Tanki snapshots. Nowadays, when I play, me set the language as Russian.

I might set the language on my one to Deutsch, because I (partly) speak German.

 

I care about ping though, I get an average of 150 ping (constant)

I homeschool so I learn using Rosetta Stone - in the USA many teachers use Google Translate to teach languages because they don't know them themselves  :wacko:  :lol:

 

I use accents in Google Docs and I also installed a German keyboard on my Microsoft Surface, but there was an update and now I can't find the button to switch ;)

Did you know, someone warned @Hate, @Yele and many more more moderators/administrators saying that they're fired.

 

Also, @MrThunder got banned along with @Ghost_Animator_Shaft and a lot more former/current YouTubers for an hour, for bad reasons (usually with profanity) and also impersonating @Yele and Godmode_ON with a ban code.

 

Luckily, they didn't warn @Maf :lol:

 

He got his account permanently banned, I think.
