hi tanki, i just dropped a gold for me and my friend,and we lost connection to the game it was at around 10.45 pm. i do not know why but i just lost a gold can u help me?

Sadly without solid proof you won't receive compensation especially as lost connections are usually caused by user error.

I dont have proof but i got the gold from the v-log quiz

Unfortunately that doesn't make any difference, you won't receive compensation.

You're welcome. I understand your disappointment since from the outside it appears that developers aren't doing alot to remove errors, reduce lags and making the game more pleasant to play. Look into it deeper and watch the vlogs, livestream and comments around the forum and you see that they really are trying to improve the game. 

 

For example, these are the biggest issues that most people have ruining thier experience: lags, glitches and being kicked from battles unfairly. Much of this is hopefully set to be sorted out by HTML5 which believe it or not developers have been working on since 2015 when they first hinted about it in a vlog, moving an entire game is no small task and during the period when they're moving it has made some players believe that devs don't care, which is absolutely not true, believe me; if I thought they didn't care I wouldn't be sitting here explaining the situation to you. 

 

FYI: This game has over 50 Million registered accounts including alts and inactive accounts, I have no idea about Tanki's revenue but based on the amount of players I would think it is a multi-million dollar company. 

Well, since they put out a game full of flaws and cant tell when they are coming up with an improvement or solve the problems I have to conclude that I have been fooled and been wasting my time here.

Greetings, here is my opinion:

 

The transform from Flash to HTML5 takes much time - why? As Cedric said in the livestream, they not just copy-paste the game as it is, but actually rewrite, repair, simplify it. They didn't know years ago what they'll want to implement - so some updates may not flawlessly fit the existing game, or vice versa. This is where bugs occur. Reworking the game alongside the platform change will make the gaming experience way better.

I have never been interested in the reasons behind the flaws nor the future plans of Tanki, I'm concerned about the playability of the game and in the 9 months I have been playing sofar, plus what I read from the previous years of comments on these forums I conclude that Tanki has never been able to solve any of the major issues. These issues are of such grave severity that any commercially exploited company would keep them from bringing out such an inapt product. Tanki however never did. Unfortunately I have to conclude that playing this game has turned out to be such a disappointment that I hope any new player reads this before starting to play Tanki Online.

Around 1/5 of my shaft shots have done no damage whatsoever (not misses direct hits) both arcades and charged shots. Prior to this a fully charged shot would occasionally have damage equal to an arcade while still having the extra long reload after.

I have seen a similar complains from Railgun where Railgun does damage from time to time and other times it doesn't. Is the Client the one you using?

In case you are absolutely sure that what you just described happened, contact the help desk using this form and let them know about the problem, I'm sure they will help.

Well i tried to do stg and then after we placed 3 mines error occurred will this happen again?

There is no guarantee it wont happen again but to minimize the chance of it happening clear your cache to remove any corrupted files and try to avoid the bigger maps like Berlin, Lost Temple etc.

Errors and lags do happen and it is quite difficult to proof what is true and what is not so Golds are the kind of supplies that usually are hard to proof. If you got error while you were dropping a Gold or already dropped one, unfortunately nothing can be done about it, only if you have a solid proof that it was a fault on tanki's side, it might work and you might get your Gold back and in this case, video is the best option.

problem: overdrive timer resets after connection error

I'll start with an example. You are playing and your overdrive charge is at 90%, suddenly the "an error has occurred" or similar popup shows up, you have to reload the page to re-enter in the battle but when the game works again the overdrive charge was reset. Very frustrating, especially if you receive lots of errors (like me). I'm asking to simply store the charge level so if an error occurs you don't lose the possibility to use overdrive.

  I bought the railgun, and I played a battle. After the battle ended, I realized I wasn't using the railgun, but I was using the magnum, a turret I already bought. I went to switch to the railgun, but, for some reason, I didn't have it! I still had the same amount of diamonds before I tried to buy the railgun. Then I bought it again, and for some reason I had -478 diamonds left instead of 22 diamonds left!

Sometime,when i tab out, while still in game, it froze when i come back.It's not uncommon, but still annoying to hit refresh. is this my laptop problem or an undiscovered glitch?

Dumb client, joined a battle today and as soon as I cliked on play, I got loading screen for half a second then got back to the lobby with a never ending loading screen.

 

Basically, got kicked of a battle and I was not even loaded in the said battle. Happened before, it's a new glitch, 2-3 months maybe.

I would highly recommend you to play and gain crystals and by earning crystals that -478 will go down to 0 and from that on, everything you earn will be normal but if you contact the help desk, they will remove the Turret you bought and -478 is nothing but few battle(s) so you choose what to do.

 

 


What is that, that is tabbing out that you have to refresh, Client or a browser tab?

 

 


At least it isn't the garage loading one while joining a battle or already joined a battle, you know the one they fixed. Hmm... since it is loading slowly, there is one thing we can do to speed up the process for all those apps which load a bit slowly, maybe we can try and see if that will help the Client in this case.
