Change the descriptions of Alterations that were buffed/nerfed in the past.

I've been keeping my eye on this for a while. I find it...disappointing, that alterations' parameters are being tweaked and the descriptions for them stay the same. For example, Duplet:

It has received 3 nerfs since its implementation. All of which impacted its clip reload time. It was decreased from Stock, which warranted the "and to quickly reload" part of its description. Then it lost its clip reload decrease and reloaded at the same speed as Stock. And then 2 nerfs after, it reloads 15% slower than Stock. Its description is no longer fully accurate.

Adaptive Reload:

Now, I don't know what their definition of "a long time" is, but I'm pretty sure that 5.5 seconds is barely longer than 5 seconds.

When you look at High-Capacity Ammo Clip's description, it says "Reload becomes longer". You see, if that sentence were to be put with Adaptive Reload, and AR's "for a long time" would be put with H-CAC, it would be much more accurate for each, especially before H-CAC's buff recently.

Missile Launcher "Uranium":

Its 2 nerfs were nerfs to its shot reload time. Why not say this in the description?

Missile launcher "Hunter":

Its buff allowed a 40% decreased reload after a salvo. That should be added to its description.

Incendiary Band:

This alteration's damage when not overheating was reduced by 10% 3 days after it was implemented. And later, reduced by 20%. Should not that decrease in DPS be mentioned in the description?

Rapid-Fire Mode:

This alteration received 2 nerfs. One to its maximum sniping damage by a whopping 30%, and another to its energy recovery rate. These 2 are big nerfs together yet are not mentioned in the description.

Heavy and Light Capacitors:

It is not mentioned in the description that the turret rotation in sniping mode is decreased and increased respectively.

"Death Herald" Compulsator:

In this alterations description, it states that "the base reload speed is reduced". However, it is not the base reload speed anymore that is reduced, but the delay before firing a shot.

Automated Gunpowder Loading Mechanism:

Its clean reload time was increased by 20%, but is not stated in the alterations description.

Tell the players exactly what they're going to get with these alterations. The inconsistencies are made worse by the fact that Shot Stabilisations's description was changed to describe its effects after it was changed in accommodation with the addition of the latest 31 alterations last year.

The fact that some alterations give more detail than others just makes the other alterations come across as lying by omission. As what you get is a lot worse than what is stated.

Valid

These are considered to be minor issues not worth fixing individually. The architecture of the current interface is poorly set up, meaning that to change something as small as a typo, one needs access to full development permissions and specific knowledge of how the interface works. However, the new interface is said to be a great improvement in terms of the internal structure, and may potentially even allow CMs to edit in-game text without intervention from developers.

Ouch, I was afraid that this would have been the first response. I would have thought that updating the description would entice buyers to buy what sounds powerful, but I guess I was wrong.

Well, I guess that answers this issue. I was actually going to talk about it again the same day I posted this and ask how much money would it take/how much effort is required to change one letter.

Very nice.

It's been some years but they are in fact updating the descriptions of augments slowly. Though many of them that I expected to be fixed by now are still outdated, like Cryo and Incendiary Smoky stating it reduces critical damage when that hasn't been the case for almost a year.

Oh I didn't notice that I was reading a 2019 topic, which was on the Flash version. Anyway, I think this is a complicated problem and changing the description of the items is a bit too hard especially for the items who have a rhetorical description. They may not be able to reform it with the new changes, they may need to change the whole story and invent a new description.

So the easiest solution is to have a numerical/statistical info in the garage instead of the current vague information (like this tmpClIx.png), by accessing this, I pretty sure most of the players would just jump directly to the statistical info than the long description.

In sum, leaving the info as they're is just an explicit lying. They have to either change the description of every changed item or show the statistical info.

Yeah just show stats. IDK give players with rank Marshal+ "Pro-setting" in interface, that gives another window with stats))

What a coincidence!! I have just created the absolutely same topic past year. Definitely this is completely needed if Tanki consider.
